PD (1) 1 and DCC, Kent's Barratini Teddyboy At Lokmadi.
I absolutely adore this little Dachshund; he is the proper size and so much
a small version of the bigger size. Very nice head, very well set ears, good
neck and forehand, good feet. Excellent body and topline, well coupled and
strong hindquarters. Very good length of leg, a jolly little mover presented
in excellent coat.
JD (3, 1) 1 Miller's Palsuz Basil. B/t, very wirey
coated dog of very good size and make. Rather wide over the skull, making
for a strong head, very good neck and front, very good topline ad strong
hindquarters. Very sound on the move but could have reached out more in
front. 2 Beaucat Eddie Tor. A very youthful looking red dog, who moved out
very well for his owner. Nice head but bite not correct, with lower canines
going into the palate. Good front and topline, rather long in coupling,
strong hindquarters.
PGD (1) 1 Webster's Foxearth Fieldgun With Webline.
Very well constructed dog, rather overweight today. Very pretty head, good
neck and front, scores on his excellent coupling and topline, adequate
angulation of hindquarters. Very good mover, once he got going.
LD (3, 1) 1 Fallowmill Sergio. Slightly overweight but
otherwise an excellent specimen. Dog of lovely type and a very sensible and
calm character. Nice head, somewhat wide over the skull, very good neck and
forehand, excellent firm topline, well coupled and with strong hindquarters.
Very good mover, really reaching out well in front. 2 Taree Scoville At
Wirefusion. Carefully presented dog, also somewhat overweight. Reasonable
head and forequarters, could be better in topline, good hindquarters. Moved
well enough.
OD (5, 1) 1 and Res CC, Rose's Ridanflight Ricardo. I
really liked this well coupled little dog, another real little Dachshund.
Very nice head, good neck and forehand, excels in his body and topline and
all over proportions. Excellent feet and ground clearance. Excellent strong
hindquarters of more medium angulation. Presented in excellent harsh coat. 2
Ch Drakesleat Win Win Tin. Different proportions in this excellent dog; he
is longer in body and in coupling. Excellent head and expression, good neck
and forehand, also clearing the ground correctly. Excellent firm topline,
excellent strong hindquarters. Not in the coat of the winner. 3 Brindeckel
Diamond Geezer.
PB (2) 1 Kirkwood's Helydon Fabulous Freya. Very pretty
ten month old bitch of proper size and weight. Very pretty head, neck could
be longer for all over balance; well angulated front with very good feet and
proper ground clearance. Good and firm topline, very well coupled and with
nicely angulated hindquarters. Moved very well. 2 Leversha Lovable Brogue.
Very lightweight little girl, Very pretty head, bite not correct in that on
one side lower canine goes into the palate, nicely angulated forehand, with
good ground clearance, a bit shelly in body still. Good topline and
hindquarters. Moved well enough.
JB (3) 1 Watkins' Brookfield Lady Morgan Le Fay Of
Blackvein. 14 month old bitch of lovely outline and type, with an excellent
harsh coat. Pretty head, very good neck and forehand, with excellent feet
and good ground clearance. Excellent topline, excellent hindquarters used so
well on the move. 2 Plauz Meadow Sweet For Leversha. Very finely built
overall, with a very pretty head, good neck and front, pasterns could be
stronger. Good topline and hindquarters of more medium angulation.
PGB 1 Lancaster's Pellismer Stix N Stones. 22 month old
bitch of lovely type and make. Very nice head, somewhat forward set
forehand, excellent topline and coupling; nice strong hindquarters. Moved
very well. 2 Leversha's Moccasin Brie. Very well presented bitch, in lovely
coat and condition. Nice head, good front, somewhat forward set, good feet
and ground clearance. Good firm topline and hindquarters. Moved well. 3
Beaucat Wire Of The Wisp.
LB (5, 1) 1, CC and BOB, Thorn Andrews' Drakesleat
Fingers Xrossed. Only just out of Junior class, this bitch is very much what
I had been looking for, a really workmanlike little bitch of beautiful size,
type and construction. She simply oozes quality, is so well presented and is
in wonderful harsh coat and is well covered without being overweight.
Charming head and expression, good neck and forehand, good bone and feet,
excellent ground clearance. Good body on her, excellent firm topline ad
strong well angulated hindquarters. She moves with verve and freedom; yes, I
had no doubt about awarding her her second CC and I cannot imagine that her
third will come soon. A miniature version of a big Wire Dachshund. 2
Drakesleat Scent Sueall For Jiljac. In many ways a version of the winner;
this is a bitch who is a year older, so more mature. Very nice head, good
front and ground clearance. Excellent topline, somewhat shorter in coupling
and somewhat less angulation of hindquarters. Another very good mover 3
Pellismer Deals A Winner.
OB (2) 1 and Res CC, Thorn Andrews' Ch Drakesleat Scent
Sybil. Two year old bitch of the highest quality, unlucky to have met her
younger kennel mate. A very well balanced bitch. Of proper size and bone for
size. Lovely head and expression, good neck and forequarters. Excellent
feet. Possibly a better coupled bitch than the winner. Excellent firm
topline. Strong well angulated hindquarters. A beautiful bitch, in her
prime, and only beaten on small points. 2 Brindeckel I Love Lucy At Sylvax.
Five year old bitch, very pleasant and well balanced. Pretty head, good
front, but tends to be soft in pasterns today. Very good and firm topline
would like to see more angulation in rear quarters.
