I would like to thank the officers and committee for inviting me to judge at one of my favourite shows of the year. The setting of Ripon racecourse is delightful. I am still finding poor pigmentation, coats were presented in a clean condition but attention to toe nails and teeth would finish the exhibits off.

MPD (1) 1 Oxley's Lokmadi Rio Bravo at Dinkidax. Lovely shaded cream baby pleasing head neck and front moved out well using his hindquarters. Keeps a good outline at all times. Well handled to get the best out of him. Should hit the high spots when he matures.

JD (5,1) 1 Hall's Cliffmere Folk Art. Mature shaded red lovely head piece. Correct well filled front. Excellent shoulders moved out well keeping a good outline, moved with great style, pleased to award him the RCC. 2 Hutton & Hutton's Natalie Victory Asmik To Dachalune (Imp). Silver dapple classic head neat front, correct hindquarters, moved with purpose. 3 Irvine's Bronia the Dutchman. PGD (1) 1 Hall's Cliffmere Patrick Sway Zee. Another quality male from this kennel. Masculine head without coarseness, correct front, well arched neck. Excellent topline which he held at all times.

LD (6,2) 1 Shutt's Stargazer Of Donnadoon. Black and cream that needs to relax pleasing head nice front, moved out well but needs to tighten in topline to finish the picture. 2 Peel's Boris Bear At Garbosa. Black and cream of smaller type to winner, a little full in eye for me, preferred the hindquarters of the winner. 3 Green's Neertanauf Jack Jones.

OD (7,2) 1 Harris & McLachlan's Zarcrest Black Smith. Black and tan true stallion male, superb head masculine without coarseness. Well arched neck, correct well placed shoulders, good spring of rib presented in super coat and condition, he comes into his own on the move keeping a classic outline, moved with style using his super hindquarters that gave thrust on the move. Delighted to award him the CC his 3rd. Congratulations. 2 Brooks' Obdax Lynn's Badger JW. Silver dapple with a classic head piece, well filled front, correct well placed shoulders. Keeps a good outline, well handled to get the best out of him. Preferred winner coming towards me. 3 Buchan & Kerslake's Devonwood Cracker Jack at Helenium JW ShCM.

VB (1) 1 Green's Eldmour Electra. 11 year old shaded red bitch enjoying her day out. Best Veteran. MPB (3) 1 Shutt's Donnadoon Starlight. Immature cream who has a lot to like about her, needs more confidence, moved with purpose keeping a good outline. 2 Pretty's Jaxrubydax Creamy Dream. Cream, not the quality of winner, pigmentation could be better. 3 Kasprowicz's Ada Aris At Daniello (Imp).

PB (3) 1 Dare's Larkhund Sofia. Black and Tan bitch. My notes say Wow she has it all. I would say one of the best I have judged for a long time. A classic head which very much reminded me of Ch Sunara Royal Charmer. She simply oozes quality from the tip of her nose to the end of her tail. prettiest of heads with wonderful expression text book front assembly and yes a forechest which is sadly missing. Correct well placed shoulders well sprung rib keeps a good outline at all times, I had no hesitation in awarding her BCC BOB BP and she made my day by winning the puppy group. Congratulations to her owner and breeder one I would have taken home in a heartbeat. 2 Oxley's Dinkidax Lily Grace. Immature bitch who needs time, bitch of a lovely type, moved out well. More coat would finish the picture. 3 Shutt's Donnadoon Moondust.

JB (5,1) 1 Bell's Tolberg Cream Treat ShCM JW. Shaded cream, best mover in the class, correct front, well placed shoulders, keeps a good outline on the move. Uses her quarters well. Well handled to get the best out of her. 2 Baker's Cliffmere Frollick. Smaller cream who has everything in the right place, needs more confidence to make her more settled and finish the picture. 3 Johnson's Charpurdy's Dandy Dutchess.

PGB (4) 1 Metcalfe's Metadale Ariadne. Lovely red, correct head and front, lovely quarters, well ribbed, keeps a good outline at all times, moved well. 2 Baker's Jentiki Candy Floss. Black and tan of lovely type carrying too much weight, moved out well. 3 Puff's Obdax Peppermint Patty.

LB (9,2) 2 quality bitches heading this class and I am sure will change places another day. 1 Brooks' Lyndarlea Vienna. Smart red bitch who has a correct head, well arched neck, correct filled front, super ribbing, moved with great style, presented in top class condition, moved out well, pleased to award her Res CC. 2 Allen's Penparc Creme Caramel. Very similar in type to my winner and the same remarks apply. When she has more coat she will look the finished article, a top class exhibit, well handled to get the best out of her. 3 Mee's Barlaine's Golden Delight.

OB (8,2) 1 Hall's Cliffmere Levity. Shaded cream, lovely head, well arched neck, super to go over, well arched neck, moved out well. Well handled to get the best out of her. 2 Johnson's Charpurdy Just Ification. Black and tan, a very elegant bitch, super type, lovely front, moved out ok. 3 Metcalfe's Metadale Aphrodite.
