My thanks to the Offices and Committee for their hospitality. Also thanks to the exhibitors for the sporting way they accepted my decisions. I found type v mixed, a lot of poor ribbing and uneven fronts. It's not easy breeding Miniature dachshunds and getting it right. I was pleased with my winners MPD (3). 1 Walker's Starhill Faust At Roselle. 8 mnths baby, nice head and expression, sound front, reasonable forechest, good turn of stifle, rather short in ribbing. Moved true with confidence. PD (6). 1 Blackburn's Stargang Malachite. Quality p, in excellent coat, lovely head and eye, reachy neck, good pro-sternum, neat front, ribbing smooth and carried well back, well bent stifles, moved with drive, v promising. BPD; 2 Marston's Lordscairne Once For Love. Attractive head, kind expression, good neck and length of back, unfortunately ribbing rather short, good angulation, moved well; 3 MacDonald's Bothlyn Majic At Holtraand. JD (3). 1 Russell's Russteck Fillibeg. Smart little b/t, nice outline, lean head, good front assembly with tight elbows and pro-sternum, level topline, good length of rib and bend of stifle, moved with drive; 2 Bothlyn Majic At Holtraand. Masculine head, nice expression, good length of back, level topline, well turned stifle, front not to my liking, needs to drop through; 3 Hunt's Tysar Secret Agent At Earthsea. ND (1). 1 Blackburn and Bennett's Stargang Cosmopolitan. 10 mnths, another from this kennel with excellent ribbing, smooth and carried well back, level topline, nice harsh coat, moved well but a shade narrow in front at present. PGD (3). 1 Russell's R Fillibeg; 2 Cole's Weststonelee Trooper. Masculine head, kind eye, sound front but would like more depth of brisket, good ribcage and bend of stifle, coat could be harsher, moved true; 3 Hassall's Charnealis Costa Lota Money. LD (6). 1 Hayward's Foxearth News Flash. Liked this young d pushed hard in the challenge, masculine without coarseness, excellent sternum, neat front, level topline, good length, sound quarters, balanced outline, moved with drive and purpose; 2 Howell's Fallowmill Nutz About Toffy. In a smaller mould but balanced outline, nice front assembly, level topline, good hind action, lovely harsh coat, moved true; 3 Poxon's Kapodach Acer Trier. OD (4). 1 Horswell's and Iwana's Jap Ch Drakesleat JP Trier Winshoten. Liked this d's outline, completely balanced, excellent sternum and depth of brisket and follows through to good ribbing and well bent stifles, lengthy neck and neat front, level topline, low to ground, well handled and presented, moved well. CC, his third, congratulations; 2 Wilberg's Ch Kanix Keith. Worthy champion with lovely head and expression, super harsh coat, neat front, tight elbows, good ribbing, sound quarters with excellent hind drive, RCC; 3 Kugow and Holt's Waldmeister Jackson. MPB (7). 1 Howell's Fallowmill Dealilah. Pretty little baby, lower to ground than 2, lovely outline, level topline, neat front with good ribbing, moved true fore and aft; 2 Coles' Kanix Nelly Of Weststonelee. Another lovely baby that has a nice outline when she stands still long enough to see it. Sound front and assembly, good keel, well bent stifles, moved well; 3 Blackburn's Stargang True Blue. PB (8). 1 Kugow and Hall's Waldmeister Guillemot. Liked this baby for her excellent movement, perhaps a shade short on the leg for me but her qualities could not be denied. Super head and expression, good length of neck, sound forehand, tight elbows, level topline, good length of ribbing, moved with drive, excellent side gait. Lovely coat and condition, BP; 2 Blackburn's Stargang Doll Finn. Sweet head, lovely expression, good depth of keel but a little short in rib, nice hind angulation, moved well, excellent coat; 3 Marston's Lordscarnie Love Diamonds. JB (4). 1 Price's Samlane Rosaleen. This young lady was not v co-operative when stacked but she moved v well, completely true fore and aft. Lovely type, good ribbing, attractive head, sweet expression, hope she starts to enjoy herself. She won this class on her movement; 2 Russell's Russteck Ophelia. Pretty p, 4th in p b, low to ground, good length of back, nice head and expression, balanced outline, unfortunately pins in behind, moves ok in front; 3 Hunt's Tysar Time Will Tell At Earthsea. PGB (8). 1 Blackburn and Bennett's Stargang Kasino Kween. I thought this young b was absolute lovely. She had everything I was looking for, beautiful head, sweet expression, good length of neck and back, excellent front assembly, tight elbows, good sternum, long smooth ribbing, well bent stifles, low to ground, super outline and side gait, moved happily with purpose. Well presented, CC and BOB. Congratulations to her young handler; 2 Rowells Kanix Linda At Emmajest. Attractive b, slightly shorter in back than 1 but she has many good qualities, neat front and excellent keel, well ribbed, level topline, good angulation, moved well; 3 Kay's Shardagang Lickrish Twista For Kaytian. LB (8). 1 Horswell's Drakesleat Voo Lay Voo. Attractive b, lovely expressive head, good length of neck and back, neat front, ribbing carried back, level topline, good turn of stifle, preferred her length over 2, moved well; 2 Thorn and Andrew's Drakesleat On Croot. Fairly similar in many respects to 1, not her length, liked her head and expression. Lovely front and feet, level topline, well bent stifles, well presented and moved true fore and aft; 3 Price's Samlane Pink Gin. OB (8). 1 Thorn and Andrew's Ch Drakesleat Lettuce Inn. Worthy champion, super outline, low to ground, excellent front, tight elbows, ribs carried well back, good length of back, level topline, in good coat and condition. RCC: 2 Hutching's Ch Molloney Zena Ghost. Super movement with drive and purpose, low to ground, nice outline, good length, well bent stifles, preferred forehand of 1. Quality girl; 3 Wilberg's Kanix Kalinka.
