MPD (2). 1 Miller’s Trelanis That’s My Boy. 8 mth, lovely head, in good condition, nice harsh coat, moved steadily. Would have preferred a little shorter in loin. P (3). 1 Wright’s Rotella De La Hoya. Pleasing head and expression, sufficient reach of neck running smoothly into correct back line, firm round feet, moved steadily, showmanship will improve with experience. BPD; 2 Singleton and Race’s Drakesleat Wrong Number At Kaskarak. Much to like about this d but movement was not as firm as 1. J (4). 1 M Miller’s Scotmariner Sea Archor. Delightful head and expression, good reach of neck, shorter in loin than 2nd, corresponding front and rear angulation, good placement of shoulders, moved and showed well; 2 Thorn-Andrew’s Verrami Burn Toffring Drakesleat. This d had lovely head shape and good depth of body, good spring of rib, beautiful tight feet, not as strong in hindquarters as 1st, in super show condition, moved and showed well; 3 Moore’s Danvichar Bergamot. N (2). 1 Wright’s Rotella De La Hoya. L (6). 1 Womble’s Emem Wind In The Willows. He looked absolutely stunning, gorgeous head, lovely reach of neck flowing into strong back line, corresponding front and rear angulation, moved with drive covering the ground effortlessly, in superb condition, great personality. Pleased to award him his second CC; 2 Blackburn’s Kanix Hugo To Stargang. Met a d on top form but, non-the-less, a v nice d with pleasing head and expression, good reach of neck with strong back line, foot shape could have been better, movement was fine, showed well; 3 Rathbone’s brialind Galahad. O (6). 1 Thorn-Andrew’s Ch Drakeleat Otto Bahn. A v strong class, but this lovely d stood out even so. He has received much praise for his quality, beautiful head and reach of neck, superb shoulder placement, gorgeous fore chest, spring and length of ribbing. He moved and showed with verve until the challenge then seemed to lack a little enthusiasm. RCC; 2 Allan and Dick’s IR CH Auchans Roger The Dojjer. V nice type, beautifully balanced, good angulation front and rear, good shoulder placement, moved and showed well; 3 Barney’s Verrami Brown Doff. MPB (5). 1 Kugow and Holt’s Waldmeister Nutmeg. Lovely shaped head, pleasing expression, sufficient reach of neck, firm back line, moved well, tight feet, showed steadily; 2 Poxon’s Kapodach Sakura Blush. V nice and well balanced, lovely harsh coat, preferred tail set of 1st, movement was a little erratic, needs to settle to make the best of herself; 3 Stockdales Stockcroft Forget Me Not. P (7). 1 Dance’s Emem Hello Ena. Nice type, beautifully balanced, lovely head and expression, sufficient reach of neck, firm back line, good spring of rib and length, superbly angulated front and rear, lovely fore chest, harsh coat in fabulous condition, moved and showed well. BP; 2 Wright’s Rotella Sometimes An Angle. V nice balanced, good depth of body, would have liked more arch on the neck and better shaped feet, movement was slightly erratic today; 3 miller’s Trelanis Spottie Dot Com. J (5). 1 Thorn-Andrew’s Drakesleat Tea Leaf. Two v nice bitches in this class. Both have good shaped heads, reach of neck, firm back lines and correct shoulder placement with good strong hind quarters. The difference between them was small. In this b darkness of eye and over all showmanship; 2 Blackburn’s Kanix Hilda at Stargang. As above, she is balanced and has so much quality but some reason did not show at her best today, which was a shame; 3 Marston’s Lordscairne Love Actually. N (2). 1 Wright’s Rotella Never An Angel. Stood alone here, she is a nice type, lovely fore chest, good spring of rib, good feet and showed well. This is the 3rd of this litter here today. Her brother was BPD. PG (5). This was a difficult class to judge due to variation of type and quality. My final decision was 1 Hayward’s Foxearth Foto Copy. For her shape and darkness of eye, correct back line with the slight rise over the hind quarters and harshness of coat; 2 Blackburn Bennett’s Shybu Zephrin At Shardagang. Colour and markings of coat can give optical illusions, in this case the dappling made the head look a little out of proportion to the development of the body. both had good movement and showed well; 3 Miller’s Scotmariner Ariel. L (6). 1 Wilberg’s Stargang Kanit Be Kanix. RCC winner, lovely head superb fore chest, length of ribbing, she has the slight arch of neck that was missing on some here today, good corresponding angulation, well placed shoulders, had drive from rear, moved and showed well; 2 Payton’s Marajo Embraced By The Light. She has many qualities to like but I felt she could do with a little more length of neck to complete the balanced picture. She moved well but not quite the drive of 1st; 3 Thorn-Andrew’s Drakesleat Nuffin Toulouse. O (7). Here was a class of quality bitches I am sure this beautiful trio have changed places during the show year, but today: 1 Blackburn’s Ch Stargang Xquisite, CC and BOB. She is exquisite, in superb show condition, she has had a busy show year but showed no lack of showmanship and enthusiasm, showing super movement on this floor surface when she walked off the matting. Went on to be BIS; 2 Kugow and Holt’s CH Waldmeister Meadow. Another worthy champion, personally I would have liked a little more length of neck to completely balance her, she moved and showed well; 3 Blackburn’s Ch Stargang Karaoke Queen.
