I enjoyed judging these today. Most were in great
condition. I felt most lacked length of neck making a lot look stuffy. Rear
movement tended to be better than front movement, all were the correct weight,
whilst all shown in good body condition. Temperaments on the dogs and
exhibitors was friendly!
MPD(3, 1) 1 Bell's Tolberg Super Ted. Black and cream who has a very
good shape, most pleasing head, good firm topline, sound and powerful rear,
shown in great condition and well handled on the move. BP. 2 Drady's Tolberg
Paddy Guinness At Indiko. Litter brother to above, good balance to shape, a bit
rangier and very raw compared to above, pleasing type and sound.
PD(1) 1 Drady's Tolberg Paddy Guinness At Indiko.
JD(2, 1) 1 Shutt's Donnadoon Boo Gee Woogy. Cream with excellent
pigment and the darkest of eyes, liked his head and expression, a very sound
mover, but he had lost his verve by the time he had to chalalenge.
LD(5, 1) 1 Bedford's Dinkidudlor Jankay Tooray. Good type, needs more
neck, good head and expression, prominent keel, firm topline and overall shape
with clean outline, moved well. 2 Graham's Jadag Heir Apparent. Chocolate
dapple, leggier and longer than above, great shape on the table, and he kept
this on the move, in great show condition. 3 Johnson's Charpurdy's Gold McNugget.
OD(4) 1 Brown's Garbosa Garfield. Brindle boy who commands the ring
with his arrogant air about him, pleasing head strength of jaw, sound front and
good shoulders, topline correct at all times, the best mover here today, sound
fore and aft. CC and BOB, his second. Title should easily come. Very well
handled. 2 Bedford's Garbosa Simply Splendid Of Dinkidudlor. Chocolate and tan
who I really admired. His balance and overall shape is very good, liked his
ribbing, topline and very sound rear, moves well, just not the arrogance of the
snooty dog above, but very close. Res CC. 3 Brooks' Ch Lyndarlea Raferty JW.
MPB(1) 1 Rowell's Tolberg Tia Drop At Emmajesk. Black and cream baby,
sister to the puppy dog, a really good litter. We shall hear of these
youngsters in the future. Outline and correct balance is very pleasing, in
great condition and coat.
PB(5) 1 Johnson's Dandydayo Silent Nite At Charpurdy. Liked this red a
lot with her great shape, dark eyes, topline and keel, good feet and ribbing,
her quarters are strong and sound, giving her freedom in movement. 2 McGavigan
&Pettigrew's Walpines Peel To Pettigans. Black and tan who is similar make,
shape as above, needs more neck, shown in good body and firm condition, another
good mover. 3 Bedford's Eldmour Love In The Mist Of Dinkidudlor.
JB(1) 1 Brooks' Hanishan Eezzy Magic Nite At Lyndarlea. Red puppy of
great shape and presence, good sound front, topline and tail, freedom in
movement keeping her outline, liked her a lot, most promising future, lost a
bit of sparkle in the challenge for BP.
PGB(5) 1 Kennedy's Denkena's Miss Booty Licious. Black and cream with
a pleasing outline and balance for correct shape, sound front and good
shoulders, she is so sound and free moving, handled well to show off her many
attributes. 2 Drady's Jumanda's Silver Sparkle At Indiko. Larger framed dapple
who is also eyecatching for balance and shape, she moved well, loved her
markings and she will definitely appeal to many judges. 3 Laird's Flavian
Circe.
LB(2)Not a very good class this one. 1 Brooks' Lyndarlea Thumbalina.
Won this class on her clean outline, topline level at all times, good firm
ribbing, sound quarters and straight parallel hocks, strong rear, moved well. 2
Kennedy's Denkena's Black Swan. Black and tan who does not have the flow of
structure of above, she stands higher on rear end spoiling her topline, shown
in great condition and coat.
OB(9) 1 Metcalfe's Ch Metadale Lallique. This fully coated red has a
classic shape, firm topline, good neck, shoulders and sound rear, she can move
a little wide in front with her enthusiasm which cost her BOB, a real quality
champion, was pleased to award another CC to her list. 2 Kerslake's Devonwood
Lady Alexandra. Close up on winner, this quality black andtan who again has the
most pleasing of outlines, being totally balanced from all angles, shown in tip
top condition and well handled. 3 Mourton's Dinkidudlor Isha Aurog At Eldmour.
