MINIATURE WIRE HAIRED
Thanks to the exhibitors for an excellent entry & to my stewards who managed the ring very professionally.
VD (1) 1st Moore’s Sawgate Alder at Danvichar. Very nice Br. Boy nearly 8 yrs old. Good head & eye. Moved soundly keeping a good topline.
SpD (6) 1 Russell’s Russteck Orsino. Quality dark Br. Dog. Good head & eye. Adequate ribbing & keel. Well angulated both ends. Moved smartly keeping a good outline at all times. Close decision in challenge for BP. 2 Dunstall’s Metcroft Zingane. Lighter Br. Not quite as masculine as 1. Won his place on his sound movement. 3rd Hollis’s & Fisher’s Jakanem Razzle Dazzle By Samlane. V dark boy. Rather overawed by the occasion. Movement somewhat erratic.
SpJD (5) 1 RCC. Allan, Allan & Dick’s Auchans Roger The Dojjer. Excellent br D. Fantastic coat. Good head, eye & length of neck. Beautifully constructed throughout. Well angulated fore & aft. Moved so soundly keeping an impeccable outline. Pressed really hard for the CC. 2 Smith’s Dunns Pitts Supa Smiff. Dark br. Well constructed boy. Nice head & eye. V good coat. Good ribbing. Nice tight feet.Sound mover. 3 Newbury’s Bretarah Rough-And-Ready For Dalegarth. Another nice dog. Close up. Not the rounded rump of 2.
YD (5) A. Roger The Dojjer. 2 Punter’s Welcumen Denzil. V sound & well constructed Br. Good head & eye. Lengthy neck. Fantastic forechest. Would like him able to carry a bit more weight to complete the picture. 3 Marka Novaj Miace’s Shemby Top Caliber. Smaller Br. Soundly constructed. Not the hind movement of 1 & 2.
PGD (11) 1 Womble’s Emem Wind In The Willows. Dark Br. Boy. V good outline both standing & moving. Looked the winner from the moment he entered the ring. 2 Fletcher’s Spiredals Winnats Pocket. Red dog. Not an eye catcher but so good to go over. Excels in length of keel & ribbing & sound movement. 3 S. Top Caliber.
LD (11) 1 Baldwin’s Beckel Blueprint. Fantastic Br d. Masculine head. Lengthy neck. Great forechest & ribbing. Super rounded Quarters which he really used to power round the ring. Delighted to award him his 1st CC. 2 Fulton & Fulton’s Jonkaths Time Traveller To Bothlyn JW. Br d of very similar make & shape to 1. Pity they were in the same class. He is well worthy to attain his title. Just preferred the well let down quarters of Blueprint but a super boy. 3 Banks & Douglas’s Torabbi Welsh Malt. Very soundly constructed br d. Good coat but needs some trimming down neck & forechest to show off these qualities. V sound mover with good reach & drive.
OD (7) 1 Hassall & McLeod’s Janjac Costa Pack It. Dark Br d I have always liked. Awarded him the RCC last time I judged & still think he is worthy of his title but unfortunately I only had one CC to award. I wish I had had four. He has v good construction. Nice head & eye. Good ribbing & angulation & moved soundly. 2 Gorton Baker’s Axters Bindaree Von Kotch. V dark br. Loves to show. Moved soundly with ‘attitude’. 3 Dance’s Ch/IR Ch Emem Nipper In The Air. Well constructed Br d. Long & Low. Did not seem his usual self today & was carrying his tail strangely which spoiled his outline.
Good Cit D (5) 1 T Welsh Malt. 2 Ch/IrCh E Nipper In The Air. 3 Seidenbusch & Schulze Loretto Prince of Spades to Doubledax. B/t Br. Quite soundly constructed. A little upset by not having his usual handler. Moved soundly.
VB (4) 1 Scott’s Daisarch Something Special. V smartly put down B/T 7 1/2yrs. Sweet head & expression. Good forechest & ribbing. Moved soundly with great animation keeping an excellent profile. 2 Forrest & Forrest’s Clannad Supa Dupa Among Morailmadadh. Soundly constructed Br aged 10 1/2 yrs. Coat was out over shoulders spoiling outline from a distance. Movement was positive each way which gained her this position. 3 Price’s Ch Samlane Ariadne. Nice bitch to go over.Hind movement let her down.
SpPB (11) 1 Fulton & Fulton’s Bothlyn Singing The Blues. Lovely Br p. Construction out of the top drawer. Sweet head &eye. Lengthy neck. Super coat & presentation. Moved soundly with style. Seemed a little apprehensive at first but settled well to win BP. 2 Marston-Teal’s Lordscairnie Love Actually. Well constructed Br bitch. Pleasing head & expression. Good forechest, ribbing & keel. Moved soundly keeping a good topline. 3 Punter’s Welcumen Best Bonnett. Longer cast dark br. Super front. Moved v well.
SpJB (9) 1 Thomson’s Larklinn Star Of Destiny. Lengthy br bitch. Lovely head & eye. Reachy neck. Good forechest. Well angulated fore & aft. Moved soundly. 2 Russell’s Russteck Starlight. Close decision between these two. V similar in many ways. Pleasing head. Good front, ribbing & angulation. Moved soundly. Not the length of 1. 3 Presnail’s Taree Ermedale. Small dark br. Long, Low & Level. Moved smartly.
YB (11) 1 Marston-Teal’s Lordscairnie Fantasy Of Love. Black/grizzle bitch. Pleasing head. Solid well constructed body. Sound movement. Kept a good outline at all times. 2 Kemp’s Metcroft Some Like It Hot At Vossmead. Red b I have admired from the ringside. She has a super forechest & well made body. Sound mover. A little more length would complete the picture. 3 Miller’s Scotmariner Ariel. Sweet little bitch. Correctly constructed. Moved well to secure 3rd place.
PGB (14) Kennedy’s Moonshe Modesty Blaze. Nicely constructed b. Good coat texture. Won this class on her movement in profile going around the ring. 2 Macdonough’s Beckel Flutterby Bothlyn. V pretty b of nice type. Carrying too much weight which detracts from the overall picture. Couldn’t match 1 for coat texture. 3 Whitehouse & Evill’s Ubi Abi. Attractive br b of good length. Good coat texture. Moved soundly keeping a good topline.
LB (8) 1 CC & BOB. Angear’s Beckel Bountiful For Ridgegrove. This was what I had been hoping for all day. Gorgeous light brindle b. Lovely head. Reachy neck. Well laid shoulders. Super forechest, ribbing, underline & topline. Superb angulation. Moved like a dream, so soundly. Kept a wonderful outline at all times. Litter brother to DCC. What a litter to produce two such outstanding specimens. 2 Marston-Teal’s Lordscairnie Love In The Mist. Another nicely constructed b from this exhibitor. She showed well keeping a correct outline at all times but couldn’t match the forechest & ‘star quality’of 1. 3 Sexton & Hayward’s Foxearth Fixed Asset. Darker br b. Pleasing head & neck. Good front & rear construction. Moved soundly.
OB (16) 1 Lampero’s Freckle-Face Love Me Sweet, this b gave me such a problem. Standing I thought she was too short & square for me. Then I sent the class around the ring & ‘boy’ could she move. She was like a Citroen car in reverse. When her engine was switched on she didn’t rise she dropped & stretched & went. Her reach & drive were fantastic. She devoured the ring. I loved her head & expression. Her coat quality was excellent. She had great bone. I had great pleasure in awarding her the RCC. 2 McLeod & Formstone’s Veni Veni Vici Janjac. Top quality B/T br. b. Feminine head. Nicely made body. Excellent coat & presentation. Good legs & feet. Moved soundly. 3 Thomson’s Larklinn’s Destiny. Super coated br b. Good head. Nicely proportioned body. Moved well keeping a true outline at all times.
Good Cit. B (2) 1 Marston-Teal’s Lordscairnie Love Anew. Have awarded her a CC in the past. She still has the good construction that I look for although today she didn’t seem to have the enthusiasm needed in the hot competition. 2 Seidenbusch & Schulze’s Larklinns Ruby Tuesday at Doubledax. Nicely constructed bitch. Not moving too well behind
