I would like to say a big thank you to the officers and committee for the invite to judge miniature longs at their championship show, which ran alongside Border Union at a lovely venue although the weather was not on our side. Thank you to all the exhibitors for your entries and to my ring steward who made the day run smoothly. V (3,2) 1 Pain Galrhia Full of Beans at Ravensbeech Lovely to go over – good head and eye shape, body all in proportion, good shoulder, ribbing and rear angulation. Sound moving with ease, keeping a lovely outline. Presented in top condition. Baby P (4) 1 Bell Tolberg Creme Brulee Red baby puppy 5 months. Loved this young puppy, impressive at this stage, good head with dark eyes, clean neck into correct forequarters, tight elbows and balanced quarters. Moved soundly. 2 Morrin & Barbi Zilcan Magic Moments B/T 4 months, just wanted to play, but handled so well by her smart young handler, needs to tighten in front, moved with lovely extension in parts, they made a good team. Well done. 3 Morrin & Barbi Zilcan Vanilla Ice PGD (2,1) 1 Mayson & Nichol Charpurdy’s the Baron Red dog– lovely head shape and eye. Good front and quarters, moved true both fore and aft, looked good on the stance. LD (3,1) 1 McSorley Barlaine Midnight Charmer Smart B/T correct shape of head, good reach of neck, balanced forequarters. Ribbing well back, nicely balanced behind. Sound moving keeping a lovely outline. 2 Kasprowicz Daniello Tiny Troublemaker Red dog with pleasing head, not the movement of one. The condition on the ground didn’t help. OD (5,2) 1 Mitchell Ch Bronia Maverick Cream dog of excellent type in lovely coat and condition. Good size with correct head and dark eye. Balanced in body both front and back. Sound free flowing movement at all times, keeping a lovely outline in profile. Expertly handled. CC, BOB and BIS. 2 Brown Garbosa I’m a Dandy Chocolate youngster of good size. Masculine head, good length of neck, body all in proportion. Strong quarters, sound stylish mover. RCC. 3 Morrin & BarbI Code Red Again at Arlatdax Special Beginner (3,1) 1 Mayson & Nichol Charpurdy’s the Viscount Red in good condition, lovely head and eye. Well handled. 2 Kasprowicz Daniello Tiny Troublemaker Another in good condition and well handled, preferred the overall outline of 1. MPB (2) 1 Heather Ravensbeech Floretine Whiteorchard Promising 7-month puppy, with lovely head and expression, nicely balanced with good body shape, moved freely. Best Puppy. 2 Gunter Infraganti Leading Layla at Wellingtonway Red puppy with a lot to like, just needs time to settle, hard to assess on the move today. PB (4,3) 1 Kasprowicz Daniello Jalka Jollynda Red bitch with balanced proportions and clean outline. Lovely head and correct shaped eye, moved freely. JB (5) 1 Brown Sunkissed Candy from Garbosa Cream. Quality youngster, pleasing head with good eye shape. Correct shoulder placement, neat well let down quarters. Moved soundly with good extension. 2 Pain Tolberg Here’s to the Future with Ravensbeech Lovely head, front, good bone, moved OK. Just felt that 1 had the edge today. 3 Russell Tolberg Royal Princess Russteck PGB (2,1) 1 Russell Tolberg Royal Princess Russteck B/T – 3rd in junior of good type, bone and front, didn’t show her best on the move, loosing her topline. LB (3,1) 1 COX Cheritondax ChardonnayRed girl, nicely shaped head and length of neck into correct shoulder placing, ribbing well back into balanced quarters. Moved with ease, keeping a lovely outline. 2 Dalton Zilcan Creme Caramel at Llansansior JW Another quality girl with a good head and expression, compact balanced body, good front and rear angulation, moved true, but just seemed to be holding back. OB (6) 1 Goodard Westwillow A Touch of Magic at Minard Brindle bitch, top class, so well balanced, standing four square, excellent bone and substance withnicely filled front and sound quarters with good bend of stifle. Sound moving up and down, looked a picture in profile. Well presented and handled. CC. 2 Mitchell Bronia Chaka Khan Cream – another quality girl, different type and lovely size. Good head and dark eye, correct shoulder, ribbing well back and neat balanced quarters, lovely flowing movement. RCC. 3 Pain Galrhia Full of Beans at Ravensbeech
