Thank you for a quality entry, there are some lovely exhibits, especially in the puppies. I have to say feet are still on the whole not that good, very flat and turned out, but I judge the whole dog, not just on one feature. It was unfortunate that the ring was not very good and that the ground was terribly uneven and the grass so long I almost could not see some dogs which is a shame, as it spoilt the look of some dogs.
MPD (4) 1 Harris & McLachlan’s Zarcrest Flash Gordon. Wow, what a stunning silver dapple puppy. Just 6 months, he had to give way to age and maturity in the challenge for puppy challenge, but this one is a star in the making. Beautiful head and expression and lovely dark eye. Well constructed and everything in the right place. Lovely angulation fore and aft. Super on the move keeping his topline. BPD. 2 Woodvine-Shone’s Hanishan Fire Cracker. Smart red boy. Lovely head and expression. Glorious rich red. Lovely shoulders and nicely constructed, good angulations fore and aft. 3 Pike & Carter’s Zarcrest Flash Harry At Breezelyn.
PD (4) 1 Broad’s Dinkidax Dionysus. Very sweet red boy, super on the move and keeping a good topline at all times. Nice shoulders and and good ribbing and hammy quarters which he used on the move. 2 Oxley’s Dinkidax Right On Cue. Cream boy with lovely pigmentations. Lovely angulation fore and aft, moved well. 3 Yates’ Lyndarlea Just Brian Of Irisdax.
JD (6, 1) 1 Poole’s Findowrie Mr McKenzie. Top quality junior boy that has lots of presence in the ring and pushed hard in the challenge. Lovely head and eye and soft expression, lengthy neck. Well placed shoulders. Good angles fore and aft. Lovely topline standing and moving. Really good mover and moves with drive and purpose, great bone too. 2 Weston & Johnson’s Ecotyne Devil’s Advocate. Smart compact black and tan. Nice head. Lovely spring of rib. Good hind angulation moved well. 3 Watkins’ Wildstar Wrosberg.
YD (4) 1 Weston & Johnson’s Ecotyne Devil’s Advocate. Second in junior dog. 2 Oxley’s Lokmadi Rio Bravo At Dinkidax. Pretty cream boy, little out of coat. Lovely head and eye. Nice length of neck. Well angulated fore and aft. 3 McCarthy’s Nagshall Love To Be.
GD (1) 1 McCarthy’s Nagshall Love To Be. Black and cream boy. Nice and head and eye. Moved okay think cold was affecting him not so good a topline on the move.
PGD (3) First and second very different types but both have lot to like about them. 1 Brown’s Dolyharp Puccini With Garbosa. Smart black/tan, well constucted and a little unsettled. As usual from this kennel presented to perfection. Dripping in coat. Lovely angles fore and aft, very smart mover. 2 Pitfield’s Luna Caprese D’oroed’Argento Of Follyfield (Imp Ita). Silver dapple boy correct head. Well constructed well forehand. Good spring of rib. Shorter in type than most, a lot to like about him, moved over the grass well as bit taller than first. Very good topline at all times. Perferred the type of first. 3 Pretty’s Lyndarlea Bracken Boy At Jaxrubydax.
LD (6) 1 Hall’s Cliffmere Folk Art. Real lovely red boy another of quality. Nice head and eye. Well constructed front and good ribbing. Super hind angulations which he used on the move. Kept super topline at all times. Great substance and all male. 2 Poole’s Findowrie Mr Bumble. Smaller, well constructed boy and but lovely. Just felt first was little bit more masculine. Moved well. 3 McCarthy’s Nagshall Just Lucamac JW ShCM.
OD (3) What a headache these first two gave me, both top drawer exhibits. Two I have loved from outside the ring and wasn’t disappointed by either. 1 Harris & McLachlan’s Ch/Sz/Dk Ch Zarcrest Black Smith W18, Alpensieger 2018. Fabulous real stallion looking black and tan boy. Beautiful head and eye. Lots of elegance, flowed from nose to tail without being exaggerated. Moved in the class like he owned it. Moved well covering the ground with ease and purpose. In for the BOB, he gave up and wasn’t giving like he had in the dog challenge, this cost him BOB today. Dog CC. 2 Wood’s Ch Wildstar Wrobinson JW. What a glorious red boy, really splitting hairs with these two, felt first was little bit more male looking but wished I had 2 CC’s here, he is real top drawer dog. He comes alive on the move, moving with great reach and drive, unfortunately in the long grass his legs were lost a little. He is one of the best constructed min longs in the entry and is an outstanding little boy. Res Dog CC. 3 McCarthy’s Nagshall Justintime.
VD (3) 1 Walters’ Ch Ralines Just Ozzie. One of my favourites and not lost it. Most beautiful dark pigmentation. super constructed and considering his age moved so well. Best Veteran. Had to give way to age in the challenge. 2 McCarthy’s Nagshall Just Santana JW ShCM. Nice compact cream boy, moved well. 3 Broad’s Neertanauf Sea Magic JW ShCM.
Sp Beginners D (2) 1 Yates’ Lyndarlea Just Brian Of Irisdax. Well presented dog well handled. Moved well. 2 Millington’s Hensel Vom Charlottenberg (Imp Deu).
MPB (5) 1 Oddie’s Ralines Lemon Drizzle For Riowood. Pretty cream bitch, looked a baby. Pretty feminine head and lovely expression. Well constructed front and back. Lovely ribbing. Really covers the ground, real attractive baby winning a class of three beautiful puppies. Should have a bright future. 2 Hall’s Cliffmere Woodlark. Another top drawer exhibit. Glorious rich red. Lovely head. Super shoulders lovely rounded hammy quarters. Moved so well. 3 Boyle’s Zarcrest Black Ink. Beautiful girl that threw her chances, but sure when she gets herself together will trouble the best.
PB (5, 2) 1 Whitfield-Roberts’ Minard Your Own Kind Of Music At Dandydayo. Litter sister to Res CC winner in junior and you can tell a real quality bitch. Lovely head and super forechest. Good ribbing. Lovely angulation fore and aft, moves with purpose. 2 Cunningham’s Ydale The Skye’s The Limit. Chocolate dapple. Pretty, but not the quality of first. Really enjoying herself. 3 Jury’s Torwood Galactic Secret.
JB (10, 1) 1 Goddard’s Minard Darque Angel. Wow, what a stunning black/tan girl, 10 months, but showing like a 2 year old with such presence. She demands the ring as soon as she walks in, and very close up for the CC, but I am sure she will be a great winner of many CCs as she gets older, she is just beautiful. Lovely head and beautiful made front. Good spring of rib and the best of hind angulation. A little cracker. Res CC and BPIB. 2 Woodvine-Shone’s Hanishan Stracciatella. Unlucky to come against first on such great form. As she is a very nice black/tan bitch.Well constructed fore and aft, moved well. 3 Siggee’s Ensigynes Fantasio.
YB (6) 1 Mitchell’s Bronia Witchcraft. Beautiful constructed red bitch. Sweet head. Lovely front and shoulders. Good spring of rib. Well rounded quarters which she used on the move and keeping her topline at all times. Lovely short hocks. A nice type. 2 Shutt’s Donnadoon Moondust. Nice black and cream. Very attractive head. Lovely angles. Super forechest, moved well keeping lovely outline at all times. Very elegant. 3 Birdsworth’s Ambyth Up Town Girl.
PGB (7, 1) 1 Mason’s Tolberg Beezs Kneez At Teckeltown. Pretty little red handled to perfection. Nice head and looks alert. Lovely neck flowing on well constructed front. Good rib and well let down hocks. Lovely little mover. 2 Whitfield-Roberts’ Dandydayo I Am Moana. Close descision on first and second. Pretty red. Lovely lay of shoulders, good ribbing. Well angulated fore and aft and moved well. A very nice girl. 3 McCarthy’s Nagshall Love Constantly JW.
LB (8, 2) 1 Lockett-Walters & Walters’ Ralines Good Tidings. I really loved this girl, so much substance but lower on the ground and with having long grass lost a bit of definition in the challenge but really love her type. A super moving girl and think her day will come, as pushed hard in the challenge. Pretty head. Good layback of shoulder. Great bone. Lovely length. Super angles fore and aft. 2 Dare’s Larkhund Sofia. Such a smart pretty little black and tan girl. So perfectly handled and presented. Well constructed fore and aft moved with purpose. 3 Metcalfe’s Metadale Ariadne.
OB (9, 1) Wow, what a class, many I could have awarded a CC to. 1 Giura’s Swiss Ch Rodels Magic Moonlight. Wow, what a pretty small shaded red girl, a little taller than some, but she is exquisite, the ground she could totally cope with it, and just strode out like a super model. Super coat, flat and correct with no wave and shining in the dull day. The most perfect head, conical, almond dark eye, so correct, this head is to me textbook and correct ear placement. Super elegant. Length neck, well constructed front and super feet. Drops down so correctly front and back. Best of toplines, enough bend of stifle. Stunning mover and keeping her topline at all times. Just loved her, CC her second hopefully her third will be just around the corner and Best of Breed, lovely to see she was shortlisted in a very strong Group. Handled to perfection. 2 Cohen’s Ralines Red Bouquet For Hutzpah. Super cream bitch, so showy and no disgrace coming second in this super class. She is so pretty in head. Well coated, super angulated front and back. Lovely hammy quarters she uses on the move and wonderful outline at all times. I am sure her time will come. 3 Hall’s Cliffmere Levity.
Sp Beginners B (2) 1 Mason’s Tolberg Beezs Kneez At Teckeltown. Best Special Beginner. 2 Millington’s Cunannun Just For Joy.
