I would like to thank Belfast dog show society for inviting me to judge the miniature long haired dachshund and the sporting exhibitors and the dogs who arrived in cold weather conditions to give me a fabulous entry both in quality and quantity. It was memorable for me to judge my first ever cc. Also thankful to all the judges who inspired and guided me to progress in my show career. Thanks to all the stewards who help me in the ring. The show ran like clockwork and there was a great atmosphere.

Junior Dog

1st: MCALPINE’s Lampcien Stud Muffin. Beautiful 13.5 Months old red dog with excellent head and expressive eyes, perfect height and length ratio, nice front and hind angulation, beautiful mover. Top line could’ve been better.

2nd: EMERSON’s Pachego on the Double. 12 months old boy with nice head and eyes, good length of neck, energetic boy, could’ve been handled better. 

Post Graduate Dog
1st: DALY’s Smartdac Russian Roulette. 3 years old dark red dog with plenty of expression nice masculine head with decent almond shaped eyes, good length of neck perfect front and lovely long ribcage, decent front and hind angulation, overall nice specimen.

1st: BOYLE’S Ch Zarcrest See in Red.  18months old beautiful red dog, one of the best specimens of the day. Caught my eyes as soon as he gracefully enter in the ring, lovely medium sized head with almond shaped eyes, lovely length of neck settled perfectly on nicely angulated shoulders, hinds are equally perfect angulated, moderate height and length of ration with lovely top line. The anatomical perfection reflects on his movement, happy to award Dog CC and Bob, happy to see him shortlisted in hound group. 

2nd: GEESON’s  Abydachs Alpha Centauri. 18 Months old boy, very strong head with expressive eyes, nice length of neck, beautiful front assembly with good length of rib cage, hind angulation could’ve been better. Dog Rcc.

3rd: MCALPINE Ch/Ir Ch Lampcien Trick or Treat

Puppy Bitch

1st: MCALPINE’s Ralines Keepsake Lampcien. 7.5 months olf black and tan female,Courageous and confident and this was manifested in her excellent carriage and attitude. Attractive head and expression. Clean neck and lovely forehand. Well ribbed with strong, short loin. Sound and steady while moving. Her mature attitude gave her the edge in the challenge for Best Puppy and Res Bitch CC

2nd:Fleming & Williams’ Cwmdarhian Celtic Exchange with Glenariff. 8 months old lovely female, perfect feminine head with expressive eyes, excellent height and length ratio, good long ribcage, bit of forward shoulder which effects on her movement and hind thrust.

1st: MCDONNELL’s Smartdac Aciri Storm. 11 months old black and tan female with strong head with good front, good length of neck and front angulation, perfect tail set hind angulation could’ve been better. Good mover. Happy to award Bitch cc.
