DACHSHUND - MINIATURE LONG HAIRED
MPD (9) 1 Hallett's Donnadoon Shadow
Phantom Cum Loretto. Most attractive 8 month cr/br (most unusual colouring),
liked his overall outline with handsome masculine head, well put together, just
needs time to develop into his frame, moved out with an easy free moving action.
2 Johnson's Charpurdy's Gold McNugget. 6 months b/t, out of a smaller mould,
super bone/feet, well constructed front assembly, did not hold such a firm
outline on the move as first. 3 Cooper's Jumanda's Antonio.
PD(5) 1 Lockett-Walters' Ralines Here Comes The Sun. Best PD and BPIB.
9 months old red with immediate appeal, lots to like, very well constructed,
excelled in head, dark eye and forechest, lovely bone and thickly padded feet,
good reach of neck, well ribbed back, holds himself well on the go around and
was sound away and back. 2 Dickenson's Dinkidax Broxa Boy. 10 months b/t out of
a smaller mould, again pleased in outline and moved out soundly, holds himself
well, not quite the length of ribbing or the forechest of first. 3 McCarthy's
Nagshall Solid As A Rock.
JD(6, 1) 1 Barrow's Zarcrest Dancing On Ice To Frankanwen. Very
handsome 16 month b/cr, sturdily made and compact in outline, excellent
forechest, bone and thickly padded feet, very firm in his topline, very sound in
his movement, was presented in excellent condition, to nit pick, would like more
length of neck. 2 Brookes' Lyndarlea Raferty JW. 16 months sh/cr who holds an
attractive outline on the stack, lovely head/eye, lots of length, good bone and
feet, well put together, not quite so positive in his movement as first. 3
Halsall's Kiddles The Maestro.
PGD(4) 1 McCarthy's Nagshall Oklahoma Sunrise. Attractive 19 month cr,
presenting a neat outline, pleased in head/eye, held himself really well on the
go round, liked his front construction. 2 Cooper's Jealroie Sir Percivale At
Jumanda. 2 year sh/red with lots to like, pleased in outline at the stack, good
bone/feet, not quite the outline of first on the go round, would like to see a
flatter coat. 3 Renton &Brown's Garbosa Catcha Moonbeam.
LD(7) 1 Holden's Sengepabu Saint Valentine. RCC. This 2 year
old red immediately takes the eye with his gleaming red flat jacket,
presentation was spot on, nicely put together, attractive head and dark eye,
very firm body, came into his own on the move, sound and with lots of animation,
preferred the masculinity of the open winner in the challenge. 2 Fsadni's Rugosa
Saint Barnabas. Shapely 3 year sh/cr, with neat outline, attractive head and
dark eye, whilst he looked fine on the stack, he did not hold his outline so
well on the move. 3 Poole's Findowrie City Slicker.
OD(5) 1 Wood's Ch Wildstar Wrenowned JW. DCC and BOB. Top quality b/t
whom I made BP last time I judged the breed. Can only reiterate my comments
then, loved him for breed type, super head and expression, lots of length,
impressive bone and well bunched feet, balanced angulation with well filled
forechest, a true Dachshund in miniature. Most impressive on the move and
presented to the minute. 2 Brooks' Lyndalea Fizzical Attracts JW. 4 year
choc/dapple, who won limit the last time I judged, still with lots to like, like
his make and shape, good bone, lovely forechest and holds his topline well, just
felt that on this occasion he was not in quite the same condition and his coat
could have been better presented. 3 Hallett's Cagebrook Jimmy Choo At Loretto.
Good Citizen D (2) 1 Halsall's Kiddles The Maestro. 14 month b/t, stood
third in junior, smart and well presented with good bone/feet, pleasing overall
shape. 2 Paterson's Duke Of Dallas. 2 year b/cr, could not match the
construction of first and needs to carry more condition.
MPB(6, 1) 1 Lockett-Walters' Minard Eye Candy For Ralines, Best PB.
Very eyecatching pale cream of 6 months, very aptly named, real glamour puss,
super conical head with the darkest pigmentation, super bone and feet, well put
together, moved out very freely, has loads of potential, in the challenge for BP
thought her kennel mate was more collected on the move. 2 McCarthy's Nagshall
Wings Of Love. Very smart sh/cr who presented a balanced outline, pleased in her
construction and moved out soundly keeping her topline, not the head of first. 3
Brooks' Lyndalea Cathrine.
PB(6, 1) 1 Brown's Ralines Good Day Sunshine At Garbosa. Top quality
sh/r litter sister to puppy dog winner, lots to like, lovely feetbone, super
head/eye, good ribbing, excellent presentation, moved easily. 2 Nagshall Wings
Of Love. 3 Holmes' Tammera Just Elegant.
JB(4) Very mixed class. 1 Cooper's Jumunda's Silver Moonlight.
16 month silver/dapple daughter of DCC, up to size, real Dachshund in miniature,
lovely bone/feet, lots of length in ribbing, well put together, won on her easy
flowing movement and carriage. 2 Holden's Sengepabu Sammy Short Legs. 12 month
glamorous petite cream of completely different type to first (most unfortunate
name), very smart in outline, again well constructed, could not match the easy
flowing movement of first. 3 Norton's Halunke Dream Maker.
PGB(10, 2) Most difficult class. 1 Clewes' Torwood Declaration At
Shardbeck. 22 month sh/red, looked very smart in outline, with good head
carriage and good top and underline, good bone/feet, thought that she moved out
more freely and with better carriage than the rest. 2 Norton's Halunke Sheer
Magic. Compact and chunky 12 month old b/t, lovely head and eye, lots to like,
not so free in movement or carriage as first. 3 Priestley's Hillstar
Amberlicious.
LB(7, 3) 1 Metcalfe's Metadale Lallique. RCC. High quality 2 year sh/r,
presents a very smart outline, very neatly put together with good forechest and
good ribbing, lovely bone/feet, moves out soundly and carries herself well, was
close up in the challenge. 2 Leach's Willowheath Lady Sophia At Miriadachs. 5
year b/t with lovely head, pleased for her breed type, not quite the front or
movement of first. 3 McCarthy's Nagshall Puppet On A String JW.
OB(3, 1) 1 Johnson's Charpudy Just Iss. BCC. This b/t of almost 4 years
stood away from the rest, impressed for breed type, a real Dachshund in
miniature, holds herself so well with proud head carriage and firm outline, has
all the requirements of forechest, lengthy ribbing and balanced angulation that
enabled her to move out with an easy free movement, thought that she was a good
match with the dog CC winner, and it was a close call for BOB. 2 Mee's Barlaines
Dark Delight. 4 year b/t out of a smaller mould, nicely put together, presents a
smart outline on the stack, could not match the free flowing movement of first.
