Min L/h Dachshunds
MPD (4) 1 Oxley’s Dinkidax Grisham, 7 months b/t, very well balanced, nicely contoured head, good ground clearance, enough bone, short ribcage, excellent topline. Moves with great style & confidence, but comes on a little wide. Excellent size & weight. BP; 2 McCarthy’s Nagshall Boogie Shoes, 6 months light red of good overall shape & size. Not as composed on the move as 1 or as settled in topline; 3 McCarthy’s Nagshall Just Santana. PD (3) 1 Scott’s Dinkidax Dawn Breaker, 7 months b/t who tipped the scales but was well balanced with correct balance of outline, quality head & nicely conditions, moved adequately; 2 McCarthy’s Nagshall Walking In The Sun, 11 months pale red who looked the obvious winner on outline & size but lacked optimum body weight; 3 Oxley’s Dinkidax Goodsoul. JD (5) 1 Walters’ Ralines Just Ozzie, 13 months cream with some style. Good head profile but too strong in backskull, a little stuffy in neck. Well covered body, too short in ribcage, moved smartly with good tail carriage; 2 Barnsdale & Hayward-Barnsdale’s Chriskims Dreamcaster, 13 months b/t who could have won had he been more enthusiastic on the move. Better head than 1, but didn’t use his tail & looked rather miserable. Makes a very pleasing picture standing, but short in rib; 3 King’s Doujac Rufus by Kingsdax. PGD (7) 1 McCarthy’s Nagshall Oklahoma Sunrise, light red with attractive head & good general shape, short in rib. Needs more body weight, but moved smartly; 2 Holden’s Sengepabu Ares, choc/t who tipped the scales but was well covered & made a pleasing picture in body. Rather unbalanced head. Excellent topline, moved steadily; 3 Oxley’s Dinkidax Jack Flash. LD (4) 1 Holmes’ Tammera Touch Of Class, high quality red, small but well boned & bodied in fact what a Min should be. Elegant head & neck, beautifully balanced outline, stands well on his legs & is unusually sound behind with longer ribcage than most, moves with style, reach & drive. Stood out for CC & then BOB over his litter sister; 2 Fsadni’s Rugosa Saint Barnabas, shaded/cr of excellent type, very well put together apart from the inevitable short ribcage. Good head type, just not the neck or deportment of 1; 3 Cawley & King’s Summerview Make Way For Roo. OD (4) 1 Young’s Ch Willowheath Hendrix, stylish b/t with lots of type & good to go over, quality head, very well covered, moves soundly & smartly. Could have longer ribcage. RCC; 2 Brooks’ Ch Lyndarlea Rafferty, cream of good overall type, quite well bodied but short in ribcage. Preferred head & neck of 1, but he moves steadily & with some presence; 3 Barnsdale & Hayward-Barnsdale’s Chriskims Blaze Of Light.
MPB (7) 1 Halsall’s Kiddles Brittania, beautifully constructed 8 months red who really impressed with her balance, size, substance & overall quality, loved everything about her outline – she actually had a longer ribcage than some of the males – so rare to find such sound hindquarters in one so young, even her coat is top quality. Could just have more typical eye & expression; 2 Poole’s Findowrie Darcia Rose, 7 months red who pushed hard, beautifully put together, excellent head type though the cowlick can be off putting at first. Beautifully bodied with excellent topline & hindquarters; 3 Muggleton’s Doujac Blossom. PB (4) 1 Brooks’ Lyndarlea Thumbalina, 9 months b/t with great style & presence, lovely size & shape, well covered if a little short in rib. Quality coat, makes the best of herself on the move. Just needs to firm up behind; 2 Turner’s Rafthouse Eye Tension, 10 months b/t, longer cast than 1 which may be why she is weaker in topline on the move. Beautiful head & expression, well boned & bodied but lower to ground than 1 & didn’t have her carriage as she tended to poke on the move; 3 Kendrick’s Barok Indianna Belle. JB (7) 1 Barnsdale & Hayward-Barnsdale’s Chriskims Dream Catcher, 13 months cream who really impressed me on the table with her lovely head & expression, elegant neck, copybook construction, she actually has some length of ribcage, moves so soundly. Could just use her tail more on the move; 2 Young’s Willowheath Lulu, 12 months b/t who looked at her best going round, good head type if a shade full in eye. Good basic construction, but just needs a little more covering. Set up has a classic outline; 3 McCarthy’s Nagshall The Power Of Love. PGB (14) An excellent class. 1 Jury’s Torwood High On Ice, very nicely put together b/t, small but well boned & covered with a nicely balanced head, stands so well on her legs, moves soundly & holds her outline well, nothing flashy about her but she is so correct in so many ways; 2 Hall’s Cliffmere Special Edition, shaded/r who catches the eye with a look go quality & excellent overall balance, pretty head, firm topline, quite well ribbed. Not as firm in hindquarters, but still moved smartly; 3 Welton’s Chelane Chrissell. LB (8) 1 Holme’s Tamemra Jest Elegant, very elegant red in pristine condition, beautifully balanced head with kind expression, good length of neck & front angulation, well ribbed & bodied, nicely let down behind, moves with style & accuracy, ample ground clearance. CC & matched the dog well which is hardly surprised as he was her litter brother & just a little more finish; 2 Mourton’s Dinkidudlor Isha Aurog at Eldmour, sound moving red with head appeal, good overall construction, holds her outline well. Not quite the elegance & neck of 1; 3 McCarthy’s Nagshall Puppet On A String. OB (7) 1 Stephani & Fletcher’s Torwood Guns N’ Roses at Walnutfarm, nicely balanced red of quality, feminine head, good bone & body for her size, moves soundly & holds her outline well. Looks at her best when moving as on the stack she tends to fidget & her handler gets anxious. One to persevere with. RCC; 2 Brown’s Devoncream Golden Flair, quality red who pushed hard, equally well conditioned. Just not the tailset of 1. Balanced head, good neck, firm topline. Could have a little more length of ribcage; 3 Mee’s Barlaines Summer Star.
