MINIATURE WIRE HAIRED
I was pleased to note there were no thin exhibits, all were well covered. Temperaments were excellent. Front and rear movement was poor. I look for a well balanced, free mover and these were sadly lacking. Also toplines need to improve. MPD (5) 1 Young's Tarkus Windy Miller. Smart small brindle. Pleasing head, nice top and underline, good shoulder placement. Moved out well behind. Could improve in front. BP. 2 Moore's Danchivar Feverfew. Pleasing head, good front, well off for bone. Dips in topline on the move. PD (3) 1 Young's Tarkus Harvest Gold. Nice head, well presented and balanced. Moved well keeping a good outline. 2 Moore's Danchivar Euphrasia. Nice head, well off for bone. Lost topline on the move. 3 Archer's Roamanbay Rocky Horror. JD (6) 1 Thorn-Andrews Dreakesleat Win A Lot. Super youngster, clean outline, pleasing head, good shoulder placement, good bone, strong hindquarters, shown in good coat. Stylish mover. Sure to live up to his name. CC. BOB and BIS. 2 Morton / Dudgeon's Jolanda Oliver Sudden. Nice type, good head and expression, top and underline o.k., moved out well. Good behind but pins in front. 3 Young/Otter's Nordach Mr Muffin Of Tarkus. PGD (2) 1 Hassall/McLeod's Sidelock Formula One. Sound all over, well ribbed, good balance, correct top and underline, moved well keeping a good outline. 2 Miller's Bothlyn Black Raven At Sharplaw. Good overall balance, prominent forechest. Movement let him down, needs to improve behind. LD (5) 1 Kugow/Holt's Waldmester Henry JW. Caught my eye. Classic head, good length of neck, not overdone in any way, strong hindquarters, lovely wire coat, sound mover. RES CC. 2 Black's Bassodon Bilbie. Nice type, pleasing head, good shoulder, level topline, nice sweeping underline, shown in good jacket, sound mover. 3 Russell's Russteck Fillibeg. OD (2) 1 Thorn-Andrews Dreakesleat Rolling Stone. Attractive head, sound front, good bone, nice quarters, well balanced and moved well. Tall enough. MPB (7) 1 Howell's Fallowmill India. Very attractive, good head, prominent forechest, overall outline fine, correct movement. 3 Spencer's Bannonbrig Maisie Blue. PB (7) 1 Hassall/McLeod's Sidelock Miss Dame Ena. Nice head and expression, good level topline, plenty of bone, good jacket, showed well. Would like better hind movement. 2 Hayward's Foxearth Fee'Ling. Excellent overall type, larger than 1st but sound, level topline, nice ribbing, looked good in profile. 3 Archer's Roamanbay Rock Chick. JB (10) 1 Russell's Russteck Thistledown.
