MINIATURE WIREHAIRED
It has been quite a while since I
judged your charming variety and I can honestly say that I enjoyed my day.
Min/Wires are currently enjoying a rich vein in both numbers and quality, long
may it continue.
MPD (2) 1 Price, Samlane Tetley, correct in head with good eye, has
plenty of neck, well ribbed with good body length, standing on good bone and
feet, moved out soundly both ways, presented in good jacket. 2 Young, Nordach mr
Muffin of Tarkus, masculine head, ribs ok, showing well, just preferred the
better length in body of "Tetley".
PD (5) 1 Wilberg, Kanix Oscar, super youngster, correct head
proportions with a keen eye, excellent length in neck and body, well bent
stifles with short strong parallel hocks, keeps his topline at all times and
moving with true drive and purpose. Presented in good harsh coat, Best Puppy,
one I’m sure that will go all the way. 2 Hassall & McLeod, Sidelock Formula One,
my notes say good for type, excellent outline, correct in head, good bone and
feet, unfortunately just not putting all in on the move. 3 Howells, Fallowmill
Je Ronnie Mo.
JD (5) A good class. 1st Poxon Kapodach Chip and Pin, I was well taken
with this young exhibit, super head qualities, neck and forechest, good over all
construction and outline, moved out with style, presented in good order, just a
little more time needed to complete the picture, one for the note book. 2 Kugow
& Holt, Waldmeister Henry, another exhibit that has lots to admire, correct
head, good eye and expression, excellent front and top line, well ribbed, good
bone and feet, moved out well both ways, close up to winner. 3 Young, Barney of
Tarkus.
PGD (4) 1 Kugows Holt, Walmeister Henry 2 MacDonald, Varrich Ben Lui,
pleasing head and eye with good over all outline, good bone and feet, well bent
stifles, moved out soundly. 3 Howells, Fallowmill Nutz About Toffy
LD (3) 1 Russell, Russteck Fillibeg, correct in head, eye and
expression, good neck, fore chest and ribbing, correct bone and feet, moved well
going away ok coming back, kept a good outline on the go around, well presented.
2 MacDonald, Bothlyn Black magi at Holtrand, very similar in type to the winner,
presented in good coat and moved out well. 3 Moore Danvicher Bergamot.
OD (4) First and second are both top flight males. 1 Blackburn Ch
Stargang Malachite, quality exhibit all through, well balanced head, dark eye,
keen expression, super neck and shoulders, excellent body with very good ribs.
He has a well angulated rear with short parallel hocks. He stands on quality
bone with well padded feet, on the move he puts 100% in with good rear drive and
forward reach. On the go around he has attitude to spare, CC BOB. 2 Horswell,
Iwama, Jap Ch Drakesleat JP Trier Winshoten, another top draw exhibit. First
class head qualities, lovely eye and expression, excellent front and forehand,
good in body and ribs, spot on top line, leading to a well angulated rear. Again
he has quality bone and feet, technically he is very sound, presented in fine
form. Today just lost out to the enthusiasm of "Malachite" Res CC. 3 Kugon,
Waldmeister Jackson.
MPB (5) Class of promising young ladies. 1 Blackburn, Stargang Tuesday
Child, a delightful young lady, quality all through, excellent head and eye and
expression, very good neck and shoulder. She has good body length, a well
angulated rear with short strong hocks. Kept her top line on the go around,
presented in fine order, should have a bright future. 2 Robertson, Soletrader
Looby Lou, another eye catcher, quality head, good neck and fore chest. On the
stack looks stunning, just lost top line on the go around, when she firms up
this will correct itself. 3 Price, Samline Touch of Gin.
PB (6) 1 Young, Tarkus Mystique, correct in head and eye, good length
in neck, over all good body length, very good top line leading to a well
angulated rear. Moved out ok both ways. 2 Howells, Fallowmill Mini Ha Ha, fair
exhibit all through for breed type, would benefit for more length in for face to
balance up head, moving ok but tended to carry tail rather high.
JB (3) Two quality girls. 1 Poxon, Kapadach Sukiyaki, very pleasing
head and eye with a lovely expression, clean in shoulder with a well filled fore
chest, good outline on the stack, well bodied and ribbed, excellent top line
leading to a well developed rear with short parallel hocks. Moved out with drive
and forward reach to win this class. 2 Black & Balck, Basson Dita Von Teese,
quality girl all through, has lots to admire, good over all make and shape,
presented in excellent order just wished she put more in on the move. 3 McLeod,
Sidelock Do I look Bovverd.
PGB (9) Strong class. 1 Marston-Teal, Lodscairne Love Diamonds, quality
exhibit, correct in head and eye with a keen expression, well filled fore chest,
good ribs top line and tail set. She has quality bone and neat feet, good over
all profile on the stack and was presented in fine form. She out moved all in
this class to win. Personally I would have preferred just a bit more body length
to be considered for a higher award. 2 Coles, Kanix Nelly at Westone Lee,
another good over all exhibit, feminine head qualities, good eye and expression,
well filled fore chest, firm top line with a well angulated rear, moved out well
both ways showing good rear drive. 3 Feetham. Russteck Melody at Kimbleholme.
LB (10) By now the heat was starting to takes its toll on some exhibit,
so allowance had to be made. 1 Kugon Holt, Waldmeister Mishka, quality exhibit
all through and good to go over. Feminine balanced head with a dark eye and good
expression. Excellent in front assembly with a well filled fore chest, good
ribbing and body, level top line and well developed quarters. Put her best foot
forward to claim this class, presented in excellent condition. 2 Wilberg, Kanix
Mary, another quality exhibit from this kennel, has lots to admire, excellent to
go over, lovely outline and balance, close call between winner. With normal luck
should gain her crown. 3 Russell, Russteck Ophelia.
OB (6) Now the heat was really on! 1 Wilberg Kanix Kalinka, has
all the hall marks of a true miniature. Quality in head, eye and expression,
excellent front assembly body and top line, a well developed rear with short
hocks, she has quality bone with good feet, her coat is spot on for texture and
was well presented. Moved out with purpose on the out and back and kept a good
profile on the go around. Pleased to award her the cc. Told after judging that
this makes her a "Champion". Congratulations. 2rd Horswell, Draksleat Voo Lay
Voo, another quality exhibit that is pleasing on the eye, lovely to go over and
there is nothing to change, super head qualities, front assembly, has a good
body, top line and tail set, stands on quality bone with well padded feet, close
call RCC. I’m sure her crown is just around the corner. 3 Blackburn-Bennett,
Stargang Kasino Kween, completing a trio of quality girls.
