DACHSHUND - MINIATURE LONG HAIRED
PD (3,1) 1. Shutts
Donnydax Secret Dream of Donnadoon, 8 months, fabulous head and eye, lovely
dark pigmentation, fantastic bone, prominent forechest, good length of neck
into well placed shoulders, good length of well covered ribbing, held topline
at all times, nice feet, moved round the ring well. BD, BPIB. 2. Holden's
Ravenways Now It's For Real at Sengepabu, another lovely puppy, ten months,
good head, dark eye, shorter in length than 1, topline needs to level on the
move, but did move out well.
JD (5) 1. Lockett-Walter's Ralines Here Comes The Sun, 17 months, nice
head, would have preferred more reach of neck, really good length of ribbing,
which was well covered, good height length ratio, moved well. RBD. 2. Holden's
Sengepabu Ares, nice head and eye, good length of neck into OK shoulders, moved
well. Would have preferred tighter elbows and longer ribbing. Correct coat. 3.
Johnson's Charpurdy's Gold McNugget.
PGD (1) 1. McCarthy's Nagshall Oaklahoma Sunrise JW, Pretty head, dark
eye, nice pigmentation, good overall length but would prefer longer ribbing,
would have preferred more length of upper arm, nice short hocks but moved a
little close behind. Kept level topline on the move.
OD (3) 1. Robert's Ravenways Tornero at Dandydayo, black and tan,
moved out really well, nice head and eye, really good length of ribbing into
good length of body, well covered, low and level, would have preferred more
length of neck to give a balanced outline. Good driving movement. 2. Hallett's
Ch. Cagebrook Jimmy Choo at Loretto, beautiful shaded red coat, with the
correct amount of feathering, moved out with drive, good head and eye, topline
rose a little on the move, would have preferred a better follow through on his
underline, would have liked him to be a bit covered overall. 3. McCarthy's
Hagshall All Guns Blazing.
PB (6,1) 1. Graham's Jadag Felicity Fornton, 10 month old black and
tan, looked a picture when stacked, nice head, good dark eye, would have
preferred a longer neck, level topline and good depth, strong bone, did not
have the driving hind movement I was looking for. 2. Holden's Sengepabu Lady
Guinevere, very pretty small bitch but held her own, good length of neck into
well placed shoulders, well covered, good length of ribbing, lost her topline
fractionally on the move but I am sure that will level out as she matures.
Moved really well with drive. 3. Birdsworth's Ambyth Finest Edition.
JB (3) 1. McCarthy's Nagshall Wings Of Love JW, pretty head, good
pigmentation, would have preferred a longer neck, well placed shoulders, nice
feet, good length of ribbing, prominent breast bone, moved well. RBB. 2.
Renton's Ralines Good Day Sunshine at Garbosa, good bone, ark pigmentation,
prominent forechest, moved well but slightly too tall for me. 3. Green's
Neertanauf Lucia Rijker.
PGB (3) 1. Holden's Sengepabu Sammy Short Legs, really liked this
girl, lovely dark pigmentation, compact well muscled body, she moved purposely
around the ring, she showed true dachshund attitude with her superior head
carriage, once again a little more neck would have helped her profile but that
seemed to be the theme of the day, she looked to me "fit for purpose". BB, BOB.
2. McCarthy's Nagshall Sweet Caroline, another nice bitch, good head and eye,
correct ear set, did not hold topline or move as well as ! 3. Renton's Ralines
Good Day Sunshine at Garbosa.
OB (4,1) 1. Hellen's Andynromadax Alanna At Lynbain, good head and eye,
good length of neck into well placed shoulders, correct amount of coat, good
length of ribbing, well covered, moved with drive. 2. Green's Eldmour Electra,
shorter type, nice tight elbows, well covered, moved well but a little high on
the rear on the move. 3. Johnson's Ch. Charpurdy Just Iss.
