MINIATURE WIRE HAIRED
I enjoyed judging these today. The outlines on most were good, too many, however, have very weak backends, this showing up on the table, and certainly on the move, with some not coping too well on the uneven ground. All were in good firm condition.
MPD (3) 1 Miller’s Palsuz Little Red Devil. Good neck and shoulder angulation, kept his topline well on the move, enjoyed his day out and moved well. 2 Price’s Samlane Tetley. This puppy again had a super topline and most pleasing outline, beaten on shoulder angulation of above and not so confident as winner. 3 Presnail’s Taree Lauriston.
PD (3) 1 Thorn-Andrews’ Drakesleat Rolling Stone. Just could not take my eyes off this puppy. His classic shape and the best of shoulders and excellent front, keeps his topline when stacked and moving, well muscled quarters, gave him freedom and the soundest of movement. Pleased to award CC and BOB. Shall watch his assured progress with great interest. 2 Howell’s Fallowmill Je Ronnie Mo. Correct proportions to head, not so good in eye shape as above, good outline and neat hocks, sound front but not the shoulder angulation of above. 3 Shaw’s Cilnant Happy Harry.
JD (4) 1 Poxon’s Kapodach Chip And Pin. Very good head and expression and dark eyes, muscular neck, sound front with gracefu lines into shoulder, well handled to show his attributes. 2 Black’s Bassodon Bilbie. Close up on winner and similar critique could apply. Just on final movement was not as positive in front, shown in great condition and was well handled. 3 Puckett’s Molloney Willy Wayme.
SBD This was a poor class today. 1 Hunt’s Tysar Secret Agent At Earthsea. Won this class on his movement, which was at least sound, pleasing neck and shoulders, good feet, shown in form body condition. 2 Oram’s Rosswell Luciano. I thought this would be my winner as he is very lovely stood with good balance to body ratio, he really did not like the ground and insisted on going really wide behind today, shown well.
PGD (4) 1Kugow & Holt’s Waldmeister Henry. This dog is an eye catcher with his superb shape and firm topline which he keeps at all times. One of the best conditioned dogs here today, should have a good career ahead. 2 Howell’s Fallowmill Nutz About Toffy ShCM. Very pleasing all round type, should appeal to many, prominent breast bone, good keep, sound firm back end, not quite the upper arm of above, shown in top condition. 3 Punter’s Welcumen Oscar.
LD (2) 1 Russell’s
Russteck Fillibeg JW. Eye catching black and tan, super head and darkest of
eyes, strong neck, angulation to shoulder, firm level topline, he moves freely
and this boy has arrogance, another that could make up. 2 Miller’s Bothlyn
Timemaster At Sharplaw. Correct head shape but lighter in eye colour, strong
arched neck, sound front, lost firmness of topline on the move, looked better
stacked, strong quarters, well handled.
OD (7) 1 Barney & Sexton’s Molloney And Verrami. Liked this balanced
dog a lot, he has a long and low appearance but with compact well muscled body,
good shoulders and neat feet, he was in tip top condition, he moved well but at
times did not like the uneven ground and insisted on hopping and jumping around.
Deserved the Res CC and should do well when more settled. 2 Thorn-Andrews’ Ch
Drakexleat Cheez Doff. Good conformation with most pleasing head and expression,
strong jaw, sound, firm backend, not the freedom in stride, shown in good coat
and condition. 3 Hayward’s Foxearth News Flash.
Sp VD/B (1) 1 Douglas & Banks’ Torabbi Welsh Malt ShCM. This veteran was in susperb condition, good balance to shape with the straightest of toplines and slightly arched loin, he used his powerful rear well and was lovingly handled.
MPB (5, 1) I enjoyed judging the babies, some at there first show. 1 Price’s Samlane Touch Of Gin. This baby has all the makings of a quality one, very raw, but her lovely shape and outline gave her this class. She keeps her shape and firm topline on the move and really enjoyed her day out. 2 Shaw’s Rotella Remember. Not so relaxed today, being a little tense in her shape, excellent front and feet, firm topline, strong quarters, when relaxed started to move better, just a real baby who was well handled today. 3 Presnail’s Taree Lemonis.
PB (6, 1) 1 Robertson’s Soletrader Looby Lou. This bitch just thought the whole day was fun, she is so sassy, susper shaped bitch both stacked and when moving, in super body condition, one with a great future ahead, thrilled to award her the Res CC and I will definitely follow her progress. 2 Lancaster & Miller’s Drakesleat Stone Me With Pellismer. Quality bitch of good shape, loved her head and expression, very sound, angulated front, still a very soft and puppyish in topline as yet, moved well, unlucky to meet one. 3 Thompson’s Spengretta Lilly Lady. JB (9, 3) 1 Thorn-Andrews’ Drakesleat Miss Suebishy. The more I looked at this girl the more I liked her, she is totally functional and feminine, excellent ribbing and soundest of fronts, she had no hesitation to freely move in the uneven grass ring, shown in excellent harsh jacket. 2 Barney’s Verrami Kitsch N Cinque. Smaller typy bitch with most pleasing outline, clean front with superb topline, well muscled quarters, not quite the freedom of movement of one but should challenge her well on many occasions. 3 Shone’s Foxearth Little Flirt At Hanishan.
SBB (4) 1 Oram’s Rosswell Francesca. This girl is better to go over as she can lack enthusiasm in the whole procedure, good front and even keel, prominent breast bone, good feet, shown in firm body condition. 2 Shone’s Foxearth Fazemenot At Hanishan. A very confident super showgirl, liked her neck and sound front, higher on the leg than winner and not quite the even balance of above, shown in super firm muscled condition. 3 Hunt’s Tysar Time Will Tell At Earthsea.
PGB (8, 4) A good class I enjoyed judging. 1 Waite’s Molloney Sue Flay At Pedach. This showgirl looks great from every angle, balanced proportions, lovely headpiece, strong arched neck, shown in perfect condition, moved very well fore and aft, a little too proud of her tail today, did consider her for high awards today. 2 Howells’ Fallowmill Treacle Tart. Pleasing overall shape and balance with good fore hind, keeping her topline, not so good behind as quality bitch above, but shown in really good hard condition. 3 Jones’ Bimini Song And Dance.
LB (13, 6) Another class that I had to really concentrate on. 1 Kugow & Holt’s Waldmeister Mischka JW. Quality feminine girl in tip top condition, she fills the eye with her perfect balance, good prominent sternum, low keel, well muscled quarters, her coat texture was harsh, yes I really liked her and she was shown to perfection. 2 Russell’s Russteck Ophelia. The make, shape, size and balance were most pleasing, liked her head and expression, level topline, firm loin, well muscled quarters, not so good behind as above, did not like the rough grass, well handled and presented. 3 Miles’ Gunnrange Ophelia At Jaybiem.
OB (6, 1) 1 Thorn-Andrews’ Drakesleat Tea Leaf. This correct size and beautiful balance to shape girl was in great form, she has the most excellent ribcage with body sufficiently clear of ground to allow freedom of movement and she certainly can move, one of the few here today that actually enjoyed the rough terrain, shown in full coat and condition. Her 3rd CC. 2 Hutchings’ Ch Molloney Zena Ghose ShCM JW. Lovely classic bitch with clean shoulders, prominent sternum, levelest of toplines, strong quarters, she had literally just blown her coat, although this did show her outline today. Just cost her any higher award. 3 Hayward’s Foxearth Foto Copy.
