MINIATURE WIRE HAIRED
I appreciated the entry and found I was splitting hairs in some classes, some quality hounds went cardless in the higher classes. Shoulders in some instances disappointed me and some upper arms were tight against the rib cage; some heads were small for the body size and I found teeth with tartar in quite young stock. MPD (5,1). 1 Thompson’s Larklinn High n Mighty, six months old today. Strong, balanced head with gentle eye, ears well set. Correct shoulder placement, good ribbing, level topline kept on the move. Beautiful tight feet. Really enjoyed his first show. 2 Smith’s Dunns Pitts Zakajak, very outgoing. Good forechest for his age, strong topline, well bodied and angulated rear. Well muscled which showed in his movement. 3 Rees’ Nordach Dare You To Whispa PD (3). 1 Hayward’s Foxearth Fool’s Parsley; BPD. Strong masculine head into arched neck and good shoulders. Front and rear balanced, firm body with long ribs, good tailset and tight feet. 2 Hassall’s Charnealis Costa Lota Money. Most beautifully presented hound with one of the best coats. Good shoulders and ribbing. Body still carrying his puppy fat but did not detract from his level topline and strong rear movement. 3 Thompson’s Larklin Rock Steady. Not moving at his best today and flying his tail. 2 Coles Westonlee One Man, smaller type but all hound and shown in superb condition. Well balanced throughout, moved freely and with drive. 3 Rees’ Nordach’s Sitting Tight. PGD (4,1). 1 Robertson & Cocozza’s Soletrader Dax Factor. Strong head and neck flowing into correct shoulders, long ribbing, beautiful croup, well angulated with good underline. Strode round the ring , front and rear movement true. Pushed strongly for honours. 2 Rathbone’s Brialind Galahead. Excellently presented in hard condition which showed in his strong movement coming, going and in profile.
