PD  (7,1) 1 Puckett’s Foxearth Free as a Bird. Lovely b and t  who is all of a piece. Harsh jacket and nicely angulated both ends. Went well and should mature well. BPD. 2 Whitehouse’s Rioban Ottokar. Very nice overall. Preferred hind angulation of first. Again should mature well. 3 Young’s Portalutra Mr Thomas of Tarkus.

JD (5,1) 1 Williams & Rose’s Sadanca Addison at Thythe. Lovely youngster looked very nice when relaxed going round. Lovely head and reach of neck. Good angulation and ribbing. Sound fore and aft and looked good in profile. 2  Baxter’s Hotwire Didja Ever. Overall very nice and sound. Nicely angulated, preferred head and jacket of first. 3 Kugow & Holt’s Waldmeister Samuel.

PGD (5,2) 1 Punter’s Welcumen Jeremy. Lovely young brindle with a harsh jacket. So well muscled with very good angulation both ends. Well filled front and altogether very nice. 2 Baxter’s Kapodach Love me Tender at Hotwire. Another lovely youngster who was well angulated with length and breadth of ribbing. Lost out to 1 as not moving as freely. 3 Howell’s Fallowmill Back and Fetch JW Sh Ch.

LD (3,2) 1 Thorn Andrews’ Drakesleat Otton the Scent. Lovely brindle youngster. Sound fore and aft. Very good shoulder placement with length and depth of ribbing. Nicely angulated both ends. Well filled front with good height to length ratio. Liked him a lot. Lost out as in the challenge not moving as freely as he Res CC winner.

OD (5,1) 1 Thorn Andrews’ Ch Drakesleat Win a Lot. Truly lovely youngster who shouts masculinity and I do love a masculine hound. Body proportions are impressive with a beautiful head and reach of neck. Moved around the ring with presence and style. Dog CC and BOB. 2 Black’s Bassodon Bilbie. Lovely compact Brindle. Lovely head, well filled front well angulated and very sound. Moved around the ring with style on a loose lead and his outline won him res CC. 3 Young’s Barney Rubble of Tarkus.

PB (18,2) 1 Poxon’s Kapodach Cup Cake. Two gorgeous bitches who headed a wonderful class. They were very difficult to separate and I am sure they will change places frequently. Both with beautiful heads, lovely outlines and sound. Both with excellent shoulder placement and well angulated rears. I felt 1st had slightly more elegance in profile when going round but was nit picking here. Cup Cake BPB & BP. 2 Thorn Andrews’ Drakesleat Rupee Wax. 3 Sexton’s Molloney Kiss Andtell.

JB (6,1) 1 Blackburn-Bennett’s Stargang Lady Gaga. Impressive elegant bitch who has all the essentials. Her profile is truly lovely and she is so sound. Best of fronts and her reach of neck adds to her beautiful body proportions. Could not be denied Bitch CC. 2 Walker’s Deepdax in the Red at Roselle. Different type to 1 but still most attractive, well off for bone. Good length to height proportions and altogether very nice. 3 Hooper’s Starhill Comedy of Errors.

PGB (9,1) 1 Poxon’s Kapodach Izzi Miyaki. Grizzle bitch who is all of a piece and sound. Lovely body proportions. Good ribbing well filled front liked her a lot. 2 Meredith’s Deepdax Credit Crunch. Similar remarks apply but I preferred the follow through in underline of 1. A lovely bitch with very good angulation. 3 Dunn’s Barratini Bumble at Ashridge JW.

LB (4,1) 1 Marston-Teal’s Lordscairnie Love of My Life. Two different types here. 1 won her place on shoulder placement. Sound bitch again with good angulation who went well. 2 Billinghurst’s Drakesleat Russia Bout to Jiljac JW ShCM. Rangier type but overall presenting a very nice outline. Good reach of neck. Nice length with good ribbing and good bone. 3 McLeod’s Sidelock Do I Look Bovvered.

OB (6,2) 1 Thorn Andrews’ Drakesleat Sally Forf. Two beautiful bitches both with lovely heads and reach of neck. Both harsh jackets going well round the ring. I felt the 1 was better in her rear angulation and preferred free flowing movement of 1 and her overall length and style. Res cc. 2 Blackburn-Bennett’s Stargang Diamond Star. 3 Morrison’s Ir Ch Auchans Mighty Mouse CW 10 CW 09.
