MINIATURE WIRE HAIRED
The quality of the exhibits here allowed me to be picky about coats, so otherwise good dogs didn't take the top spots. The bitches were in fine shape, so with the help of a few clever breeders, I feel the future - with care - can be good for Mini Wires overall, considering my winners here. Vet 1 Dance's Dacatec Mindyapeasandcues Enem. A very nice 10 year old. Good clean teeth, super wire coat. Moved and showed well, not looking her age at all. MPD 1 Deepdax Overdraft Too for Enem. Super dark brindle dog of 7 months. Good coat, very sound puppy with a lovely temperament, showing lots of promise. 2 Howell's Fallowmill Back and Fetch. Another nice minor puppy with a good coat. Super front and moving true in hindquarters too. Again full of promise. 3 Ward-Blower's Whitewebbs Painted Black Willowmist. PD 1 Thorn-Andrews' Drakesleat Otton the Scent. Super little brindle, good shoulders and great ribbing. All this producing a lovely outline standing and moving. 2 Whitehouse's Drakesleat Ottoff the Press. No wonder my notes read both very nice, one rather lower, they are litter brothers, which made for a close decision. Same required attributes apply, two very nice puppies. 3 Howell's Fallowmill Back and Fetch. JD 1 Hardy's Kushwin Gamekeeper. This dog could lose a little weight and would still be well covered and look very sound. Loved his outline on the table, good coat. Super ribbing and just as good on the move, a very nice dog. 2 Blackburn-Bennett's Wyndsmoor Mr Chips. A very showy dog, slightly lower than the winner. Good head and coat. Not quite as settled as the winner but I am sure they will change places many times. Rather proud of his tail on the day. 3 Phillips' Malloney Andy Man. pgd 1 Moores' Danvichas Euphrasia. A correct sized dog with a good front and head. Super coat, moved and showed well. 2 Baxter's Kapodach Love Me Tender at Hotwire. A little softer in coat. A picture on the table, good in all requirements - two nice dogs. 3 Hill and Niall's Drakesleat Brassedoff. LD 1 Blackburn-Bennett's Stargang Tigers Eye. Res CC. A picture on the table. Good head and forechest, showed and moved off sound hindquarters with confidence and style. A very nice Mini Wire. 2 Black's Bassodon Bilbie. Loved this dog's head, has all the attributes of the winner, two very nice dogs, but the winner had the style on his side on the day. A close choice. 3 Price's Samlane Tetley. A nice trio. OD 1 Thorn-Andrew's Ch Drakesleat Win A Lot. The first impression was what a super head and forechest, good ribbing and coat. Moved as a dog made so well should. I loved him. CC and BOB. 2 Smith's Dunns Pitts Zakajak. I would like a harsher coat. Looked good standing and moving, unlucky to meet the winner. 3 Horswell and Iwam's Ch Jap Ch Drakesleat JP Trier Wonshoten. MPB 1 Shaw's Mustdach Happy Go Lucky. Two very nice puppies and I was splitting hairs. The winner was just a bit more confident on the day. Both have good coats on the way. Happy Go Lucky is a very sound baby with good ribbing and driving off correct hindquarters. Best Puppy, well done. 2 Meredith's Deepdax Credit Crunch. These two will chabge places many times, I am sure. Another pup with lots of promise, with a delightful temperament as most of this breed seem to have. 3 Blackburn's Sundanca Lilly at Stargang. PB 1 Harker's Madoka Tula Sparkle. Again a very nice puppy. Good front and well ribbed. Good coat, moved and showed with confidence, shows great promise. 2 Atter's Portalectra Sasha Imi. Rather more mature than the winner, with a good head, front and shoulders. Super on the move and shown with confidence. 3 Walker's Deepdax In the Red at Roselle. JB 1 Jones' Bimini Rhapsody in Blue. What a sound little bitch, super coat and head, great ribbing and moved and showed well. Not a very big girl but big on quality, well done. A good win in such a quality class, good luck with her for the future. Bitch CC. 2 Thorn-Andrews' Starhill Lady of the Lake at Drakesleat. I was pleasantly surprised at the soundness of this little choc girl. Super head, front well ribbed and very nice on the move. Will hold her own in the ring, no doubt, changing places many times. 3 Barney's Ava Nuvver Romaunt. Three very fine examples of the breed. PGB 1 Hardy's Kushwin Firefly. Looked a picture on the table. Good front, ribbing and she stood and moved well. A very sound little bitch who stood four square in a good wire coat. 2 Blackburn's Shardagang Mahem. Another very sound bitch, splitting hairs with these two. Same required attributes apply and in correct coat. 3 Billinghurst's Drakesleat Russia About to Jiljac. LB 1 Hipkin's Metrella Wots Its Name. Res CC. A very nice balanced and sound bitch, correct coat and ribbing. Moved well, a very honest, quality Mini Wire. Notes read two very nice bitches both stood four square on a loose lead. 2 Horswell's Dreakesleat Knot on Yer Nelly. My previous remarks apply, probably because these super little bitches have the same sire. The winner just has more confidence at the moment, will no doubt change places many times. 3 Jones' Bimini Rhythm N Blues. Dam of my Bitch CC. OB 1 Miles' Gunnrange Ophelia with Jaybeim. A very sound and showy bitch whi kept the required outline moving and standing. She obviously has everything in the right place to win a class of such quality. The first three were good examples of the breed, in correct wire coats. 2 Thorn-Andrews' Winsum Losesum. Notes read spoilt for choise, a very good class in which a second was a worthy place. Both stood four square on a loose lead and presented a lovely outline. Well done. 3 Dance's Enem Sunny Spells. Brace 1 Price's Mini Wires. 2 Ward-Blower's Mini Wires. 3 Wright's Mini Smooths.
