MINIATURE LONG HAIRED
I was very honoured to be asked to
judge my breed at this years show, and would like to thank the Committee for
this hospitality. My thanks go also to my very efficient stewards who kept
everything going smoothly. I had a quality entry. There were no over thin
exhibits and generally temperaments were good.
VD(3) 1 Breese’s Silkdown On Parade. 7 year old, still moving well,
good layback of shoulder, well ribbed, hocks well let down, driving out
strongly. 2 Broad’s Jenwood Ring Of Bells. 8 year old red, good front, lovely
tight feet, short coupled, moving out confidently. 3 Earley’s Yelva Prince
Charming. Good front, nice tight elbows, well ribbed, moving level.
Sp PD (8, 1) 1 Brook’s Lyndarlea Bubbles. Well made youngster with good
layback of shoulder, compact body, tight elbows, free mover, keeping a good
outline. 2 Holden’s Lyndarlea Black Ace At Sengepabu. B/t with pleasing head and
expression, well laid shoulders, strong rear, moving well with level topline. 3
Barnsdale’s Chriskims Blaze Of Light. Pleasing red with feminine head and oval
eye, well laid shoulders, ribbing well back, strong hindquarters, moving out
with drive.
Sp JD(7, 1) 1 Boyle’ Zarcrest Ice Conqueror. Lovely cream with
masculine head, correct shoulder placement, tight elbows and compact body,
moving with drive from well let down hindquarters. 2 Holden’s Sengepabu Saint
Valentine. Lovely head and eye, good layback of shoulder, well ribbed, free
mover. 3 Humphries’ Rossglen Razumov At Avonlea. Small shaded red, good layback
and bend of stifle, moving well with level topline, would like a slightly more
oval eye.
YD(11, 1) 1 McDonnell’s Smartdac Black ’N’ Blazin. Lovely b/t
with stunning outline, masculine head, good front with tight elbows and well
bunched feet, hocks well let down so moving level. I just wish that he would
move with a bit more verve. 2 Poole’s Findowrie City Slicker. Small, compact
red, well boned with pleasing head, good layback of shoulders, ribbing well
back, well angulated hindquarters, moving level with drive. 3 Passey’s Rafthouse
Dudley Dee Amoung Cagebrook. Pleasing b/t with masculine head and compact body,
not quite as low as first and second, moving well from strong hindquarters.
PGD(15, 3) 1 Burge &Rossiter’s Willowheath Silver Moods At
Creekpit. Stunning s/d with lovely outline, good head, correct front with tight
elbows, well let down hindquarters, moving strongly holding his topline. 2
Latham-Jackson’s Nagshall Blacknite. Well made b/t with masculine head, sound
front, well ribbed, good bend of stifle, driving out holding his outline. 3
McCarthy’s Nagshall All Guns Blazing. Small b/t with a pleasing head, lovely
oval front, tight elbows, well ribbed, moving with drive from well let down
hindquarters.
LD(12, 1) 1 Young’s Willowheath Hendrix. Handsome b/t, good front
construction with tight elbows, ribbing well back, hocks well let down, holds
his outline on the move and drives out. I see he is the sire of my post grad
winner. 2 Lockett-Walters’ Metadale Dick Turpin. Small well made red with plenty
of bone, good layback of shoulder, well ribbed, strong hindquarters with good
bend of stifle, driving out holding his outline at all times. 3 Richardson’s
Sirrondach Ayrton Senna. Looks good on the move with pleasing outline, well
placed shoulders, tight elbows, well angulated hindquarters.
OD(16, 2) A very strong class. 1 Turner’s Ch Rafthouse Herr Flick. Very
impressive dapple, so well made, lovely length of neck flowing into well placed
shoulders, good top and underline, well ribbed, correctly angulated
hindquarters, covers the ground effortlessly with parallel movement and drive
from behind, looked a picture. CC. 2 Cawley & King’s Creekpit Black Opal At
Summerview. A smaller package but also very soundly made with good bone, has a
pleasing head and eye, is well angulated fore and aft with tight elbows, has
lovely free flowing movement holding his outline at all times. 3 Wood’s Ch
Wildstar Wrenowned. Looks lovely in profile, good layback of shoulder, tight
elbows, well angulated hindquarters, would prefer longer ribbing, moving
confidently.
VB (11, 1) 1 Goddard’s Ch Minard Krystal Darque. Well known Ch, still
looking a picture, well angulated front and rear, well ribbed, really flowing
round the ring with level topline and good drive, in good coat. RCC. 2 Davis’
Corrinbar Blue Angel. Well made s/d with pretty feminine head, well angulated,
level top and underline, moving out well. 3 Brown’s Ch/Ir Ch Northnook Ellie May
At Garbosa. Quality chocolate with pleasing head, well laid shoulders with tight
elbows, well let down hindquarters, moving confidently.
Sp PB(11) 1 Worswick’s Indicott In Tune With Dolyharp. Really loved
this young brindle, she is low and level with an excellent front, tight elbows
and well angulated hindquarters so she flows round with drive and holding her
outline. BP. 2 McCarthy’s Nagshall Puppet On A String. Pleasing cream with good
pigment, well laid shoulders, good length of ribbing, moving confidently with
level topline. 3 Young’s Willowheath Marillion. Well made red with pleasing head
and eye, good body, well angulated, driving out with parallel movement, not
making life easy for her handler.
Sp JB (8) 1 Bell’s Tolberg Holly’s Little Tilly. Pretty b/t
with kind expression, well angulated front with good length of neck, compact
body, hindquarters well let down, moving with drive. 2 Geeson’s Abydachs
Angelica. Another nice b/t, low and level, well ribbed, good bend of stifle,
moving out well. 3 Oxley’s Dinkidax Dollipop. Small b/t with good front
construction, tight elbows, well ribbed, level topline, moving confidently.
YB(13) 1 Tolberg Holly’s Little Tilly. 2 Angear’s Ridgegrove Silver
Sixpence. Small compact s/d, good layback of shoulder, tight elbows, level
topline, well angulated hindquarters, moving out with drive. 3 McDonnell’s
Smartdac Black N Bewitched. B/t with good layback of shoulders, elbows well in,
level topline and underline, moving with drive.
PGB(15, 5) 1 Johnson’s Charpurdy Just Iss. Elegant b/t with lovely
outline, pretty feminine head, good angulation, well ribbed, driving out with
level topline. 2 Smartdac ’N’ Bewitched. 3 Brook’s Lyndarlea Muffin. B/t with
well balanced outline, good spring of ribs, well placed shoulders, moving
freely. LB(23, 6) 1 Lockett-Walters’ Ralines Aubra Jean. Loved this little
bitch, she has plenty of bone, a pretty head with kind expression, good layback
of shoulders with tight elbows and well angulated quarters, moving out well and
keeping her outline. 2 Edwards’ Barok Bonnechere. Another quality exhibit, red
with good front construction, low and level, well ribbed, moving fluently with
drive from well let down hocks. 3 Norton’s Halunke Casalani. Small compact b/t
with pleasing head, good lay of shoulder and spring of rib, moving freely with
good drive.
OB(15, 1) This was a very strong class. 1 Holmes’ Ch Tammera
Touch Of Elegance. Well named elegant red bitch, beautiful in profile as
everything is in the right place, lovely head with oval eye, good length of neck
running into correct shoulders, good spring of rib and well angulated
hindquarters, really flowing round the ring holdidng a good outline. CC and BOB.
2 Angear’s Ch Ridgegrove Halle Berry. Another quality bitch with a lovely
outline and in full coat, good layback of shoulder, tight elbows, well ribbed,
level topline and underline, hindquarters well let down, moving out strongly
with drive. 3 McAlpine &Walsh’s Ch/Ir Ch Walpines Queens Courtier. B/t with a
lovely head and expression, well laid shoulders, good length of neck, well
ribbed, level topline, well angulated hindquarters, moving out level, just wish
she wouldn’t pull away from her handler on the move. Three lovely bitches.
Good Citizen B (1) 1 Murphy’s Classidax Against All Odds. Smart
b/t with pleasing head, level topline, moving confidently.
