MINIATURE LONG HAIRED
Delighted to see so many successfully braved the journey in the inclement weather. There were no thin or undernourished dogs and I thoroughly enjoyed judging these lovely Miniature Long exhibits. Thank you for your entries. VD/B (7.1.) 1 Watkins Ch Bidornis Pinball Wizard, red: nice head, expression & pigment; good bone, kept topline. Lovely for age, 9 and a half years young. 2 Shutt's Jadag Kadbry Rose of Donnadoon, silver/dapple: good condition at 7 and a half years, sweeping keel good length of ribbing just prefered head & topline of 1. 3 Earley's Yelva Lady Wilhelmina to Warway. MPD (5.2) 1 Brooks Lyndarlea Atlantica, b/t: lovely head & eye, well set ears: long ribbed elegant dog just needs to drive out more to complete the picture. 2 Mee's Barlaine's Golden Striker, red: good depth of chest and tight shoulders, smaller mould than 1, just tucks up at the moment when standing as a little apprehensive so needs to settle. 3 Burr's Burrdach Drummer Boy. PD (6.1) 1 Lockett-Walters Ralines Red Kuri, red: super young dog with lovely head & eye, compact body, well angulated quarters. Very eye-catching. Best Puppy. 2 Poole's Findowrie City Slicker, red: another nice boy good bone and feet, well filled chest and good underline, moved soundly. 3 Barnsdale & Hayward Barnsdale Chriskim Dark Sun. JD (4.0) 1 Wood's Wildstar Wrenowned, b/t: stunning youngster with masculine head, lovely sweeping neck, and well laid shoulders, good top & underline; moved with drive. He completed the picture with an impressive jacket and I was pleased to award him his first CC. 2 Cawley & King's Creekpit Black Opal at Summerview, b/t: lovely boy in good condition, nice head, well shaped ear and oval chest. A free-moving houndy type with clean lines. I would just like to see him use his tail more. 3 MacClancy's Metadale Dangerous Liaison at Jaybo. PGD (10.3) 1 Wood's Wildstar Wrenowned. 2 Brooks Layways Piper For Lyndarlea, cream: good head and dark pigment, well built body with nice spring of rib, moved well. 3 Young's Willowheath Hendrix. LD (10.5) 1 Brooks Lyndarlea Fizzycal Attracts JW. choc/tan: well balanced dog with a noble head, good neck and shoulders, lovely length of body, well balanced throughout deserved his RCC. 2 Young's Willowheath ZZ Top, b/t: of good make & shape but would prefer slightly longer ribbing; moved well but needs to fine down. 3 McCarthy's Nagshall Polar Seal. OD (10.4) 1 Graham & Wood's Ch Jadag Fortons Special, b/t: a lovely hound in super condition, well made front, superb body and ribs; held topline on move but would have liked more animation. 2 Brooks Lyndarlea Earth Tremor, b/t: larger frame than 1. Good head, eye & reach of neck; lovely length of ribbing, short loin and well angulated quarter; same as 1, I would have liked more enthusiasm when moving. 3 Poole's Findowrie Skye Lord. MPD (9.3) 1 Herdman's Daxdaze Keeping the Magic, b/t: 1 and 2, being litter sisters, are both raw puppies with good heads and coats; very similar but just preferred length and underline of this one. 2 Herdman's Daxdaze Easter Magic, b/t: roaching up on stance but moved out well. 3 Brooks Lyndarlea Carry on Dory. PB (12.5) 1 Lockett-Walters Ralines Aubra Jean, blk/cream: litter brother to best puppy dog. Lovely build, good length and topline; super feet and bone; moved with elegance. Best Bitch Puppy. 2 Brooks Lyndarlea Sunset, red: stylish bitch just slightly higher than 1, good chest and depth of keel, kept a good topline on the move. 3 Thomas Shenaligh Sweet Dreamer. JB (15.6) 1 Weston's Chelane Pure Magic, b/t; well constructed and balanced bitch with super head and shoulders, good front extension, topline and rear angulations; should have a promising career. 2 McCarth's Nagshall My Fair Maiden, cream: lovely pigment and dark eye, good depth of chest, nice size, just favoured the angulation on 1. 3 Brooks Lyndarlea Dark Moment. PGB (16.8) 1 Fisher's Rugosa Dawn Sunshine, red: good head and oval front, compact and well constructed body; this bitch covers the ground well. 2 Earley's Rafthouse The Diva of Yelva, dapple: feminine head with well set ears, prominent chest and nice sweep of keel; length and movement fine but rises slightly on hindquarters. 3 Leach's Miriadachs Summer Breeze. LB (12.4) 1 Blackshaw's Ravenways Drama Queen, red: quality bitch with classic head, good shoulders and hind angulation, moves parallel; inclined to slowly sink at back end when standing. 2 Elworthy's Jamiespring Desert Flower, shaded cream: elegant little bitch, good depth of chest and well ribbed, moved straight and true. 3 Poole's Findowrie Wine n Roses. OB (11.6) 1 Holmes Ch Tammera Touch Of Elegance, red: This bitch really does fill the eye, scored on movement and ring presence. Super head neck and shoulders, lovely level topline, a real showgirl. CC. BOB & also Best In Show. Congratulations! 2 Thomas Shenaligh Sweet Shadow, red: another bitch of quality, excels in front with a good sweep of keel. Moves well, good coat and furnishings. RCC. 3 Earley's Yelva Silver Cloud.
