I would like to say a big thank you to Bath Canine society for inviting me to judge Miniature Wire haired dachshunds at their well run and friendly show with excellent facilities. I really enjoyed the day, ending up with all quality main winners.
Class 1980 MPD (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 6974 RIGBY Miss J M Waldmeister George
Brindle boy 7 months, pleasing head and expression, enough neck, shoulder OK,
would have liked a shorter hock. Moved round freely.
Class 1981 PD (2 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 6948 FRY Miss C Bedeslea Charlibird Parker
Red brindle, masculine head, prominent forechest. Good body shape & quarters.
Moved round with drive, tends to carry his tail a little high.
Class 1982 JD (3 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 6979 THORN ANDREWS Mrs Z Drakesleat Hostile Takeova Smart brindle youngster
of good size. Correct shape of head, dark almond eye, good length of neck, into
clean shoulders and balanced although, true on the move.
2nd: 6960 LANCASTER Mrs G Pellismer Ottdeal Lovely brindle boy, good head on
lengthy neck. Good topline and quarters, moved out well. Preferred the front of
one.
3rd: 6962 LEWIS Mr D M Bastlefords Toffee Crips At Trixhund

1st: 6962 LEWIS Mr D M Bastlefords Toffee Crips At Trixhund Placed third in last
class. Fair head on nicely arched neck. Well presented and condition. Would like
more angulation to rear but moved quite well.

head and balanced sound body, bone and good coat, moved out with purpose.

1st: 6976 ROSE Mr S Ch Ridanflight Ricardo What a handsom male! Who excelled in
his excellent free flowing movement, masculine head, clean neck, into nicely
angulated shoulders. Good bone and substance, balanced body althrough, strong
rear, looked stunning in profile moving round DCC.
2nd: 6980 THORN ANDREWS Mrs Z Ch Drakesleat If Looks Cud Kill Another quality
boy, very nice head & neck. Super front construction, ribbing well back, neat
quarters. Moved soundly, just preferred freer movement of 1. RCC.
3rd: 6953 HAYWARD Mr R S Taree Scoville at Wirefusion

1st: 6945 DAYKIN Mrs C H Barratini Hot Stuff Cracking brindle puppy. Loved
everything about her, from head to tail, lovely head, clean neck, good body
proportions, neat quarters, moved so well, only being a baby but showing so much
potential, I’m sure a bright future ahead, Res CC and BP.
2nd: 6977 SALISBURY Mrs G E Barratini Hot Chick at Brocklewood Litter sister to
1, a lot of the same remarks but just preferred top and movement of 1.
3rd: 6972 PRICE Mr P J & Mrs N F Samlane Cressida
Class 1988 PB (2 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 6950 GARRITY Mrs J Macushia Melody Maker
Stood alone, however deserved her place. Sweet head and expression. Correct in
body shape and coat, moved well keeping a good outline.
Class 1989 JB (5 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 6957 HOWELLS Mrs J Fallowmill Carolina Good size quality youngster, feminne
head, dark almond eye, balanced in body with good topline & neat well angulated
quarters, moved true both ways.
2nd: 6983 TYLER Mr & Mrs AA & MA Drakesleat Hattie Tude Close up to 1, lovely
head & length of neck, into nicely angulated front and body proportions, just
preferred the extra drive in movement of 1.
3rd: 6947 FRANKS Mr & Mrs G J Lordscairnie Posh Love

angles to front and rear. Moved very well.

1st: 6973 PRICE Mr P J & Mrs N F Samlane Belleza A very nice brindle girl, a
good head and neck into well placed shoulders. Nicely angulated quarters, moved
with style, keeping her outline.
2nd: 6943 BECKETT Mr & Mrs J Beckshounds Under My Spell Another nice girl shown
in excellent condition, good size and front, moved well in profile.
3rd: 6951 GARRITY Mrs J Stargang Apple Crumble At Macushia

from this kennel, correct shaped head, long neck into true front construction.
Ribbing well back and well let down rear, moved true both ways, looked good in
profile.
2nd: 6965 MARSTON-TEAL Mrs S F Lordscairnie Rhythm of Love Also a quality girl,
correct head and eye, neat tight elbows and balanced in body, moved round well.
3rd: 6975 RIGBY Miss J M Waldmeister Maud For Rigadac

1st: 6982 THORN ANDREWS Mrs Z Ch Drakesleat Scent Sybil My star today, her shape
and balance is exceptional, she is so well put together, so clean to go over on
the table, on the move her true movement flows, keeping an excellent outline &
picture in profile, special girl. BCC and BOB.
2nd: 6946 DAYKIN Mrs C H Barratini Hot Gossip JW Nice, honest brindle girl,
stood and showed well, a lot to like, preferred topline of 1.
3rd: 6970 POWELL Miss B Forbell Maisy May
