PD (10). 1 Wilberg’s Kanix Keith. V impressed with this young exhibit. He has all the characteristics required. Good head, eye and expression. Reachy neck, sound front with good bone. Nice pro-sternum. Correct rib cage and topline, harsh coat, good bend of stifle. Short hocks, moved v true, exudes a great personality, RCC; 2 Howells’ Fallowmill Nutz About Toffy. Another v attractive 9 mnth p, beautifully presented in lovely coat, pleasing head, neck neck and topline, well proportioned body of good length, good pro-sternum, neat front, nicely angulated hindquarters, moved soundly and well; 3 Baldwin’s Komombo Copyright.
PGD (3). 1 McDowell’s Waldmeister Brook At Aristodax. Well presented in good jacket. Pleasing head, good pro-sternum. He looked v well balanced with a nice topline when free standing. Showed happily and well, nice bend of stifle but a little long in the hock; 2 Rathbone’s Brialind Galahad. Evidently he was not with his usual handler and perhaps did not give the best of himself. Nice head but rather round in eye. Good shoulders and pro-sternum. Neat front, strong firm body, reasonable hindquarters, moved ok; 3 Punter’s Welcumen Top Hat.
LD (6). 1 Robertson and Cocozza Soletrader Dax Factor. Beautiful head with dark intelligent eyes. Good neck, pro-sternum and front. Excellent coat, well presented, good topline and hindquarters. Absolutely sound on the move, lacks body weight probably to keep him at the standard weight; 2 Thorn-Andrews’ Darkesleat Sat Sumo. Impressive head with dark expressive eyes, overall balance good, just preferred the front construction of my winner, good ribcage and body. Nice coat and hindquarters, showed v well; 3 Way’s Sudasam Top At N Tails.
OD (3). 1 Thorn-Andrews Jap Ch Drakesleat JP Jest Dis Once. Stood alone in this class. I loved his head and correctly shaped dark eyes, good length of neck into well angulated shoulders. Neat sound front, good firm body, well ribbed. Nice bend of stifle, moved true both ways, v happy temperament, CC and BOB.
VD/B (2). 1 Batchelor’s Cairo’s Lucy Lastic At Algiestone. Sweet little brindle b. Feminine head, with dark eyes, good pro-sternum and coat. Well presented, good bend of stifle. A little difficult to assess her movement as she was so happy to be in the ring she tended to gallop along. Great temperament.
PB (11). 1 Horswell’s Drakesleat Voo Lay Voo. Caught my eye as she entered the ring with her v happy temperament. Balanced outline, pleasing head and expression. Good reach of neck, good shoulders, front and pro-sternum. Good length coming from a correct rib cage. Nicely angulated hindquarters, moved true. Showed well; 2 East’s Komombo Limited Edition. 6 mnths old, with a v sweet temperament. Attractive head and expression. Scores in conformation, lovely front, body and topline, nice hindquarters. Short hocks, moved soundly and well. Two lovely p’s; 3 Wilberg’s Kanix Kalinka.
JB (11). 1 Angear’s Ridgegrove Sugar Doll. Quality young exhibit of good balance and construction. Excellent outline and topline, which she kept on the move. Lovely feminine head, pleasing shoulder angulation and front, good body and ribbing. Nice bend of stifle, short hock. Moved soundly and true, RCC; 2 Blackburn-Bennett’s Shelsall Up To No Good At Shardagang. Attractive dark brindle, pleasing head, eye and expression, good body proportions, neat sound front, good forechest, nicely angulated hindquarters, showed well, just preferred the hind movement of 1st; 3 Howell’s Fallowmill Tuitti Fruiti.
PGB (9). 1 Whitehouse and Evill’s Ubu Star Of Wanda. Pleasing held with well set ears, lovely dark eyes, reachy neck, good forechest and front. Good spring of rib, excellent topline, nicely constructed hindquarters, moved soundly both ways; 2 Hipkin’s Metrella Wotnot. This dark brindle was well made throughout and scored well in head properties. Sweet expression, good length of ribbing, nice topline. Neat sound front, good forechest, adequate bend of stifle, but I preferred the hindquarters of my 1st and she was a little apprehensive; 3 Jones’ Bimini Song and Dance.
LB (10). 1 Thorn-Andrews’ Drakesleat Ethics Girl. V good looking exhibit presented in lovely order. Excels in head, eye and expression. Pleasing topline and underline, good lay of shoulders, sound front, nice pro-sternum. Good firm body, well ribbed, shapely hindquarters, moved true, showed v well, CC; 2 Putner’s Welcumen Black Hat. Similar stamp to my first but she cuts up a little underneath. Attractive feminine head, nice reach of neck, good topline, neat sound front, well developed forechest. Presented in good body condition, nice coat, moved soundly and well; 3 Smith’s Dunns Pitts Winnie The Pooh.
OB (5). 1 Thorn-Andrews’ Drakesleat Tea Leaf. V impressed with the excellent lay of shoulder, pro-sternum and soundness of front. Pleasing on the table and on the move. Classic head and expression, good reach of neck, correct well sprung ribs. Good topline, moved true both ways. Outgoing personality; 2 Hutching’s Ch Molloney Zena Ghost JW. Sound in build, excellent condition, lovely feminine head and expression, pleasing shoulder angulation, neat front, good coat and texture. Well sprung ribs, good topline and hindquarters, moved well; 3 Horswell’s Drakesleat Why Knot.
