A big thank you to the exhibitors, for such a lovely entry. I had a wonderful day with some top quality dogs to handle. Also, thank you to my two Stewards, Mr K Carter and Mr P Broadbent. MPD (3) 1 Dunn's Barratini Danz on to Ashridge (B). This youngster is so well balanced. I loved his head and expression. Neck falls into well placed shoulders, good front, legs and feet. A well ribbed body, and good quarters which enabled effortless, sound, free movement. 2 Hunt's Earthseas Bobby Sox (B). Another promising youngster of good make and shape. Pleasing in head with a good dark eye. Neck falls into well laid shoulders, good front assembly and ribbing. Kept topline well on the move, and he moved with purpose. PD (5) 1 Thorn-Andrews Drakesleat Fifty Scents. A very eyecatching dark Brindle dog, with a fabulous headpiece. Neck falls into well placed shoulder. Good front and ribbing, and so well balanced throughout. Well-muscled hindquarters with sound free flowing movement, which completes the picture. A Star in the wings. 2 Dunn's Barratini Danz onto Ashridge. YD (2) 1 Hunt Earthseas Pocket Rocket (B). A stylish dog with a good head and intelligent expression. Neck falls into well placed shoulder. Good front, legs and feet. Good length of ribbing and well-constructed hindquarters, which enable him to move with purpose and drive. 2 Hayward's Taree Scoville at Wirefusion (B). Typical headpiece with a good eye and earset. Good oval front and shoulder placement. I would have just liked a better outline when stacked and on the move. PGD (2,1) 1 Baxter's Hotwire Didja Ever (B). Pleasing Head shape and eye. Strong neck, and good front construction. Well ribbed body, strong hindquarters, moved well. LD (2,1) 1 Kugowa Holt. Waldmeister Samuel JW (B). A very smart dog of continental type. Masculine head and correct eye shape. Good reach of neck into well laid shoulders. Correct angulation to front construction. Good length and depth of ribbing, with well-muscled quarters which complete the picture. He is business like in movement, and very sound. OD (6,2) 1 Thorn-Andrews. Drakesleat Win Tin Tin. I thought that this dog was a touch of class. Fabulous head and expression. Good length of neck, and first class shoulders. Good posternum and spring of rib. This dog is so well balanced and well-constructed, finishing off with super hindquarters which he uses so well on the move. What a picture! D.C.C. and B.O.B. 2 Blackburn's Stargang Crusoe. Another smart dog of good make and shape. Masculine headpiece with a good eye and ear set. Neck falls into good layback of shoulder. His construction throughout is excellent, and his movement is sound and true. R.C.C. MPB (9,2) 1 Hunt's Earthseas Lady Moonshine (B). A lovely class of youngsters to Judge, some behaving, some misbehaving, which is what you would expect, nevertheless I was very impressed with the standard. This was a feminine Bitch with a super headpiece, good reach of neck and well placed shoulders. Very tidy front legs and feet. Good length of ribbing with a lovely body shape and excellent rear which enabled her to move with plenty of drive. So sound. 2 Kugow & Holt's Waldmeister Annie. Another bitch which filled my eye. Presented in tip top condition and excellent coat. Lovely head and correct eye. Good reach of neck and shoulder. Moved freely around the ring, with good drive from correct quarters. Sound mover. PB (5) 1 Thorn-Andrews. Drakesleat Scents Sybil (B). Lovely feminine bitch teeming with quality. Well balanced in outline, with feminine head, long neck and firm front. Well placed shoulder, good length of ribbing and well-muscled quarters. Her movement was effortless and sound. 2 Poxon's Upto Mischief Diervilla via Kapodach (Imp.Pol). A lot to like about this stylish Bitch. Good head, eye and ear set. Lovely reach of neck, well placed shoulders and good ribbing. Good front assembly, legs and feet. Lovely topline and strong rear. Moved with attitude and drive. Very sound and lovely to watch. JB (4,2a) 1 Thorn-Andrews Drakesleat May Contain Nuts (B). I see that she is the litter sister to my D.C.C. winner. Elegant young lady, built on flowing lines. A feminine headpiece with an intelligent expression. Good length of neck and first class shoulders. Excellent front, correct depth of keel, super bodyshape, with strong loin. Very good angulation and quarters, which enabled her movement to be sound and true. R.C.C. 2 Rathbone's Fraulein Giselle at Brialind (B). A well balanced Bitch with a good head and correct eye. Good reach of neck and shoulder. Constructed well, with good length of ribbing and quarters. Moved with purpose around the ring. YB (4) 1 Daykin. Barratini Hot Gossip (B). This bitch is so well constructed throughout. Loved her headpiece and expression, and her reach of neck, along with first class shoulders. Good depth of keel and ribbing. Firm quarters complete the picture. She held the topline at all times on the move, with a sound, free, flowing movement. 2 Hunt. Earthseas Dark Sorcery (B). Pretty bitch with a pleasing head and correct eye and ear set. Good neck and shoulders, excellent front, legs and tight elbows. Good body shape and quarters. Easy on the eye when moving, and so sound. PGB (5,1) 1 Payton's Marajo Popcorn.(B) A stylish Bitch, both stacked and on the move. Pleasing head, eye and expression. Good reach of neck and shoulders. Good oval front and deep well sprung ribs. I Liked her well angulated rear quarters and she just fitted the bill, along with her sound free movement. 2 Blackburn's Banburg Black Opal at Stargang. Another sweet, feminine bitch. Headpiece and eye shape correct. Elegant neck falls into well placed shoulders. Good front, keel and ribbing. Pleasing topline and underline, with well developed hindquarters, moving soundly. LB (4) 1 Dance Emem Candy Sunshine (B). Just as I thought things couldn't get any better, in walked four glorious Bitch's, in tip top condition. It was not easy to split them. I am sure that they will change placing's, many times, have fun girls. This honest type of Bitch has a lovely head, eye and earset. A good reach of neck and excellent shoulders. Good front assembly, ribbed well back. First class quarters. She won this class on her excellent movement. 2 Price's Samlane Zaffiro. A lovely shaped bitch, shown in tip top condition. Classic head and good eye, long elegant neck and good shoulders. Good length of upper arm and ribbing. I loved this bitch's body shape and well muscled quarters. This bitch is so sound and free in her movement. OB (5) 1 Marston's Teal. CH Lordscairnie Love Life (B). A stunning bitch with lots of class. Lovely feminine headpiece, neck flows into well placed shoulders. Super front legs and feet. Her balance and outline is a joy to see and her rear quarters enable her to have sound, free flowing movement. Well-deserved B.C.C. 2 Blackburn Bennett. Ch Stargang Czarina (R). Another classy Bitch with a fabulous head-piece, good length of neck into excellent layback of shoulder. Good front assembly, good length of ribbing and a firm rear. Moved with drive and purpose.
