This was my first time giving CC’s in this variety and I
felt that whilst there were some
quality exhibits this did not continue throughout the breed. I look for a true
hound, with a
touch of elegance, but not lacking in substance, that can move freely and in
many cases this
was not what was presented. I make no apology for constantly moving the dogs’ I
cannot
judge statues they are hounds after all. Feet on the whole were very poor which
is one of
my pet hates. Poor angulation in the rear meant that tummy tapping was more the
norm
than the unusual and very few had any drive. Lack of muscle tone was evident in
many
exhibits, more road work could help improve some of the above faults.
Presentation on the
whole was good but it is what’s underneath the coat that really counts, some
were
presented with dirty teeth which is unacceptable. I thought overall the quality
in the
bitches was greater than in the males.
MPD. 2. 1st Pooles Findowrie Mr Bumble. Very much the baby but with lots pf
promise.
Good breed type and best movement. 2nd Halls Cliffmere Patrick Sway Zee. Nice
puppy but
not so together on the move especially in hind movement.

presented and
moved out well.. Would prefer more pro sternum. 2nd Bedfords Dinkidudlor
Mandiknka
Myo. Good head and neck. Moved out ok. 3rd. Latham-Jacksons Dolyharp Purcell of
Urishay.

yet to fill out in front. 3rd. Broads Elmoor Sea Lord Of Dinkidudlor.
LD. 5 (2). 1st Brooks Lydarlea Just Andy. Quality boy with lovely overall
balance. True
houndy head with dark pigmentation flowing into elegant neck and correct topline
held
both standing and moving. Strong quarters used to advantage presenting elegant
picture.
CC. 2nd. McCarthys Justintime. Again good head and pigment. Moved out well. Not
the long
ribcage of winner and feet could improve. 3rd. Greens Nertanauf Jack Jones.
OD. 5(2). 1stMcCarthys Nagshall Just Santana JW. Another nicely balanced dog
from this
kennel. Good overall type. 2nd. Norton’s Katerinapark Zorina (imp Rus).

immature and needing time. 3rd.Latham Jacksons Criscan Pound Foolish At Urishay.
PB. 4. 1st. Lockett-Walters and Walters Crisp Fall Night At Ralines. Lovely
puppy with so
much to like. Beautiful head flowing into good layback of shoulder and length of
upper arm.
Correct size with good substance and well presented. Excellent structure meant
she
actually drove round the ring with some purpose. Has some maturing to do but
immaturity
is not a fault in a puppy.B.P. and Res CC. 2nd.McCarthys Nagshell Christobel.
Again nice
puppy with much to like. Lacked the confidence and purposeful movement of class
winner.
3rd.Brooks Lyndarlea Speckled Hen.
