DACHSHUND - MINIATURE LONG HAIRED
Thank you to my exhibitors. All were nicely
presented, but I did find several dirty teeth. This should be a basic
preparation.
V (3,2) 1 Burge & Rossiter's Rafthouse Rainbows End of Creekpit ShCM. 7
year old bitch. Elegant head and neck leading to well laid back shoulders. Good
forechest with prominent sternum. Slight rise to topline when standing, but ok
on the move. Good rear angulation. RBB.
PD (1) 1 Broard's Neertanauf Sea Magic. Bold head and expression. Well
off for bone. Excellent forechest carried well into long ribbing, short loin and
powerful quarters. Moved true coming and going. BP.
JD (3) 1 Le Page's Rafthouse Iceman. Amongst Thelepees. Well held head
and neck. Correct oval front with good shoulders and tight elbows. Held his
topline well and moved with drive. 2 Burge & Rossiter's Lyndarlee Lordy Lordy at
Creekpit. Different type to 1. Nothing overdone, shoulder placement good
and ribbing going well back. Covered the ground well on the move. 3 McCarthy's
Nagshall Solid As A Rock.
PGD (4) 1 McCarthy's Nagshall Oklahoma Sunrise JW. Everything in
proportion with no exaggerations. Good bone. Back end strong with excellent
angulation. Topline held on the move. Strong quarters which he used well going
round the ring. 2 Friend's Willowheath Festival Guy. Good head and Expression.
Slightly shorter in neck than ideal, but a good forechest and ribbing. Correct
movement. 3 Le Noury's Willowheath Charlie Jaz Man.
OD (6) I felt that I was spoilt for choice in this class, some very
nice dogs. 1 Wood's Ch Wildstar Wrenowned JW. Elegant but masculine. Head
correct. Deep chest with pronounced sternum. Ribs carried back to a short loin.
Quarters well muscled enabling him to move with a powerful drive. He covered the
ground with a true action and kept his outline at all times. BOB. 2 Young's
Willowheath Hendrix. Slightly different type to my first. Not quite the ribbing
of 1, but very little between them. Head, forechest and shoulders all good,
slightly longer loin, but quarters and movement excellent. RBD. 3 Cawley &
King's Creekpit Black Opal At Summerview JW ShCM.
JB (3,2) 1 McCarthys Nagshal Wings of Love. My notes say 'a good
solid bitch', and her overall look was just that. Correct ratios, not too low,
excellent quarters. Topline good. Lovely pigmentation.
PGB (4,1) 1 McCarthy's Nagshall Wings of Love. 2 Remy's Spengretta Miss
Amey. Would have liked to see just a little more padding on this girl. Feminine
head, well laid back shoulders into OK ribbing. Short loin and good topline.
Moved with purpose. 3 Burge & Rossiter's Barok Ballerania of Creekpit JW.
OB (4,2) 1 Young's Willowheath Frosting Angel. An elegant feminine
bitch. Lovely head and graceful neck flowing into a deep chest and strong
ribbing. Topline held at all times. A well muscled backend gave her the drive to
really move around the ring. BB. 2 McCarthy's Nagshall Puppet on a String JW.
Different type to 1. Sweet expression, well carried head into good shoulders.
Would have preferred a slightly shorter loin. Quarters strong and moved
correctly coming and going.
