MINIATURE LONG HAIRED
With CCs. I would like to thank the exhibitors for allowing me the privilege of
judging their breed. Overall I was pleased with my principal winners although
there were quite a few youngsters which were overweight and at that were still
thin and lacking in body coverage which is sad when they are still puppies and
kept awfully thin. It is possible to have a well balanced dog conforming to the
breed standard and be under the 11 pound weight.. I would like to mention that I
was also disappointed with some of the heads and eye shape, where has the
beautiful conical head shape gone! In some cases they were familiar to toy
breeds. Muscle tone was weak in some and flat splayed feet are creeping in.
Today teeth were clean in all exhibits and all of the correct bite.
MPD (3)1 Kings Kingsdax Chase The Dream – 6 months Black and Cream –
good overall body proportions, pleasing head and eye, the best of feet in his
class, good depth of keel, well placed shoulders, firm body maintaining a level
topline and moved well around the ring. Really liked this little baby. 2 Geesons
Abydachs Aftershock – 7 months shaded red, with lots to like, well balanced head
and body proportions, nice eye of correct shape, would just prefer a little more
body coverage over ribbing, good angulation and moved with purpose and style.
For me today I preferred the front of the winner.3 Holden’s Sengepabu Saint
Valentine.
PD (7, 3a)1 Mains Scotiablue Dark Wizard – black and tan dog of 9
months, masculine head, good front assembly, well bodied, nice angulation just
needs to settle in topline to give a better profile when moving but overall a
nice exhibit. 2 Mains Scotiablue Bully Boy – silver dapple litter brother to
winner again pleasing in head and eye, nicely marked not quite the shoulder
placement of his brother, well balanced but again for me I would prefer more
weight over the ribbing. 3 Bell’s Tolberg Holly’s Little Cream
JD (3) 1 Kennedy’s Denkena’s Solar Storm – nice black and tan dog of
good shape and size, liked his head and pleasing eye, good oval front and tidy
feet, good length of ribbing and firm body and underline, good rear angulation
and firm hindquarters which he used on the move – a nice young man.2 Brooks –
Lyndarlea Atlantica – black and tan dog of correct shape and overall balanced.
Liked his masculine head with dark eye, just preferred the shoulder placement of
the winner but was presented in good condition and moved well around the ring. 3
Bell’s Tolberg Holly’s Red Devil
PGD (2, 1a)
LD (4, 1a) 1 Hallett’s Cagebrook Jimmy Choo At Loretto –liked this dog
as soon as he entered the ring – eye catching and was not disappointed when I
went over him – a good quality shaded red, with the most desirable of heads and
lovely shaped eye, oval front and the nicest of feet in his class, good reach of
neck and well placed shoulders, the right amount of body weight and the firmest
topline and underline, neat hocks and was a picture to watch effortlessly moving
around the ring – had no hesitation in awarding him a RDCC today. 2 Brooks –
Lyndarlea Fizical Attraction – chocolate and tan smaller in size and shape but
still very well balanced, again typical masculine head, firm body, topline and
underline, good rear angulation and nice short hocks, moved with style and
purpose around the ring, 3 Roberts’s Denver Dream Lover.
OD (4, 1a)1 Woods’s – Ch Wildstar Wrenowned JW – my find of the day and
what can I say that hasn’t already been said about this beautiful dog - I loved
everything about him – typical to my type and had all the characteristics of the
breed I was looking for – you see it can be done everything required in a small
package – the best of heads and almond eye, correct coat, good front and well
padded feet, good reach of neck leading in to well laid back shoulders, firm
topline and underline and correct angulation which powered him around the ring
effortlessly, pleased to award his the DCC, BOB and then to find that he went
Group 2 in the Hound Group – what an amazing end to the day – a massive well
done!!!!!! 2 Brooks Layways Piper For Lyndarlea JW – Cream dog of nice shape and
size, liked his overall look, nice filled front and tidy feet, well balanced
head, good reach of neck, tight shoulders and the correct amount of body weight,
nice firm topline and liked his angulation, moved well around the ring showing
ring style and presence. 3 Breese’s Silkdown On Parade Jw Shcm
MPB (2)1 Geeson’s Abydachs Angelica – 8 months old black and cream
bitch with the most appealing head and eye, sweet expression and oozes quality –
really liked her a lot and has good bone and tight padded feet, well filled in
front and good reach of neck leading in well placed shoulders, lovely rear
angulation and looked a picture both standing and moving, just hope she does not
lengthen any more, BP 2 Brough & Walker’s Lyndarlea Choco Brownie At Riselawroad
– chocolate and tan 7 months old, pleasing head and eye, needs time to settle on
the move, not quite the overall balance yet but has time on her side.
PB (7)1 Mains’s Scotiablue Lily Bell – black and tan of 9 months old,
like her head and dark eye, lovely expression, good overall shape and lovely
tight padded feet, good length of neck, neat hocks and firm topline, moved with
style and purpose. 2 Oxley’s Dinkidax Dollipop – 10 months old again similar in
type to winner, well proportioned head and eye, good depth of keel and tight
bunched feet, nice overall body proportions and excellent rear angulation, just
preferred the overall picture of winner but still a lovely exhibit. 3 Holden’s
Dinkidax Ebony & Ivory.
JB (4)1 Kennedy’s Denkena’s Solar Eclipse – black and tan, liked her
overall size and well proportioned in all departments, sweet feminine head, the
best of feet in her class, good depth of keel, well ribbed and muscled, good
overall body weight with firm rounded rump, neat hocks moved well around the
ring keeping a level topline at all times.2 Roberts’s Denver Sugar Babe – cream
again another nice well presented bitch, slightly taller frame than (1) but lots
to like about her, pleasing head and eye and nice expression, good all round
body proportions and certainly had ring presence, just preferred the front
assembly of (1) 3 Breese’s Chriskims Sunkissed With Silkdown.
PG (5) 1 Johnson’s Charpurdy Just Iss- really lots to like about this
bitch and was not disappointed on examination, she has such a lovely head and
eye and the best of fronts, good reach of neck and well placed shoulders,
particularly like her well muscled body and the fact the ribs were covered with
good body weight, nice topline and underline and certainly demands your
attention, was presented in tip top condition and did not put a foot wrong today
and was pleased to award her RBCC – well done!!!! 2 Laird’s Flavian Bonye At
Morn – black and cream again another nice bitch and was presented in good
condition-slightly finer bone to winner but liked her overall balance, good
prominence of keel, tidy feet and stood like a rock on the table, liked her
ribbing and rear angulation, she had style and oozed confidence, looked good
standing and in profile. 3 Brooks’s Lyndarlea Carry On Dory.
LB (6, 2 a)1 Priestley’s Hillstar Alexzina, really like this lady, what
a rock on the table, so snooty and certainly demanded your attention, correct
head and eye, beautiful thick padded feet and trimmed neatly, good oval front
and excellent reach of neck leading into well placed shoulders, good firm
muscled body with good rear angulation, really liked her on the move and was
presented in tip top condition.2 Johnson’s Charpurdy Millie Mcstar - similar in
type to winner and like her overall body shape, just the right about of
bodyweight, sweet expression, good prominence of breast bone and good
forequarters, long muscular neck leading into good length of shoulder, neat
hocks and presented in clean condition, moved well and with style around the
ring.3 Shutt’s Chocolate Enchantress Of Donnadoon.
OB (7, 2 a) 1 Roberts’s Ch Denver Suzi Wong, a worthy champion indeed,
cream bitch that oozes quality throughout, presented in immaculate condition,
liked her expression and had the most desirable head with correct eye, good
front and well placed shoulders, good rounded body and well muscled throughout,
she has purpose, style and grace and looked beautiful both standing and moving –
stood out in the line up and had no hesitation in giving her the BCC. 2 Brooks
Lyndarlea Dark Moment – smaller type to winner but I liked her on examination,
she has correct body weight, pleasing feminine head and expression, good firm
feet, nice reach of neck good oval ribcage and was level at all times both
standing and in profile, beautiful rear angulation and neat hocks which she used
on the move. 3 Sutherland’s Toscanelli Border Maiden.
