MINIATURE WIRE HAIRED
PD (2). 1 Miller’s Bothlyn Timemaster At Sharplaw. Hard to assess this youngster on the table as he refused to co-operate, but once settled on the move he kept his topline and moved reasonably well coming and going; 2 Hopgood’s Dunnspitts Artful Dodger. Good harsh coat on this youngster, good length of muzzle and skull. Just preferred the front assembly and movement of winner. Stands a little high on rear at present, hope this sorts itself out as he matures.
OD 1 Fulton’s Stargang Crafty Finnish At Bothlyn. At 3 yrs old fully mature, complete with furnishings, pleasing head with good balance of skull to muzzle ratio, excels in neck, with well laid back shoulders, ribbed well back. Good angulation to front and rear. BD.
PB (2). 1 Shand’s Bothlyn Sweet Time. Compactly made b with pleasing head and eye, good harsh coat. Well made firm body with good neck and well laid back shoulders. Firm well angulated rear quarters, covered the ground well for age should do well when fully mature, BP and RBB; 2 Brechin and Herbert’s Sasdax Lily Of The Valley. Another lovely p, pleasing head, well finished for age, with good neck ample forechest, firm body, level topline and well angulated rear quarters. As yet still immature.
JB (1). 1 MacDonough’s Varrich Strathmurrin. Typical head with good furnishings, good neck and shoulders, firm body of good length, level topline, well covered with harsh coat.
PGB (3). 1 Brechin and Herbert’s Stargang Ilex. Lovely b to handle. Firm compactly made with good bone, well sprung rib of good length, ample neck and well laid back shoulders. Good forechest, well angulated to front and rear, moved well, thought she would be my RBB but did not shine in the final line up; 2 Blackburn’s Shybu Saffire Perle At Stargang. Short coupled with well ribbed body, oval chest, well covered with harsh coat; 3 MacDonough’s Varrich Strathislay.
LB (1). 1 MacDonough’s Beckel Flutterby Bothlyn. Balanced b with good topline and well angulated rear quarters, moved and showed well, would prefer a harsher coat.
OB (2). 1 Blackburn’s Ch Kanix Hilda At Stargang. This was definitely a case of ECSaved The Best Till LastEE. I really loved this b from the moment she came in the ring, lovely to handle on the table and equally pleasing to see her on the move. Well bodied, with oval chest with deep well sprung rib, good neck and well laid back shoulders, firm level topline and muscular rear quarters. Super balanced head of good length, well furnished, correct wire jacket completed the picture. BB and BOB; 2 Fulton’s Bothlyn Blue Whisper. Disappointingly I was unable to handle this b on the table, standing and on the move she presented a pleasing outline with good neck and well laid back shoulders, good length of rib and level topline, well angulated rear quarters.
