A good overall entry all temperaments were good, I did find a few lacking in the required front angles, ribbing needs to be watched and a few not moving off the rear end well today.
All
mouths were good though a few needed a good clean.
Veteran Dog or Bitch (3, 1 Abs)
1st: PHILLIPS Rossdach Rave On. Nicely made B/T with a good head, ear and set
good forechest and front assembly, moved out well holding his topline BVIB
2nd: EARLEY Yelva Mister Brandy Man. shaded red with a nice head and eye, not
quite the front of the winner, he was well ribbed and quartered and moved ok.
Minor
Puppy Dog (1)
1st: MCCARTHY Nagshall The Odd Reason. A well grown shaded cream that was up to
size for his age, a great front assembly, bone, feet, ribbing topline and
quarters moved out well for one so young RCC.
Puppy Dog (1)
1st: MCCARTHY Nagshall The Odd Reason. repeat
Junior Dog (2)
1st: MCCARTHY Nagshall The Odd Reason. repeat
2nd: PHILLIPS Fallingwater First Light, red of a slightly different mould to my winner although more compact he moved ok but not the neck, topline or movement of 1
Yearling Dog (1)
1st: MCCARTHY Nagshall Santa Paolo. Quite a strong headed cream, good front
assembly, bone feet would like him ribbed back a bit more, not really using his
rear end today.
Post
Graduate Dog (4, 1 Abs)
1st: FAIRCHILD Restinim Torandot. I liked the overall make and shape of this
shaded red, he has a good headpiece, lovely front angles with good pro sternum,
his ribs extending well back and he was well coupled, though he moved well
holding a his topline seemed a little unsure and would like to have seen him
make more of himself both on the move and on the stack in the challenge.
2nd: MCCARTHY Nagshall Santa Paolo
3rd: PHILLIPS Rossdach Rockspirit
Limit Dog (3)
1st: MCCARTHY Nagshall Dutch Odyssey. A red of good overall shape, nice head and
eye, he has good bone, would prefer tighter feet, not moving out as well as I
would expect from a mature male
2nd: PHILLIPS Summerview Yogi Bear JW. Choc & tan with a nice head, his front
was ok, not ribbed as well back as my winner and not using his rear end well.
3rd: EARLEY Sanmik Charming Chocolet of Yelva
Open Dog (2)
1st: WOOD Ch Wildstar Wrobinson JW. A red that needs no introduction from me, he
has a super head and eye, lovely front, ribbed well back and moved out off a
well angled back end, I had no hesitation in awarding him the CC in this entry
of males today.
2nd: EARLEY Lilacfen Sonny Delight of Yelva. silver dapple & tan, a nice headed
dog, with a good overall make and shape he wasn’t in bloom today.
Minor Puppy Bitch (4)
1st: BUTLER Minard Out of the Darque from Drymoor. BPIB a super B/T with
everything about her to like she possesses a lovely head and eye, great depth
and ribbed well back, super angles fore and aft and moving out well for one so
young, I called her up to challenge her dam for the RCC, I will watch her career
with interest and would think she can make up.
2nd: WHITFIELD-ROBERTS Dandydayo She Lives in You, a nice headed red, a real
baby of this lovely class but couldn’t be denied her place, she has everything
in the right place at the moment and she moved well for one so young just needs
to grow on a bit.
3rd: SIGGEE Ensigynes Glaciarium
Puppy Bitch (3, 1 Abs)
1st: MCCARTHY Nagshall Odds On. Shaded cream that was a tad strong in head for
me for a bitch puppy hopefully she will fine down a bit, she had good ribbing
and depth, she has lovely front angles and again moved well I just preferred the
overall refinement of the MP winner
2nd: STEVENS Urishay Ambrosia by Sidburyhill. Black & cream with a good overall
make and shape, good angles both ends would prefer her to be ribbed a bit
further back and preferred front and movement of 1.
Junior Bitch (5, 1 Abs)
1st: WOOD Wildstar Wrolanda. I loved this red bitch she excels in head and eye,
she has super bone and feet, ribbing, couplings, when she curbed her exuberance,
she showed some super movement and covered her ground well, another who’s career
I will watch with interest and am sure she again will make up soon.
2nd: PHILLIPS Fallingwater First Love. Another lovely bitch a shaded red with a
good front, well angled she has a lovely overall shape was ribbed well back and
again moved out well.
3rd: MCCARTHY Nagshall Odds On
Yearling Bitch (2)
1st: MCCARTHY Nagshall Lucaoonagh. A shaded cream she had a nice eye, front
assembly, width and depth would just prefer her to be ribbed a bit further back
and she moved out ok.
2nd: BULLINGHAM & KENT Lokmadi Me and Mrs Jones. Shaded cream who had a good
overall make and shape lost out to one on topline and movement.
Post Graduate Bitch (4)
1st: COX Dolyharp Sweet Harmony. A nicely made shaded red that made the most of
herself on the move, lovely bone and feet, front angles, ribbing and well
coupled.
2nd: MCCARTHY Nagshall Santa Rosa. A shaded cream although I preferred her eye
shape to the winner, she didn’t have her overall head shape or refinement, she
has good bone and her feet are ok, she was well ribbed and a good rear end but
not really wanting to go today,
3rd: EARLEY Yelva Princess Beatrix
Limit Bitch (2)
1st: EARLEY Yelva Silver Shadow. Silver dapple & tan with an attractive head and
type that holds appeal, I liked her overall make and shape holding a good
topline on the move, she moved well in this class when she settled but didn’t
want to give it all in the challenge.
2nd: WHITFIELD-ROBERTS Dandydayo Kiss the Girl. A nice headed red bitch with a
good front assembly, she was well made all through and moved ok, just preferred
the overall type of 1.
Open Bitch (4)
1st: WOOD Ch Wildstar Wrivera. A red that was put down and presented to
perfection for me, I loved her all through lovely head and eye, great front
assembly, well ribbed and coupled, she had well angled rear which she used to
her advantage CC & B.O.B
2nd: GODDARD Ch Minard Darque Angel. A B/T another lovely bitch again possessing
all the essentials, she just seemed a little unsettled in this class but pulled
it back together when called back into the challenge to take the RCC over her
young daughter.
3rd: PHILLIPS Summerview Minnie Mouse
