MINIATURE WIRE HAIRED
Always an honour to judge at Crufts. I enjoyed my day and my thanks for the sporting acceptance of my placings. I had a good entry and some decisions were tight. I was concerned to find that front movement was often in correct, legs so close together they were almost touching, feet were splayed and flat, depth and prominence in keel was often lacking. Many moved close behind without extension. I appreciate the difficulties in getting everything in a small package and exhibitors are to be congratulated on the great improvement in heads with, in the main, a smaller darker eye. Coats and presentation were on the whole excellent, much improved leg hair texture. Dentition was good, as were temperaments.
VD. (2). 1. Moore’s, Sangate Alder at Danvichar. Nicely constructed brindle. Very fit with good jacket for age. Has nice head and eye. He moved in good order with verve. 2. Dunk’s, Bothlyn Knight Dreamer at Bronia. This brindle was also still good in make and body shape. He moved out freely round the ring. Topline lost a little on the move.
