Dachshund (Miniature Long-haired)

My thanks for such a good entry numerically. Such a variety of types. Teeth and nails, even in young dogs, needed attention in some exhibits.Presentation was of a high standard and temperaments wonderful. The puppy classes were very pleasing, good for the breed.

Lovely class of babies –one decided he was not going to show!!

1st DOLYHARP PUCCINI WITH GARBOSA (MRS L BROWN) – BPIB-BPD -a balanced hound; good head, reach of neck into well placed shoulders. Firm bodied, good topline, moved so well for a baby.

2nd ABYDACHS ARISTOCRAT (MR E & MRS C ALLEN) Close to 1. Just 6 months and really enjoying his day out; strong head, well placed shoulders. Good bone and tight feet. Moved with drive.

3rd NAGSHALL LOVE TO BE (MRS C MCCARTHY)

1st FINDOWRIE MR MCKENZIE (MRS M E POOLE)- beautifully presented boy. Balanced head and good eye. Ribbing long and loin short. Strong bone, tight feet, moved soundly.

2nd LOKMADI RIO BRAVO AT DINKIDAX (MRS M P OXLEY)Again close to 1.Well presented, strong body, topline kept on the move. Beautiful expressive eye. Well balanced.

3rd NAGSHALL LOVE TO BE (MRS C MCCARTHY)

1st SUMMERVIEW YOGI BEAR (MRS J & MR P PHILLIPS)- Good head and shoulders. Ribbing to loin correct; well bodied with strong bone. Good hind angulation. Moved out well.

2nd CLIFFMERE FOLK ART (MR D & MRS W HALL) being fidgety. Good head, elegant neck into well placed shoulders. Once settled he used hid rear angulation to produce sound movement.

3rd LYNDARLEA BRACKEN BOY AT JAXRUBYDAX (MRS J PRETTY)

 A difficult class to separate

1st NAGSHALL JUST LUCAMAC JW (MRS C MCCARTHY)- good front into well placed shoulders; long ribbing. Took time to settle moving then moved out with drive.

2nd CLIFFMERE PATRICK SWAY ZEE (MR D & MRS W HALL)-unsettled to begin. Strong head with correct eye shape, good forechest, strong body, angulated rear used to good advantage.

3rd SILKDOWN SAMSON (MRS J A BREESE)

Differing types

1st FINDOWRIE MR BUMBLE (MRS M E POOLE) –again fidgety, the announcing system was very loud . Balanced head, good reach of neck . Firm body. Ribbing to loin and good rear angulation. Moved well when settled.

2nd DOLYHARP PURCELL OF URISHAY (MR P & MRS A LATHAM-JACKSON) Beautifully presented. Good forechest and long ribbing. Topline kept on the move. Good front reach.

3rd NAGSHALL JUSTINTIME JW (MRS C MCCARTHY)

What a class- gave me a headache!!

1st CH ZARCREST BLACK SMITH (MR&MISS HARRIS & MCLACHLAN)BOB DCC- Elegant hound, well presented and handled. Strong head, reach of neck, sound shoulders. Long ribbing, firm body into well angulated rear. Held his topline at all times and moved with drive.

2nd CH RALINES ROB ROY TO DENVER (MR R C & MRS S C ROBERTS) RCC – close to 1. Beautifully balanced hound. Strong head with a superb dark eye. Well placed shoulders, bodied body and good angulation/ Moved so true keeping hid topline.

3rd CH ZARCREST BLACK BREWER (MISS Z C BOYLE)

1st AMBYTH TALK OF THE TOWN (M BIRDSWORTH) Pretty baby with a lovely head and neck, well placed shoulders, height to length ratio correct. Moved out well keeping her topline.

2nd DOLYHARP MUSIC OF THE NIGHT (MRS C WORSWICK)- took a while to settle as she was enjoying herself so much. Head good with reach of neck. Well placed shoulders, so firm in body. Angulated rear and firm tight feet. Moved well.

3rd MAXWIN MARCELLA AT FINDOWRIE (MRS M E POOLE)

1st DINKIDAX LILY GRACE (MRS M P OXLEY)- Good head with dark eye. Well placed shoulders, good strong body into angulated rear. Moved so soundly for and aft.

2nd NAGSHALL LOVE CONSTANTLY (MRS C MCCARTHY) –Decided to behave well in this class ! Topline settled and held whilst standing, moved well.

3rd AMBYTH UP TOWN GIRL (M BIRDSWORTH)

1st RALINES GOOD TIDINGS (MRS R & MISS H LOCKETT-WALTERS & WALTERS) still immature but showing lots of promise. Pleasing head, good shoulders, strong neck into strong body, angulated rear. Moved with drive.

2nd DANDYDAYO I AM MOANA (MR A WHITFIELD-ROBERTS) Again close to 1 and same comments apply. Feet need to tighten.

Usually a difficult class but quality here today

1st RALINES HONEYCRISP (MRS R & MISS H LOCKETT-WALTERS & WALTERS) BCC – a well presented hound. Good head and eye; firm shoulders into strong body. Good rear angulation, tight feet. Kept a strong topline on the move.. Correct proportions. Flowed round the ring.

2nd METADALE ARIADNE (MRS B METCALFE)-RCC – again close to 1 –just preferred the overall balance .Two lovely girls who should have a bright future.

3rd AFRICANDAWNS JUST DIVINE (MR T L JOHNSON)

1st ABYDACHS AVADA KEDAVRA JW (MISS E H GEESON) –strong girl of excellent proportions. Proud head carriage, good front assembly and shoulder placement and body. Angulated rear with the tightest of feet, moved well

2nd PENPARC CREME CARAMEL (MR E ALLEN)-very pretty girl with good head. Front strong and firm; good ribbing to loin, used her angulated rear to advantage.

3rd HANISHAN EEZZY MAGIC NITE AT LYNDARLEA (MS L BROOKS)

3rd ELDMOUR KIWI KALILU OF DINKIDUDLOR (MISS L BEDFORD)

1st CRISCAN KHESIA (MRS J A NORRIS)-in excellent condition with lovely head and eye, strong body and kept her topline on the move.

2nd CH ABYDACHS ABSOLUTELY (MISS E H GEESON) –one I have always liked but having a “falsey” and did not move as she can. Beautifully presented.

3rd TORWOOD GUNS N'ROSES AT WALNUTFARM (MRS M A & MISS A C STEPHANI & FLETCHER)
