I am aware of how difficult it is to get a well constructed d with a good wire coat, a correct mouth, and in males two testicles all in an eleven pound package. Correct front construction with well laid shoulders and corresponding upper arm is in the minority. Only a couple of incorrect mouths but some exhibits that need their teeth cleaning. Not too many with good muscle tone, some very flabby animals who would benefit from some exercise.
MPD (7). 1 Price’s Samlane Jenson. Lovely start to the day, well balanced brindle with a correct double coat, good bone and feet, beautiful head, all male with intelligent expression, excellent fore chest with well laid shoulder and good upper arm, enough ribbing, super hindquarters and good tail set, top line gd, moved steadily keeping good outline, DCC, BP and RBPIS; 2 Moate’s Dianamo Magnum. Different type to 1, super brindle coat, good head and eye, excellent mouth, excellent top line and tail set, well bodied with good hindquarters, moved soundly, preferred froe chest and shoulder on winner.
JD (4). 1 Thorn-Andrew’s Drakesleat Von Der Full. Good coated dark brindle, well balanced, masculine head with lovely eye and correct mouth, moved out smartly, excellent top line and tail set, enough ribbing, good hind quarters, shoulders ok; 2 Wilberg’s Stargang Excalibur at Kanix. Lovely type, brindle, good bone for size, front construction ok, well angulated hindquarters and good tail set, top line a little soft when moving.
PGD (3). 1 Seidenbusch and Schulze’s Loretto Prince of Spades to Doubledax. Lighter brindle whose coat is not his fortune, head ok if a touch round in eye, would prefer more fore chest, would benefit from a shade more ribbing, lovely tail set, hindquarters ok, kept a lovely top line standing and moving and moved out well.
LD (8). 1 Barney’s Verrami Guess What. Like his type, well balanced brindle who would benefit from a harsher coat, excellent fore chest, needs to be touch tighter in elbow, head ok, excellent top line and well ribbed, well angulation hindquarters and good tail set, moved a touch close in front, moved out well behind, RCC; 2 Mueller’s Keep Kool Drakesleat. Excellent coated dark brindle, lovely head, front construction ok, prefer more angulation behind, he moved out well but lost his top line when moving.
OD (6). 1 Boyn’s Ch Brindekel Ballykay. Good coated brindle, masculine head if a touch round in eye, fore quarters ok, excellent top line, standing and moving, enough ribbing, good hindquarters, sound honest d, preferred type of limit winner for RCC; 2 Thorn-Andrew’s Drakesleat Spaghetti Junct. Dark brindle, good coat, lovely head, good tail set and top line, hindquarters ok, moves a touch close in front, very well handled.
MPB (8). 1 Marston’s Lordscairnie Spirit Of Love. Well schooled baby, coat could be harsher, feminine head, good bone and feet, good front construction and nice hindquarters, kept a good top line, well bodied, moved out well; 2 Morton’s Cotherstone Past N Present. Real roly poly baby, another whose coat could be harsher, preferred the fore chest of the winner and lost her top line when moving.
PB (9). 1 Barney’s Verrami Vera Right. Gorgeous black/tan brindle, lovely shape, well bodied, good bone, nicely angulated both ends, good top line, moved smartly, coat could be better, well handled, BPB; 2 Kugow and Holt’s Waldermeister Meadow. Superbly coated dark brindle, different type to winner, kept her outline when moving, she is sound front and rear, preferred shoulder and fore chest of winner, lovely p.
JB (14). 1 Wilberg’s Kanix Audrey. Very smart b, nice head, good mouth, lovely neck and shoulders, very nice hindquarters, super top line standing and moving, good ribbing, coat could be harsher, well handled; 2 Blackburn’s Stargang Xquisite. B of very similar type to winner, excellent coat, top line good standing and moving, lovely tail set, expertly handled, preferred forequarters on winner.
PGB (13). 1 Marshall’s Redgap Babbity Bumble. Dark brindle just pushing weight limit, very nicely constructed b of lovely type, moved really well though she does like her tail, nicely handled to get the best of her, easy winner of the class; 2 Muir’s Aster Be You. Soft coated brindle, won this place of her forequarter construction.
LB (9). 1 Thorn-Andrew’s Drakesleat Guilty Me Lud. Would prefer a stronger temperament but for type and construction had the edge on the second, lovely dark brindle, well balanced with good fore and hindquarters, nice top line and ribbing, best mover in the class; 2 Blackburn’s Stargang Musical Finish. Lighter brindle with excellent coat, feminine head, good top and underline, lovely hindquarters, shown expertly as are all from this exhibitor, just preferred fore chest and upper arm of winner, 2 lovely bitches.
OB (11). 1 Hanney’s Hilmar Abracadabra at Bronia. Red
brindle, loved her type, although short in coat there
was enough to feel that the texture is correct, lovely
bone for size, good feet, feminine head with correct
eye, correct fore and hindquarters, good deep body, well
ribbed, kept a lovely outline when moving, absolutely
sound, extending well in front and driving behind,
smashing temperament, I think she is lovely, BCC her 2nd
and BOB; 2 Thorn-Andrew’s Drakesleat Black Marks. Well
balanced black and tan, lovely head and eye, good feet,
excellent hindquarters, kept a good outline standing and
moving, preferred fore chest on winner, RCC.
