My thanks to the exhibitors for their entries & sporting applauding of class winners. Thanks also to my very efficient stewards.
The ring was large enough for the dogs to be able to show themselves to best advantage. There was however a lot of noise from dogs waiting to be exhibited & this was disconcerting to some youngsters.
Mouths were all very good with clean teeth. Some feet could have done with more trimming. Coats & presentation were mostly excellent.
VD (0). MPD (5,1a) 1 Harris’ Zarcrest Frozen Assets, 7 months cream, Classic head with dark eyes, strong neck into well placed shoulders, firm body of correct depth with good ribbing & short loin. Well angulated rear. Moved confidently for one so young; 2 Ham’s Zarcrest Fixed Assets, litter brother to 1 with similar attributes. Just preferred the head of 1; 3 Shutt’s Donnadoon Sunset. PD (5) 1 Lockett-Walters & Walters’ Ralines One Of Those, balanced cream youngster. Correct head with dark eyes & good pigment, Strong neck into well placed shoulders, Ribbing well back, firm loin. Moved confidently driving from a well angulated rear. BPD; 2 Ham’s Zarcrest Fixed Assets; 3 Woodage & Hassall’s Totonian Dolore. JD (2,1) 1 McCarthy’s Nagshall Mr Tambourine Man, sh/cream, well off for bone & body. Pleasing head. Moved out steadily keeping a good topline. In good coat. PGD (4) 1 Latham-Jackson’s Criscan Leonel of Urishay, masculine, balanced red. Classic head with dark eyes, strong neck into well placed shoulders, Pronounced forechest, tight elbows, long ribbing. Strong, well angulated rear. Moved with drive & confidence; 2 Cooper’s Jumandas Renaissance, sound b/t. Very nice head & a good reach of neck. Good ribbing & loin proportions. Moved with drive & purpose; 3 Green’s Neertanauf Jack Jones. LD (5,1) 1 Broad’s Neertanauf Sea Magic, sh/r, houndy head, dark eye & haughty expression Good reach of neck with well placed shoulders & tight elbows. Good depth of keel & length of ribbing. In excellent coat. Presented a good outline both stacked & on the move; 2 McCarthy’s Nagshall Just Santana, masculine cream, nice head & dark eye, Strong neck, good ribbing. Good outline on the move; 3 Woodall’s Half Century at Rarewood. OD (5,1) 1 CC, Geeson’s Ch Abydachs Aniseed, handsome top quality Sh/cream. Of good proportions, in super coat & condition. Classic refined head. Well constructed front, correct angulated hindquarters. Moved out with ease & drive keeping a good topline. This was a super class of quality dogs; 2 RCC, Walters’ Ch Ralines Just Ozzie, eye catching cream, masculine head, dark eye. Good length of neck with well laid shoulders, super front assembly, well angulated strong rear. Effortless movement keeping a firm topline; 3 Graham’s Ch Jadag Heir Apparent.
VB (3,1) 1 BV, Brooks’ Lyndarlea Lacey, b/t of 9 years. Lovely head, dark kind eye, in good coat & condition. Well made bone & body, still moves with drive & enthusiasm; 2 Green’s Eldmour Electra, sh/r of 7 years. Pretty head, well made body. MPB (5,2) 1 BPB & BP, Worswick’s Dolyharp Coppelia, lovely 7 months cream quality baby. Beautiful head with the darkest of eyes & the naughtiest of expressions. Arched neck into well laid shoulders, Good front, ribbing & rear. Showed her heart out moving with drive & style; 2 McLachlan’s Zarcrest Chillin Effects, very attractive 7 months quality cream youngster. Nicely balanced of good proportions. Not happy with all the surrounding noise. Will do much better with a bit more experience; 3 Stevens’ Lowdowndog Captain Ruby. PB (2) 1 Brooks’ Lyndarlea Little Pearl, very pretty cream. Lovely type & size, balanced with a good coat. Moved out confidently keeping a firm topline; 2 McCarthy’s Nagshall Lorelai, sh/cream. Pleasing head. Good front, ribbing & topline. Well turned hindquarters & a good coat. Moved out & back steadily. JB (5,2) 1 Edwards’ Barok Honey Bea, smart sh/r. Lovely head & expression. Clean neck & shoulders, strong quarters front & rear. Good depth of keel & not over long in loin. Moved soundly; 2 McCarthy’s Nagshall Just So, cream of a good size with a good body & ribbing, short loin, good rear angulation. Not to drive of 1 on the move; 3 Norris’ Criscan Missmia. PGB (11,4) 1 Johnson’s Charpurdy Just Willow, very feminine b/t. Beautiful head & expression with the darkest of eyes. Good front assembly, depth of keel & ribbing well back. Well angulated rear. Moving she presented a good overall picture. Held her own in a strong class; 2 Graham’s Jadag Fancy That, elegant b/t of a good size with a lovely head & eye, good body & ribbing, short loin, good rear angulation. Kept a firm topline when moving; 3 Welton’s Eldmour Heaven Sent to Chelane. LB (13,2) 1 RCC, Brooks’ Hanishan Eezzy Magic Nite at Lyndarlea, stylish sh/r with a lovely head. Clean well laid shoulders & prominent forechest. Good length of ribbing & depth of keel. Firm loin strong well angulated rear. In super coat & condition. Sound movement coming & going, lovely in profile; 2 Worswick’s Dolyharp Bitter Sweet, glamorous rich red. Beautiful conical head & kind eye. Good reach of neck. Of good overall proportions. Well angulated rear, In lovely coat & condition. Free & easy movement; 3 Norris’ Criscan Khasia. OB (11,2) 1 CC & BOB, Lockett-Walters & Walters’ Ch Ralines Diamond Cluster, a quality, elegant b/cr. I have admired her from ringside & was not disappointed to find super overall conformation & balance. Arched neck into well laid shoulders, prominent forechest, ribbing well back, short firm loin. Moved with drive from a well angulated rear. Beautifully handled & presented. A gleaming coat in excellent condition completed the picture. A super class with some fabulous bitches; 2 Johnson’s Dandydayo Silent Nite at Charpurdy, attractive red with a lovely head & eye. Good reach of neck & front assembly. Ribbing carried well back. Lovely profile moved easily & true. Beautifully presented in good coat; 3 Holmes’ Tamara Just Elegant.
