I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge and for their hospitality. I had some nice dogs to go over. I was concerned that some coats were soft in texture and some dogs lacked hind angulation, which showed in movement. All the exhibitors were very sporting and I would like to thank the exhibitors for their entries.
J. (6). 1. Fulton’s, Stargang Crafty Finish at Bothlyn. A very nice brindle dog. Quality dog throughout. Good strong head and expression, oval shaped eyes. Good coat. Lovely reach of neck flwoing into correctly laid shoulders. Still needs his front to develop. Good length of ribbing carried well back. Good angulated hindquarters. Nicely balanced. More positive behind on the move. Just needs to settle. BD and BOB. 2. Russell’s, Stargang Crafty Music for Russteck. Same remarks apply for this bitch. I;d like more let down in hindquarters. Still nice to go over. BB. 3. Forrest’s, Bute’s, Naughty Little Sister. RBB and BP.
OD. (2). 1. Russell’s, Kevocklea Twelfth Knight. Nice brindle dog. Good strong head and jaws. Good coat and expression, correct shaped eyes. Lovely reach of neck. Well laid shoulders. Good front and ribbing carried back. Preferred this too second on angulations and movement. RBD. 2. Fulton’s, Jonkaths Time Traveller to Bothlyn. Again same remarks apply to this dog, I’d have liked more hind angulation, but still nice to go over. Moved and showed well.
