MINIATURE WIRE HAIRED
Since I last judged this variety I found quite a noticeable difference in type. The taller, with less forechest, more terrier like. And the lower to ground, well angulated, but still with the correct ground clearance required per the newly updated breed standard. mpd (5,2) 1 Howells Fallowmill Back and Fetch. Very promising youngster, well balanced, sound on the move with a good head and eye. BP dog and BP in breed 2 Dance's Deepdax Overdraft Too Far Emem. Looked good stacked, very much still a bumbly babe on the move. Harsh coat, masculine head. 3 Billinghurst's Drakesleat A Real Knockout at Jiljac. PD (4) 1 Fallowmills Back and Fetch. 2 Thorn-Andrews. Drakesleat Otton Me Scent. Smart youngster, posed he was the correct shape but lost it slightly on the move. No doubt he will tighten up as matures. Correct conical shaped head and eye. Well off for bone. 3 Douglas & Banks Kmai Razzle Dazzle of Torabbi PGD (2) 1 Blackburn-Bennett's. Wyndsmoor Mr Chips at Stargang. Quality all through, looked a picture stacked. Very sound on the move, well presented in good coat r es CC 2 Robertson's Winston Bryn. Taller type, nice head and eye not the forechest of class winner. LD (2) 1 Miller's Palsuz Little Red Devil. Lower to ground which gave him the class. Good ribbing and topline, little light in body. 2 Price's Samlane Tetley. Correct head and eye, good hard coat, immaculately presented, sound free mover. OD (5,1) 1 Thorn-Andrews Ch Drakesleat Win Alot A delight to go over. His construction is so correct. My hands just flowed from the tip of his nose to the end of his tail. The breed is fortunate to have a male of such quality. He moved with purpose without putting a foot wrong. CC BOB and res BIS. 2 Blackburn-Bennett Stargang Tigers Eye. Another lovely exhibit, looked good stacked, was taller on the move. Handsome head. Expertly presented, as one has come to expect from this kennel. 3 Smith's Dunnspitts Zakajak V (2) 1 Dance's Dacatec Mindypeasncues Emem. Hard to believe this lovely bitch is nine years old, she moved with such enthusiasm. lovely head and eye, harsh coat, lower stationed. 2 Kugow & Holt's Waldmeister Liberty Another happy lady who kept her shape on the move and stacked MPB (4,2) 1 Blackburn's Sandanca Lilly at Stargang. Happy baby who has a lot to offer, correct construction fore and aft. Sound on the move when she decided to cooperate. 2 Chapman Tythe Sizzles With Berrybreeze. Dapple with correct harsh double coat. Taller type not the angulation fore and aft of class winner. Well handled PB (2,1) 1 Thorn-Andrews Drakesleat Phyllis Tyne.B/Tan whose construction was hard to fault, feminine head, good length of neck, happy temperament, coat texture hard. JB (6) 1 Chugg's Templestone Ophelia. Very nice bitch who just needs more confidence. Presents a lovely shape stacked and on the move femine outlook correct angulation at both ends. 2 Kugow & Holt's Waldmeister Steffi JW. Neat feminine, with good bone, coat was correct and presented to perfection 3 Howells Fallowmill Miss Govey PGB (8) 1 Billinghurst's Drakesleat Russia Bout to Jiljac. First of two lovely bitches, super bone, correct shoulders and kept a correct topline at all times 2 Blackburn Shardagang Mayhem. Very smart bitch of lovely proportions, stacked could have won the class, just a little exhuberant on the move so made it more difficult to assess. 3 Price Samlane Touch of Gin LB (4) 1 Horswell's Drakesleat Knot on Yer Nelly. Not a glamorous bitch, but very sound. Best front in this class. Another from this kennel with good shoulders, good length of ribbing but deeper in brisket. 2 Roberts Drakesleat Win'er Take All to Swansford. Pity she was rushed in the ring which did not give her time to settle.Nevertheless it was easy to appreciate her many attributes. Very feminine, preferred her front and eye which gave her this placing. 3 Kugow & Holt's Waldmeister Guillemot JW OB (5,1) 1 Thorn-Andrews Drakesleat Winsum Losesum. So feminine, correct conical head and almond eye, decent length of neck, leading into correct shoulders. Beautifully balanced hindquarters, Moves true coming and going, profile was correct at all times. Was happy to award her bitch CC 2 Dance's Emem Sunny Spells. Close up to class winner, I particularly liked her front construction, just lost out on slightly less hind angulation, nonetheless moved actively with style.Res CC 3 Marston-Teal Lordscairnie Love Diamonds
