Class 176 GCB NO ENTRIES |
Once again I was very pleased with my overall winners,
but sadly some exhibits had short upper arm, turned front feet and not
sufficient drive behind, heads on the whole were good, a few lacking in
underjaw. Most coats were well presented and harsh.
MPD (2) 1 Howell's Fallowmill Sydney. Very nice baby
with a good head and front, tight feet, sufficient keel and ribbing,
excellent coat, good topline and neat parallel hocks, moved well. 2 Hayward
& Howell's Fallowmill Canberra. Another nice puppy, litter brother to
winner, not quite the ribbing of my winner, puppy coat needs to come out,
lovely outline but needed to settle, moved well but not as strong behind as
his brother. Two sweet, promising puppies.
PD (3) 1 Feetham's Kimbleholme Jackpot. Nice head and
coat, good front and feet, well ribbed, tight in front movement and parallel
behind. Best PD. 2 Kugow & Holt's Waltmeister Darby. Pin wire, pleasing head
and outline, short upper arm, so not moving tight in front, would prefer
more keel, good hindquarters. 3 Rigby's Waldmeister George.
JD (3, 1) 1 Lewis' Bastleford's Toffee Crisp At
Trixhund. This red brindle dog was in need of his puppy coat coming out so
needed to be examined to appreciate his quality, nice head and good dark
eye, strong neck, very well made 14 mth old boy, plenty of keel and tight
feet, strong hindquarters, moving very well. Would like to see him when he
is tidied up. 2 Jones' Bimini Starstruck. Another nicely headed dog, not
quite the shoulders of the winner, but well ribbed and another one with good
strong hindquarters, moved well.
PGD (2) 1 Flowers & Soderberg's Baltiskey Talisman
Indiano Jones (Imp). Stood alone, brindle pin wire, nice head and sufficient
keel, rather short in upper arm, moved well behind, nicely ribbed and
retained outline on the move.
LD (4) 1 Grant's Barratini Ted Astaire At Granhoward.
This dog had a good head and eye, tight feet, well made front and good neck
and ribbing, parallel hocks behind, moved well. 2 Feetham's Bothlyn Wee Man
At Kimbleholme. Good head and eye, correct front and ribbing, good shape to
this dog but not the strong drive behind as the winner. 3 Smith's
Bingobongo's Gregory.
OD (4, 1) The winner here headed a class of three good
dogs. 1 Rose's Ch Ridanflight Ricardo. 2 yr old brindle of good size,
pleasing head and eye, good neck into well placed shoulders, tight feet,
very parallel hindquarters which he used well on the move, retained his
outline, good well presented coat, moved with strong drive. CC and BOB. 2
Barney's Verrami En Trac. Another lovely hound, unlucky to meet first, much
of the same applies, another balanced hound, good strong muscled
hindquarters, in excellent well presented coat. My winner just extended
slightly more in front, a super dog though. Res CC. Close decision. 3
Hayward's Foxearth Fiddler On The Roof.
MPB (5) 1 Flowers & Smith's Bingobongos Short And
Sweet. And she was! Lovely head and excellent harsh jacket, good neck and
front, well ribbed, tight feet, nice parallel hocks. Won this class on her
very good construction. 2 Morris' Pennywave Uptown Girl. Another sweet baby
with pleasing head, good front and feet, good coat, not quite the drive in
hindquarters of my winner. 3 Howells' Fallowmill Wagga Wagga.
PB (6) 1 Daykin's Barratini Hot Stuff. Lovely young
bitch, super for size and overall construction, good head and eye, strong
neck into well laid shoulders, good keel and ribbing, very good hocks which
she used so well, lovely outline. BP. Must have a bright future. 2
Blackburn's Stargang Liberty Belle. Another lovely youngster, unlucky to
meet the winner, good coat, pleasing head and eye, nice tight feet and well
ribbed, good outline, lovely type, just a little less drive behind of my
winner. 3 Salisbury's Barratini Hot Chick At Brocklewood.
JB (5) 1 Price's Samlane Belleze. Well made young bitch
with a lovely head and eye, correct front assembly and feet, well ribbed and
good parallel hocks which she used well on the move, very good coat and
outline. 2 Russel's Russteck So Fair A Dream. Good size nicely headed bitch,
another with good ribbing and hindquarters, not quite the lay of shoulder of
the winner, so not the same front extension. 3 Morris' Pennywave Top Totti.
PGB (3) 1 Blackburn's Stargang Compania Faberge. A nice
type bitch who started off by leaping off the table, but luckily was not
injured and unfazed! Good head, neck and eye, correct front assembly with
sufficient keel and ribbing. Won this class with ease. Good brindle, well
presented coat, used her well muscled hindquarters well. Res CC. 2 Franks'
Lordscairnie Posh Love. Brindle bitch. Pleasing head and eye, short upper
arm, ribs could go further back, outline ok and hindquarters strong. 3
Gilkes' Malrich Oreo At Birichino.
LB (8) 1 Jones' Bimini Out Of The Blue. Nicely made
bitch carrying a bit of weight today, good head, front and feet, ribs go
well back, good outline and moved extremely well. 2 Garrity's Stargang Apple
Crumble At Macusia. Well made bitch whose coat could be tidier, but she has
nice front and feet and is well ribbed with strong hindquarters. 3 Kugow
& Holt's Waldmeister Annie JW.
OB (9) Some disappointing bitches in this open class. 1
Kelly's Ir Ch Rioban Felt Finnish For Kmai JW Ir JCh JD. Liked this bitch as
she entered the ring and she was lovely to go over, sweet head and good eye,
strong neck into well laid shoulders, plenty of keel and tight feet, good
ribbing and strong parallel hocks, giving her excellent drive from behind,
very well presented in good jacket. CC, her second. 2 Russell's Russteck I
Dreamed A Dream. Another good bitch with correct front and ribbing, pleasing
head and good outline, dark brindle bitch with plenty of keel and tight
feet, would prefer more drive from behind. 3 Dance's Bimini Time To Travel
To Emem.
