MINIATURE LONG HAIRED
My thanks to the exhibitors for a nice entry and their patience, also
my stewards who kept things moving. rather disappointingly that after a long
afternoon judging there was no food left for the judge!! I was hoping to see
some improvement with front construction since I last judge this variety, but
there are still a number of exhibits, Mainly males, that have short upper arms
and cut up keels on the plus side my CC and Res CC winning males were top
class, and are examples of the breed standard! presentation left a lot to be
desired in some cases and I was surprised that I had to clean my hands on a
couple of occasions!! the younger classes saw some very promising future
Champions in the making, so that was something of a plus! I was very pleased
with my main winners, which is good for the future of the breed. I found lots a
variation in colours since I last judged this variety.
