Numerically this was a good entry, and some
exhibitors entered quite a few dogs, for which I am grateful. Sadly I
felt it necessary to withhold some awards. We do have a desired weight
limit and we do weigh the dogs. Quite a few were slightly over, which
did not bother me at all. However significantly too big and also rather
thin meant I could not award a prize. Bitches were better than the dogs.
A few mouths that were not quite right. Narrow fronts, short necks and
bad feet remain an issue sadly. My BOB I thought was a Dachshund with a
long coat, very interesting to see her breeding later. On a positive
note pigmentation was largely excellent, and encouraging that there were
some very good youngsters.

better head. Dark eyes. Ok for neck. Feet and pasterns a little slack
now. Well ribbed. Level topline. Well made rear. Moved v well. BV

too is well proportioned. Fem in head with dark eyes. Ok neck. She too
is a little slack in her feet now. Super spring of rib. Low hocks. V
good moving away, just a little untidy in front.

Liked his proportions. Lengthy head, eyes a bit small. Feet quite good
and a fairly well made front, although a little untidy coming towards.
Well sprung ribs. Ok rear. Still in puppy coat with is a bit curly.

has a really super head and great pigment. Long neck with a well laid
shoulder. Nice feet. Well bodied. Could have more slope to croup and
lower hocks. Mover quite well.

He has a v good outline, which he holds on the move.
Liked his head, dark eyes, super pigment. Enough neck. Elbows could be
tighter and he is over crooked in front. Well bodied with lengthy
ribbing. Hocks are high and can generally firm up in the rear.

Top end of puppy, he is so correctly proportioned.
Really good to go over. He has a super head. Medium length of neck. Well
laid shoulders, long upper arm. Super feet. Could be longer in rib.
Level topline. V good rear with low hocks. Lifted his front feet up
higher than I would like. Uses his rear v well. CC

over coated but a v nice Dachshund underneath. He has a good head.
Lengthy neck. Could be better in pastern and feet. Well bodied, correct
ground clearance. Level topline. Well made rear.
