Miniature Long Haired DACHSHUND: MPD
(1) 1 Brooks' Lyndarlea Rustic 6, just over the 6 months but I found him quite
charming. Lovely head shape, eyes a good size and shape and dark in colour
which enhance his expression. He is well ribbed, is fairly short in loin, has
just about enough neck and excels in bend of stifle. Well boned, he moved out
with a light, free stride. I'm sure can do well. BP (4) 1 BP &
RCC Brown's Garbosa Garfield, what a lovely make and shape this handsome headed
youngster is. His outline flows from a decently arched neck, level back above
well sprung ribs, smooth croup line to a well set and carried tail. He is so
well boned, good upper arm length and his side action shows reach and drive. On
the stack he looks very classy and stylish and I'm sure his future is very
bright. 2 Shutt's Donnydax Secret Dream of Donnadoon this well coated cream is
slightly heavier in head and as yet he lacks the assurance to project himself
as well as the winner. Nice outline, has a decent neck but could use it better,
well weighted bone, well ribbed, ample bend of stifle and although not giving
of his best when fore viewed, he did look so much better in profile. Coat not
at it's best but he hads a degree of style. 3 Oxley's Willott Mister Breeze.
JD (2) 1 Brooks' Lyndarlea Latte this chocolate scores in
balanced proportions. His well sprung ribs carry well back to a moderately
short loin, he is well angulated both ends, his backline is firm and his
profile action is so balanced. His head could be a trifle longer for me, but
the proportions are even, his eyes are quite delightful and he was in good
body. 2 Mee's Baralaine's Star Time this red is quite different in type. Well
shaped head though eyes are a bit on the full side for me. Excellent mouth and
ears, reachy neck, ribs could carry back more to balance the loin which is over
long for me. His topline takes the eye, smooth and clean cut. At present he is
a little unsure of himself on the table which draws attention to his eye size.
Once relaxed he will look much better. PGD (2) 1 Hallett's
Donnadoon Shadow Phantom Cum Loretto, I'm sure this very handsomely headed dog
will do well. I liked his size, balanced shaped, excellent angles and that
reach of neck. He is well ribbed, supple loin and so well muscled hindquarters.
Spotless in presentation, he played his handler up at time on the move,
determined to keep one pace ahead and looking up at her. But that will be a
phase and I would think he has all the potential to be CC winner. 2 Oxley's
Dinkidax Jack Flash lots to admire in this b/t. He was in sparkling coat and
body. Pleasing head shape, eye shade large for me but it is dark and his ears
are lovely. Lovely ribbing, short in loin and excellent bend of stifle. On the
move he showed good reach and extension. On the stack I felt the winner had the
edge in reach of neck and in expression. LD (9,1) 1 & CC
Wilson's Dinkidax Wild Thing of Willott, b/t with lots of charm. Loved his size
and balanced outline. Excels in neck and fore assembly, level backline, low set
tail, really good bend of stifle and his action was sound and light as he
circled the ring. His head handled so well, decent length, not overdone in
skull, no discernible stop, strong muzzle and good jaw line. He shone with well
being and his driving action earned him the CC. I believe his 2nd such award. 2
Brooks' Lyndarlea Rafferty rather a nice shaded cream which shows a clean pair
of heels as he moves around the ring. His head is lovely, the eyes a good shape
and so dark, enough arch to his neck, clean throated and so well boned. His
backline is level and firm and on the stack he has an air of class about him.
I'm sure these two can change places at times. 3 Barrow's Zarcrest Dancing On
Ice to Frankanwen. OD (6,1) I thought this a disappointing
class. 1 Locket-Walters' Ralines Here Comes the Sun. I thought this red was a
comfortable winner. Well bodied, in super coat, excellent reach of neck, good
rump and hindquarters. Moved out soundly and held his shape in profile. I felt
those I put over him the challenge had the edge in head length and balance. 2
Charnley's Northnook Rafferty this b/t won this placing on the quality of his
head. Decent length, certainly conical in shape. Lovely eyes for size, shape
and colour. On the stack he is shapely, though perhaps a trifle more length of
neck would complete the picture. He is well ribbed and they carry well back.
Though sound out and back, I felt he could have had a little more drive as he
went around the ring. 3 Mee's Baralaine's Golden Striker. MPB
(1) 1 Kennedy's Denkena's Miss Bootylicious a real baby b/c who was a little
uncertain of just what was expected of her. Once steadied on the table, she
showed lots of qualities - I liked her head shape, well placed ears, dark eyes
and well filled foreface. She has a decent neck, is well bodied and has good
bone. Coat gleamed with well being and I'm sure once she gains self confidence
and settles on the move, she will have better days. PB (4,1) 1
& BPB Wilson's Willott Dancing Diva, quite a charmer which has an air of
quality about her. Ultra feminine yet ample substance, beautiful headpiece,
lovely expression, solid little body and already an accomplished mover. She
shone with much TLC and once into her stride she was so positive. She loved
going in one direction, but less keen on the other. I see she is a daughter of
the DCC winner and she is a good advert for him. 2 Brooks' Lyndarlea Choc Dolly
another promising baby, again lots of substance yet essentially feminine. I
liked her head length, lovely chin finish, skull just slightly rounded and her
eyes and bright and expressive. Scored in forechest and she moved around the
ring with a degree of style. Close up. 3 Hellens' Kayzdax Lady Lara. JB
(4) 1 Kennedy's Denkena's Black Swan & 2 Graham's Jadag Felicity Fornton both
b/t and little to separate them. Similar in make and shape, they both have
pleasing headpieces. The winner had more appeal in outoline as she has a better
reach of neck and is a tad cleaner in throat. The second came into her own in
profile action where she is fleet of feet, reaches well forward and keeps her
shape. Both well presented. 3 Drady's Jumanda Silver Sparkle at Indiko.
PGB (7,1) 1 Bell's Tolberg Holly's New Edition ShCM, I see like the
DCC winner she is by Ch Wildstar Renowned. I liked this b/t a lot. She is such
a beautiful shape, uses that reach of neck to advantage, her head is clean cut,
so balanced, beautiful eyes and she was in excellent jacket. Scores in outline,
finishing with a decent let down hock and her profile action showed a balanced,
even striding action. 2 Kennedy's Denkena's Lady Goo Goo this is a pleasing red
but not quite the head length of the winner. She has a lovely ribcage, is
pretty short in loin and has good angles both ends. In lovely body and coat and
in stance she has appeal. Not quite the opositive front of the winner. 3 Mee's
Barlaine's Black Princess. LB (10,3) 1 & Res Tolberg Holly's
Little Tilly ShCM, I see she shares her dam with the PGB winner. I really did
like this bitch and think she has all the attributes to become a Champion.
Feminine, stunning headpiece, excellent reach of neck, clean fronted, level
back, so muscled aft and stands on well padded feet. In good coat, she ticked
most of the boxes when stacked. She is basically sound, but I feel if she could
just put a bit more oomph into her action it would assist her cause
considerably. 2 Cooper's Jumanda's Silver Moonlight JW what a really attractive
bitch this dapple is. Loved her outline, uses her neck so well, sternum well
developed, ribs carry well back and her underline is so good to handle. Her
head is full of quality and she was in excellent bloom. If she can be persuaded
just to settle in backline on the move, she could be knocking at the CC door. 3
Kennedy's Denkena's Blae Berry. OB (5,1) 1, CC & BOB Brown's
Ch Garbosa Chocolate Vogue. Quite outstanding and looks every inch the
titleholder she is. She is so correctly made, lovely arched neck, good layback
in shoulders, well ribbed, not overdone in loin, terrific hind angulation and
once she takes off around the ring, she floors the opposition. More than happy
to add to her laurels - I believe she has only recently returned to the ring
after maternal duties. 2 Jamieson's Djeata Cosmopolitan lots to like in this
pretty headed b/t. No doubting her sex, lovely eyes for size and shape, enough
neck, lovely ribbing and clean cut outline. She is quite sound but on the go
around I felt she could have just had a little more zip to her action as I feel
with that construction she could drive more behind. 3 Mee's Barlaine's Dark
Delight.
