MINIATURE WIRE HAIRED

The weather was very hot which resulted in many of the dogs not showing to their best advantage. I thank the exhibitors for the wonderful entry of 84 Dogs. Coats in general were good, some exhibits were far to thin. My main concern was lack of width in ribbing and shortness in the length of ribbing together with shallow fronts. Presentation was generally good.

MPD (5) 1, Walkers Roselle Lord of the Dance. Quality brindle dog. Good ribbing. Well angulated quarters. Hard coat. Nice head and expression Moved very well to win this class. Well handled and presented. Most promising. 2 Hipkins Metrella Wots On. Nice puppy of good quality. Sound movement , good body. Correct coat. Moved well. Just preferred the finish on the croup of the winner. Presented and handling to advantage. 3 Brechins and Herberts Stargang Paco Rabanne.

PD (6) 1 Wilbergs Kanix Keith. Quality brindle dog. Good substance and length of ribbing, hard coat. Excellent profile which he retains stacked and on the move. Well angulated shoulders and quarters. Pleasing head. Moves with purposes and has loads of ring pressence. Well handled and presentd. Should have a good future. Reserve CC From a good line up of unbeaten dogs. Also Best Puppy in Breed. 2 Kugow & Holts Waldmeister Jackson. Very nice type of dog. Lovely head and eye. Slightly rangier than the winner. Very good movement, hard coat. Winner just scored on front at this stage. 3 Roskells Bigglesmere Recalled.

JD (4)1 Poxons Kapodach Acer Trier. Very impressive dog with balance and substance. Excellent feet. Very free sound movement with good drive and extension. Firm topline. Hard coat. Excellent head and eye. A quality dog. 2 Hassalls Charnealis Costa Lota Money. . Dark brindle super profile. Good length of ribbing. Hard coat Sound movement with good width all through. Not quite the extension of the winner on the day. 3 Powells Bothlyn Making Time at Forbell.

PGD (1) 1 Moores Danvichar Bergamot. Nice dog. Super head and eye. Best of coats. Firm hard topline. Well muscled quarters Very sound movement Presented and handled to great advantage. Would just like a little more ground clearance.

LD (7) 1 Thorn-Andrews Drakesleat Sat Sumo. Black and Tan dog of good length and substance. Sound well muscled quarters . Hard coat. Very sound on the move. Beautiful head and eye. In the line up for unbeaten dogs looked young and still needing a little more maturity. 2 Robertson & Cocozzas Soletrader Dax Factor. Black and Tan . Very impressive. Super head and eye. Deep long ribbing. Well angulated quarters. Moved with drive and purpose. Excellent front. Coat not just at his best on the day. I liked him very much. 3 Dunks Loretto Snuff Box. Sh.CM.

OD (4) 1 Thorn – Andrews, Iwama and Dellars, Jap Ch Drakesleat Jest Dis Once. Excellent dog Correct front , sound well angulated quarters. Beautiful head and eye on strong reachy neck, correct topline. Scores heavily on movement with very good drive and extension. Great ring pressence. Pleased to award him the Dog CC. 2 Dunks Bothlyn Knight Dreamer at Bronia. Dog of good substance. Topline could be firmer and coat of a harder texture. Really feeling the heat but coped really well for a 7 year old dog. Well handled.

MPB (8) Good class 1 Wilbergs Stargang Coco at Kanix. . Brindle of super type. Excellent profile, Hard coat, good feet. Good head and expression. Well angulated muscled quarters. Moved with drive and extension. Well handled and presented. Most promising. 2 Allens no name given. Very feminine Black and Tan Excellent profile.. Correct hard topline. Good head and eye. Not quite the coat of the winner at present, but ran the winner very close. 3. Kugow and Holts Waldmeister Mischka.

PB (10) 1 Blackburn-Bennets Shelsall Up to No Good at Shargang. Dark brindle bitch of super type. Correct coat Strong front and good feet. Good shoulders and quarters. Sound free movement. Handled to advantage Best Puppy Bitch. 2. Horswells Drakesleat Voo Lay Voo.Typy brindle bitch, long ribbing , super head and eye. Hard coat. Very sound movement but rather unsettled. Just preferred shoulders of the winner. 3 Punters Welcumen Maiden Jane.

JB (13) 1 Thorn-Andrews Drakesleat Ethics Girl. Here was my find of the day. Just loved the shape of this bitch. Super head and eye, reachy neck and the best of shoulders and front. Long ribbing, well angulated quarters. Very good movement with drive and extension. Hard strong coat. Delighted to award her the CC and BOB. Later to be told that this makes her up. She was shortlisted in the group. 2 Blackburns Stargang Coffee Renoir. Smaller type than the winner. Excellent ribbing and topline. Strong quarters. Nice head on good neck. Not was steady on the move as the winner. 3 Merediths Ememairy Fairy at Deepdax.

PGB (10) 1 Blackburn-Bennetts Shybu Zephira at Shardagang. Well handled dapple bitch, Good colours with plenty of break. Super front and shoulders. Well ribbed body. Impressed with the free movement of this bitch , excellent finish on the tailset. 2 Hipkins Metrella Wotnot. Brindle bitch of good type. Reachy neck and excellent quarters. Very good head. Sounder free movement. Preferred the shoulders of the winner. 3 Brachins & Herberts Stargang Ilex.

LB (10) Excellent Class 1. Holgates Drakesleat Gaysha Girl at Nadavin. Black and Tan of excellent substance and bone. Long ribbing, strong quarters. Gorgeous head and eye. Hard Coat. Sound long free movement. A very honest bitch, no exagerations. Close up in the Challenge I liked her very much. 2 Sextons and Haywards Foxearth Fixed Assets. Another very good brindle bitch in this excellent class. Smaller than winner, super profile. Good head, neck and topline. Sound free movement. Well handled and presented. Very close up to winner. 3 Horswells Drakesleat Why Knot.

OB (4) 1.Blackburns Ch Kanix Hilda at Stargang. JW. Lovely bitch of excellent quality very good in profile. Good shoulders firm front, Sound movement with excellent width. In excellent coat, good head with very feminine expressions. Was really feeling the heat on the day. Reserve CC 2. Thorn-Andrews Drakesleat I Rest My Case Rabymere. Bigger bitch than the winner. Excellent head and eye. Very good quarters. Winner scored on front. Good outline. 3 Hutchings Ch Molloney Zena Ghost. JW.
