Dogs Thank you to the exhibitors for such a
quality entry of dogs. Weight was not a problem however I was rather
disconcerted to find exhibits with dirty teeth. MPD (4,1) 1
Brook's Lyndarlea Rustic. Young red with beautiful head and feet. Shoulders
well set with good length of ribbing. Strong loin and very sound on the move. 2
Barnsdale's Christmas Dreamcaster. B and t boy with good head and shoulders.
His shape appealed d overall very nice.Lost out to 1st as he needs to settle on
the move. 3 Roper's Idirsholas Jazz's Gift. PD (5) 1 King's
Doujac Rufus by Kingsdax. Lovely 10 months red. Excellent head and feet. Good
length of ribbing and well angulated at both ends. Compact, sound and kept a
level top line on the move. BPD 2 Bedford's Dinkidudlor Jankay Tooray. Lovely
youngster and similar remarks apply as 1st. Not quite as confident. 3 Paulin's
Diquest Chocolate Whirl at Sunmik. JD (7) 1 Shutt's Donydax
Secret Dream of Donnadoon. Beautiful cream dog with good pigmentation. Lovely
shape and body proportions. Beautiful head, well set shoulder and length of
ribbing. Was not cooperating with its handler today. 2 Holden's Sengepabo Ares.
Lovely choc again with good body proportions. Very sound and liked him a lot.
Preferred the head of 1st but pressed hard. 3 Mee's Barlaines' Star Time.
N (2) 1 Leach's Miriadachs Red Barron. Nice youngster with a
nice outline. Excellent pigmentation. Was quite naughty but saw his proportions
on the move. 2 Burge and Rossiter's Lyndarlea Lordy Lordy at Creekpit. Choc
dapple, sound on the move keeping a level topline. Very nice head. Preferred
shoulder placement of 1st. PG (8) 1 Palin's Sanmik Tuvalk. Very
attractive 22 months red. All of a piece. Well boned and angulated. Good body
proportions with a beautiful head and neck. 2 McCarthy's Nagshall Oaklahoma
Sunrise. Very attractive youngster. Good body proportions. Lovely head and
expression. Moved soundly keeping a level topline. 3 Cawley and King's
Summerview Make Way for Roo. L (11) A lovely class. 1
Lockett-Walter's Ralines Here Comes the Sun. Most appealing, handsome dog.
Beautiful head and dark eye. Best of shoulders and so well put together. Moved
with style and presence. DCC and BOB. 2 Barrow's Zarcrest Dancing on Ice to
Frankanwen. Beautiful black and cream immaculately presented and again with the
best of shoulders and excellent ribbing. In lovely bloom and has stlye. I
preferred the hind angulation of 1st. 3 Holmes' Tammera Touch of Class.
OD (5) 1 Brook's Lyndarlea Raferty (JW). Lovely youngster from the top
drawer. Excellent pigmentation and well angulated fore and aft. Looked a
picture standing and moving and pressed very hard but I felt the cc winner had
the edge on the move. RCC. 2 Young's ch. Willowheath Hendrix. I remember
judging this lovely b and t as a youngster and he is a very high class
exhibit. Most beautiful head and excellent ribbing and so sound but not moving
with the same verve and vigour as 1st. 3 Holden's Ch. Sengepabir Saint
Valentine. SpO Black and Tan 1. McCarthy's Nagshall All Guns
Blazing. Lovely head and looked a picture stacked. Excellent ribbing and sound.
SpO Dapple (4) 1 Burge and Rossiter Willowheath Silver Moods
at Creekpit. Very attractive dog with a lovely head. Nice overall shape and
elegant. Moved well keeping a level topline. 2 Leyshon's Picklescott Zigmund.
Very nice overall shape and body proportions. Very attractive head. Looked good
on the stance and on the move. 3 Brook's Lyndarlea Billy Buntin SpO AOC
1 Brook's Lyndarlea Raferty (JW) 2 Way's Sudasam A Town of Magic. Black and tan
with a good overall shape. Very good reach of neck and excellent feet. Could
have moved a little more freely to complete the picture.

Miniature Long Haired
Bitches: MP (7)
1 Young's Willowheath Lulu. Nicely balanced baby, fairly well put together and
sound movement, cuts up underneath a touch, otherwise promising right through.
2 Chappell's Gleneddee Miz She Devil. Lovely to go over, with a gorgeous head,
and chiselling under eyes. Neat front, well made rear, a good backline, just a
little long in back, and needs to get her head up moving. 3 McCarthy's Nagshall
The Power Of Love. PB (11) 1 Angear's Ridgegrove Jasmine (Best
Puppy) The best front construction in the class! Pleasing head, not too narrow,
ok for neck. Front is even and true. Excellent body for age, and a nicely
angulated rear. Good mover but she can cut corners! 2 Poole's Findowrie
Flirtation. Another nice bitch, not quite the length of neck of the above, but
a good positive mover, looks better moving than standing when she can hunch up,
but just a baby, so will improve no doubt. 3 Passey's Cagebrook Moon Dancer.
J (11) 1 Edwards, Barok Blond Bombshell, Needs a firmer
temperament, but otherwise a well constructed bitch, good power from short
hocks and correct length of stifles, Excellent topline, OK in head, but eyes
could be a little more typy. Half sister to the Minor Puppy. 2 Halsall's
Kiddles Psalm, Great little Choc, Powerful, short coupled build, fails in
length of muzzle and she is a trifle too short in body, but great temperament,
coat and condition, and a super mover. 3 Blackshaw's Ravenways Bring on
Tomorrow. N(4) 1 Norris's Criscan Karess. Pleasing type, she
runs up in topline and hocks could be firmer, OK in front, Lovely pigment and
coat coming. Fair mover. Another sired by Ch Willowheath Hendrix. 2 Green's
Neertanauf Lucia Rijker, I liked this B/T up from previous class. Just needs to
fill in middle piece, and pull herself together. Lovely head and sound on the
move. 3 Barnsdale's Chriskim's High Spirit. PG (17)1 Mccarthy's,
Nagshall Wings Of Love. Pretty bitch with lustrous eyes and soft expression,
but would want it a bit more "varmity", as soft is not what we want in a
dachshund. Holds her outline in profile, and sound moving up and down. Excellent
type and quality. Would want to feel a little more muscle - Sired again by Ch
Hendrix. 2 Barnsdale's Chriskim's Rhine Maiden. Another very nice exhibit, just
needs a little firmer temperament. Excellent topline and rear, and also
pleasing to go over. Well handled, but she needs more confidence in herself. 3
Holmes Tammera Just Elegant. LB (18) CC 1 Sainsbury's Ridgegrove
Chocolate Drop At Boscolla, Super bitch to go over. Very high quality for
construction and movement. Holds her outline immaculately, Smashing coat and
condition, pleasing head and a wonderful chocolate dapple colour all through.
Absolutely true coming towards, and profile movement is outstanding. Compact,
and with ground clearance, she is very close indeed to the standard. 2 Edward's
Barok Blondeliah. Looks amazing on the move but tends to pull herself back
standing, and loses her lovely neck. Excellent to go over and an easy champion
I would think. Very good honest bitch. 3 Lockett-Walters, Miriadach Maggie Mae.
O (13)1 RCC Boyle's Ch Zarcrest Ice On Fire. Lovely bitch,
with correct ground clearance, enough front, excellent firm topline, good over
croup and tail set. Good Mover in front and profile but a mite close going
away. Coat in immaculate condition, and it was a real pleasure to go over her.
2 Elworthy's Ch Shenaligh Sweet Surprise, Neat and well put together. Also
holds a perfect topline, was inclined to pin in on right front leg, otherwise a
beauty and moving well in profile. Well handled too! 3 Blackshaw's & Mitchell's
Ravenways Essence Of Peach. Sp O B/T (4) 1 Edwards Barok
Brighter Side. Lovely headed bitch, conical skull, with good length of
foreface. A biggish sort and could do with more neck, but moving well, and a
gorgeous coat and colour, Sired by Ch Hendrix as were a lot of the winners. 2 Mee's
Barlaines Black Princess. Also appealed for type and temperament, she does tend
to tummy tap though, and needs more drive in quarters. She too was well handled
and presented. 3 Lucia Rijker. Sp O: Dapple (3) 1 Shutts'
Jadag Kadbry Rose Of Donnadoon. Two very well marked dapples, winner nearly 11
years old. Still very sound and free moving. Foreface a bit sharp, but it has
length. Excellent body and topline. 2 Cooper's Jumanda's Silver Moonlight,
Beautiful head, eyes and expression, Very well muscled which I admired. She was
not using her rear and going close going away, otherwise a lovely bitch.
Sp O: Any Other Colour (8) 1 Barok Blondeliah. 2 Mccarthy's
Nagshall My Fair Maiden. Sturdy build and has plenty of drive in profile, not
the length of neck of winner, and coat not in such bloom, but admired her
proportions. 3 Way's Sudasam's Majic Touch.
