Miniature Wire Haired

My overall impression is that  this breed has stood still without much improvement since the last time I  judged them two years ago. Coats have improved,and weights were not a problem,  but not much else, other than the small few who seem to be at the top end of  the scale of this breed. I was pleased with my principal winners and if you can  embrace some of these virtues in future breeding then I'm sure things will  improve. PD (2,1a) 1 Fultons Bothlyn Brigadoon. Brindle coat of good  texture Strong head, well off for bone. Body length of correct proportions but  did over stretch on the stack. Well balanced. Good quarters. Moved with drive.  Promising youngster. JD(4,2a) 1 Kugow & Holt  Waldmeister Johnson. Well coated,super  texture, Strong masculine head, long neck. Well set shoulder placement. Deep  oval keel with the ribbing going far back. Level top line held on the move.  Covered the ground well with his strong quarters. His presence was excellent.  Pleased to award him the CC. 2 Thorn Andrews, Drakesleat Round Robin.  Nicely   balanced young dog, good coat. Strong head  level top line  a lot to  like, but preferred the quarters and drive of   1. ND (1) 1 Bothlyn Brigadoon. PGD (3,1a) 1 Paytons Marajo  Harris Tweed. Brindle coat of good texture, good shoulder placement, deep keel  Level top line kept on the move, moved well. 2 Baxters  Hotwire Didja Ever. Light brindle coat  Nice head good length of neck well balanced  good length of ribbing reaching far back. Good driving movement. LD (3,1a) 1 Kugow & Holt's Waltmeister Samuel. Super coated brindle Very  masculine. Strong head and expression, well balanced. Good depth of keel with  ribbing far back.Well off for bone. Strong quarters smartly driven movement. 2  Baxters  Kapodach Love Me Tender at  Hotwire. Light brindle coat Reasonable length of neck.A little straight in  shoulder placement Level top line. Good spring of ribbing  Was a little timid. Moved well. OD (3) 1 Dances Deepdax Overdraft to Far Emem   Very sound dog.dark brindle  good  size and type. Soundly constructed, strong neck well placed shoulders, well  balanced giving a pleasing outline. Strong quarters gave unexaggerated driving  movement. Well desevered R CC. 2 Thorn Andrews Drakesleat Ottoff the Press.  Nice coated brindle Strong head good length of neck, well off for bone. Nice  depth of keel moved well but preferred the movement of 1. 3 Blackburn-Bennett  & Kuranova's CH Stargang Tigers Eye. MPB (4) 1 Dances Emem Candy  Sunshine  Super youngster brindle coat  of excellent texture good type and size feminine head with a nice dark eye.  Well developed keel which overall gave her a well balanced picture. Good strong  quarters and good movement. BP. 2 Kugow & Holts Stargang Verawang Bei  Waldmeiste. A very raw baby  needs to  body up  but has good bone and  conformation, strong top line and she was in proportion, and equally  balanced  Strong quarters gave super  drive. 3 Baxters Hotwire Magic Midge. PB (2) 1 Jones'Carlita Bewitched.  Brindle coated which had just been stripped, Good feminine head,strong neck  well off for bone good keel and level top line. Longin back moved with drive. 2  Baxters Hotwire All Shook Up. Shorter type than 1  and not as strong in keel. Level top line well off for bone, Feminine  head. Not the drive of 1. JB (7,2a)  Good class. 1 Thorn Andrews Drakesleat Trix of the Trade. Super  type, brindle coated lovely feminine head with a nice dark eye. Super  conformation. Well placed shoulders deep keel well balanced Strong quarters  giving strong drive. 2 Marston-Teal's Lordscairnie Love Life. Similar in type  to 1 slightly longer well coated level top line, well placed shoulders but  preferred  the shoulder layback of 1. 3  Barney Verrami Domestic Goddess. NB (3) 1 Fultons Bothlyn Wild Rose  Attractive type short coated. Very feminine head with a dark eye. Good  shoulders level top line correct shoulder placement strong rear quarters  Moved with drive. 2 Daykins Ashridge Dun  Danzin At Barrantini well coated brindle   feminine head with a nice dark eye. Deep keel leading to a nice depth of  ribbing.  Well balanced, Prefered the  movement of 1. 3 Dunns Ashridge Dun Dustine. PGB (5) 1 Fultons Bothlyn  wild Rose. 2 Walkers Deepdax in the Red at Roselle. Well coated brindle nice  type  Feminine head with a dark eye,well  off for bone  level top line well  balanced Prefered the quarters and drive on 1. 3 Holgates Nadavin Stuana. LB (7) 1 Thorn-Andrews Drakesleat Mass Wisteria. Delightful young girl who stood  out in this class  Feminine through and  through. Lovely size very Houndy super reach of neck and good underline. well  balanced and the conformation is excellent. Sound strong quarters gave an  excellent driving movement. CC & BOB. 2 Marston-Teal Lordscairnie Love of  my  Life  Well coated brindle feminine head deep keel level top line nice  underline moved with drive Prefered the quarters on 1. 3 Meredith  Deepdax Credit Crunch. OB (6) 1  Blackburn-Bennett Ch Stargang Lady Ga Ga   Good coated  Feminine head dark  eye Strong neck into well laid back shoulders.Well balanced level top line  strong quarters used to the limit to give faultless movement. RCC. 2  Thorn-Andrews  Drakesleat Rupee Wax.  Nice type good conformation well balanced. Good top and underline, giving a  nice standing outline. Sound movement from excellent rear quarters. Preferred  the movement of 1. 3 Dunns Barrantini bumble at Ashridge
