Minor Puppy Dog (3)
1st WESTON & JOHNSONs Dolyharp
Don Ottavio with Ecotyne B dog puppy. Two here from
a famous prefix, always a pleasure to judge a
Dolyharp. Chubby boy which is allowed at 6 mths!
Sound too & fro, keeping his topline in profile.
Lovely head, good bone and feet, Needs a touch more
length of neck. Promising. Brother to second.
2nd STEVENS Dolyharp Amadeus at
Sidburyhill Elegant and rangy, needs time to fill
out. Great temperament, & is a cheeky boy, just
running up behind at the moment, which they can do
as baby puppies. Also should make up well.
Puppy Dog (3)
1st NORTONs Halunke Chance
Encounter Over 12lbs on the day and in need of a
diet as he was quite fat. Taking this into
consideration I still preferred him to second. Held
his backline well, Pleasing length and strength of
head, maybe a touch elbowy in front, Good behind,
Shoulders set fairly well back. Excellent on the
move.
2nd GORDONs Allerbach's Tiger
Moth Absolutely gorgeous head, eyes and expression.
He needs a better lay of shoulder and more length of
neck. Good pigment. Well ribbed up, true up and
back.
Junior Dog (6)
1st COXs Dolyharp Fidelio Nice
class, winner the best to go over, but still looks a
junior and needs finish. Good outline, tight elbows,
Pleasing head and expression. Topline steady, and he
has a powerful driving rear, with good width across
the quarters.
2nd MITCHELLs Ch Bronia
Maverick In super coat and condition, Nice outline,
he is a little elbowy, and can come up on his feet a
bit more. Excellent body and hind end. Well muscled
which I appreciate. Moved true.
3rd PHILLIPS Summerview Hello
Hugo
Post Graduate Dog (4)
1st McCARTHYs Nagshall Dyce the
Ice Shoulder blades set up his neck instead of at
the withers, and he could do with stronger pigment,
otherwise a nice dog, good in head, firm jaws, good
backline, and sweeping nicely into strong rear end.
Moved with some style too. Brother to R CC bitch I
see.
2nd MAYSON & NICHOLS
Charpurdy's The Viscount Deep red, also attractive
head and eyes, reasonable front, nicely coupled, &
not overlong, fair mover. Could be a little more
forthcoming showing.
3rd McSORLEYs Barlaine Midnight
Charmer
Limit Dog (5)
1st LARKINs Larkhund Rocketman
R CC A good class, winner stood right away from the
others for type and that touch of quality. Super to
go over, for front and shoulder set, correct length
to height ratio, maybe verging on FCI proportions.
Smart and sound and in lovely nick. A difficult dog
to get past, in the ring.
2nd POOLEs Findowrie Mister
McKye Sound “all male”, front well under, keeps his
topline moving and standing, and has the correct
slight rise over the loin. he was inclined to cut
corners and not move in a straight line. Dachs do
tend to out think their owners! Admired his head and
expression. A super boy all round.
3rd DRADYs Tolberg Black Adder
at Indiko
Open Dog (9)
1st WOODs Ch Wildstar Wrobinson
CC Satisfying to go over and has a well made body,
correct ribbing, short loin, good construction both
ends, and moved to match his build. Difficult to
believe he was just into veteran too! In super coat,
and really at one with his handler moving.
2nd WESTON & JOHNSONs Ecotyne
Devil's Advocate Not an eye catcher on first move,
but he is so nice to go over, excellent front, well
bodied, good oval ribbing where many were
slab-sided. Nice behind, and a true sound mover.

Minor Puppy Bitch (5)
1st ROTHCHILDs Rothmia's Born
to Shine B Puppy Two nice babies one and two. 1st
holding her topline beautifully for 7 mths old.
Pleasing conformation, obviously raw still, but very
promising, striding out well all round. Owner should
have some fun with her when a little older.
2nd McCARTHYs Nagshall Di Maria
Lovely head also, OK in front & body, goes correctly
up and down just running up in topline at present,
as they can do at this age.
3rd CLARKEs Hilmar Bilberry
Breeze
Puppy Bitch (3)
1st McCARTHYs Nagshall The Odd
Excuse Lovely youngster, striking outline moving.
Quality head high set ears, OK in front, and well
bodied up for a 10 mth old. Maybe a smidgen more
hind angulation would improve. Impressive moving.
2nd WESTON & JOHNSONs Ecotyne
Witch on a Broom A good solid bitch pup. Maybe a
little short in foreface, and she cuts up in ribbing
underneath. Deep chest, excellent pigment. Moving
out with a good stride.
Junior Bitch (6)
1st MITCHELLs Bronia Chaka Khan
Pleased to have some good dachshunds here, Juniors
are the future of the breed. The winner was flowing
easily around the ring, & of pleasing type and
quality to go over. Front well under her, excellent
body coming along, perfect topline, and pretty good
behind too. A nice prospect. sister to 2nd Jun. dog
2nd McCARTHYs Nagshall The Odd

Novice Bitch (2)
1st E Witch on a Broom
Post Graduate Bitch (9)
1st SHUTTs Donnadoon Oh My
Diana Sweet, small Choc/tan, with super pigment.
Elegant outline, keeping a level backline, and was
sound behind. She does move too close coming
towards, but I feel this should strengthen and widen
as she muscles up. I liked her a lot.
2nd LARKINs Darsoms Zparkle
Super quarters and steady topline, strides out well
in profile. Strong body, but shoulder blades set too
far up her neck, lovely temperament. In good coat
too. Half sister to R CC dog
3rd STEVENS Urishay Ambrosia by
Sidburyhill
Limit Bitch (12)
1st LARKINs Larkhund All that
Jazz Satisfying front with tight elbows going over
her. Lovely head, eyes & expression, and had high
set ears. Excellent body and backline correct. I
felt she needed a touch more rear angulation. In
lovely nick. Quality bitch. Sister to R CC dog
2nd LOCKETT-WALTERS Ralines
Lemontini Very pretty, but eyes a bit wild, and she
wasn’t behaving on the table. She showed Ok on the
floor. Nice to go over when she did stand! Sound,
free and active mover, with excellent bone and tidy,
big feet.
3rd WORSWICKs Dolyharp Sonatina
Open Bitch (10)
1st McCARTHYs Nagshall I'm So
Dizzy JW R CC Lovely class and gave me a headache to
split them. Winner held herself together the best in
the end. Pleasing type and good quality. Neat in
front, with a very correct topline. Moved truly.
Should make up quite easily I thought.
2nd MASONs Ch Tolberg Beez
Kneez at Teckeltown Well put together, not overlong
in back, and very well handled. She did tend to cut
the corners and shorten the ring with handler going
round correctly but her charge was saving time and
energy! I did forgive this as her temperament was
cheery, and she is very sound on the move
3rd DAREs Ch Darsoms Zynala
loved her on the floor but she was sadly unsettled
on the table today.
Veteran Bitch (3)
1st GODDARDs Westwillow A Touch
of Magic at Minard CC BOB B Veteran Last class of
the day and it turned up my CC and BOB winner! This
brindle is really satisfying to go over with an
excellent front, deep chest, neat elbows, very
correct topline, and not overlong in back.
Absolutely sound moving both ways and a good length
of stride in profile, which was not that easy to
show in a fairly restricted ring. Excellent body
condition, although she pleaded starvation when I
gave her a piece of her sausage for winning veteran!
2nd WESTON & JOHNSONs Ecotyne
Fire Witch Another delightful older girl, also
waiting for her sausage with anticipation, and took
it so gently! A 9 yr old, sweet head and expression.
Elegant neck line. Keeps her topline moving although
she was cutting corners going round, as she had done
this all before, and was out thinking her handler.
