Thank you to the exhibits for
their entries, the atmosphere at the show was very pleasant; the weather could
have held for us to be outside and it was a pleasure to have had some lovely
quality dogs to go over.
Presentation on some could have been better, dirty teeth, long nails, some had
flat feet that roadwork could have helped. There is always room for improvements
on bite, Pigments, shoulders and hind quarters, some of the dogs were deceiving
until hands on, and I found that some were longer in the loin and the conical
head was few and far between, but the majority today were of good quality. I
found that bitches were far better than the dogs, and there’s some lovely
promising youngsters coming through, on the whole it was very nice to have hands
on some good quality, no problems with temperaments and I thoroughly enjoyed my
appointment.
MINI LONGS
PD (1)
1st Mrs Bell – Tolberg Super Ted, 8months old and has a lot of time on his side,
he still needs to tighten in and mature, lovely head with good depth of muzzle &
correct scissor bite, correct ear set, enough reach of neck into his front
construction, good depth of keel and well sprung ribbing carried back, I’d like
more to his rear, just enough turn of stifle, lost topline on the move slightly
but he showed well. BPD
JD (3)
1st Ms Brooks – Ralines Romeo at Lyndarlea, nicely balanced still very immature,
masculine head with enough depth of muzzle, correct scissor bite, ears set
correctly, I’d like a little more neck length, his shoulders still need to
tighten and his front to develop and drop through, flat feet which roadwork
could help. Had enough body with well sprung ribbing carried back, sound hammy
rear, kept topline on the move.
2nd Mrs M Shutt – Donnadoon Boo Gee Woogy, not as good in front than winner but
similar remarks apply, had better feet, he needs to settle on the move and
mature.
3rd Miss Li Al-Bazi – Phylcher’s Secret Formular. Another nice boy, preferred
the front and rear on winner to this boy, but he enjoyed his day out, moved and
showed well.
ND (1)
1st Mrs Bell – Tolberg Super Ted. Was winner of puppy.
PGD (2)
1st Mrs Banham – Alanea Mini Cooper, more mature in his class & more settled on
the move. Both dogs could have been either way as they were both lovely to go
over. Nice masculine head, dark eyes, enough depth to muzzle, correct scissor
bite, reach of neck into reasonable front construction, good depth to keel,
ribbing carried back, kept topline on move, had better let down onto hocks than
2nd.
2nd Mrs Paterson – Wilmaranna Bond Junior, similar remarks as winner, needs to
settle on the move as lost out to winner on this and his rear. Still very
pleasing to go over.
LD (5)
1st Miss Kennedy – Denkena’s Solar Storm, lovely compact boy, nice quality, gd
head with enough depth to his muzzle, correct scissor bite, ears set obliquely
with lovely reach of neck, gd front assembly with enough depth to keel and well
sprung ribbing, nice tight feet, strong loin and hammy hind quarters. Had the
best front construction in his class and moved well. RDCC
2nd Miss Bedford – Dinkidudlor Jankay Tooray, similar to winner, could have been
either way, preferred the front on winner to this boy but still a very nice boy
to go over.
3rd Mrs Paterson - Wilmaranna Bond Junior
OD (7)
A very nice class of quality was nit picking between the first three.
1st Mr Wood – Ch Wildstar Wrenowned JW, well a worthy champion, just flows round
the ring, elegant ring presence and defiant carriage. Lovely masculine head,
nice depth to his muzzle with correct scissor bite, nice tight feet and good
presentation. Lovely reach of neck, ears set obliquely, correct shoulder lay,
good prominent breastbone, enough depth to his keel, well sprung ribbing carried
back into strong loin and sound hind quarters used with good extension and
drive. DCC & BOB
2nd Mrs Graham – Jadag Heir Apparent, again another nice quality dog, a little
longer in loin but similar remarks as winner apply. Just preferred the front
movement on winner today.
3rd Miss Bedford – Simply Splendid of Dinkidudlor, again another nice boy to go
over.
PB (6)
This was a super class of quality, some lovely youngsters which will have a
bright future.
1st Lockett-Walters & Walters – Ralines Popping Kandi, a little star, everything
I was looking for, still a baby with lots of time on her side, today was more
together than other classmates and moved effortlessly round the ring. Easy
champion in the making. Lovely feminine head, correct scissor bite, correct
front, still needs to tighten in and drop through but its all there, lovely
reach of neck, very elegant, well sprung ribbing carried back, sound loin and
lovely angulated rear used with drive for her age. BCC
2nd Mr, Mrs & Mr Rowell – Tolberg Tia Drop at Emmajesk, another nice bitch, more
mature than winner, just preferred front construction on winner, great mover,
lovely to go over.
3rd Miss Bedford – Eldmour Love In The Mist of Dinkidudlor, very similar to
winner just lost out as needs to settle on the move, time on her side.
JB (3)
Another nice class
1st Mr Wood – Jumanda’s Replica of Wildstar, won this class on maturity as the
other two were still very raw, again lovely head with strong jaw & correct
scissor bite, ears set obliquely, nice reach of neck, good front and depth to
keel, tight feet, her ribbing was carried right back into strong loin, sound
hind quarters which she used well, being critical would like a little more turn
of stifle.
2nd Ms Brooks – Hanishan Eezzy Magic at Lyndarlea, very nice but very raw has
time on her side, should be very late junior age before coming together, both
her and her sister placed 3rd will be either way in their classes as they are
both very nice to go over.
3rd Miss Woodvine-Shone – Hanishan Little Red Madam, as I said for her sister,
but once matured will probably be beating her sister as has better front. Very
nice to go over.
NB (2)
1st Mrs & Miss Kennedy – Denkena’s Miss Booty Shakin, very nice compact & very
pleasing to go over, had better ribbing than 2nd. Lovely head and strong scissor
bite, ears set correctly, enough reach of neck, good front construction, not too
deep in keel, ribbing carried well back, strong loin, good hind quarters. Moved
well.
2nd Mrs Laird – Flavian Circe, very happy girl enjoying her jaunt out, nice to
go over, lost out to winner as she lacked enough rib length and turn of stifle
in her quarters. Moved and showed very well.
PGB (3)
1st Kennedy – Denkena’s Booty Licious, nicely balanced bitch, nice head and
strong scissor bite, ears set correctly, enough reach of neck into good front
construction, again not too deep in keel, ribbing carried well back, strong
loin, good hind quarters. Kept topline on the move, moved & showed well.
2nd Mrs Heister – Polinard Mindy The Minx, feminine head, nice depth to muzzle
and scissor bite, ears set correctly, nice reach of neck, I’d like better front
construction, not too deep in keel, ribbing carried well back into loin, good
hind quarters. Moved well
LB (6-1)
Lovely class of quality, first two were of similar type.
1st Lockett-Walters & Walters – Ralines Diamond Cluster, very nice bitch, all in
the right place, flowed round the ring, had better front than of 2nd, Lovely
feminine head, nice depth to muzzle with correct scissor bite, nice tight feet
and good presentation. Lovely reach of neck, ears set obliquely, correct
shoulder lay, good prominent breastbone, enough depth to keel, well sprung
ribbing carried back into strong loin and sound hind quarters used with drive.
RBCC
2nd Mr Wood _ Jumanda’s Replica of Wildstar (winner of Jr class).
3rd Kennedy – Denkena’s Black Swan
OB (8)
A hard class as it could have been any way the first three.
1st Mrs Bell – Tolberg Holly’s Little Tilly Shcm, best mover overall in this
class, lovely to go over, I’d like a slightly better turn to her stifle and a
little more let down onto hocks.
2nd Mrs Shutt – Longort Cassi Royale of Donadoon (imp), another nice girl,
preferred the shoulder lay and fron’t movement on winner. Was a very nice girl
to go over, just needs to settle on movement, handler need to stop fidgeting.
3rd Mrs Mourton – Dinkidudlor Isha at Eldmour.
