LD (1) 1 Dunn's Barratini Danz On To Ashridge, good masculine head set on a reachy neck; would prefer more prosternum and longer ribbing; this made him appear long in loin; moved truly on front but needs more drive behind.OD (3) 1 Hayward's Foxearth Fiddler On The Roof, a well-balanced and eye-catching red in good coat; one of few with correct forechest coupled with excellent shoulder angulation and length of ribbing; well-muscled and angulated hindquarters; well presented and handled and was pleased to award him the Dog C.C. He gained Best of Breed as he was driving better behind than the bitch. 2 Rose's Ch. Ridanflight Ricardo, very mature boy with a lovely profile and general construction; well-laid shoulders and hind quarters; moved truly both ways; just carrying a little extra weight today. 3 Andrews Drakesleat Hostile Takeova. 1 Mallinson's Drakesleat Have Yen For You, a promising baby in good coat; well-angulated shoulders and lovely length of keel and ribbing; losing her topline a little on the move but maturity should help here. PB (2) Two very similar quality youngsters headed by - 1 Morris' Pennywave Uptown Girl, a feminine head set on a good length neck and better in fore construction than the 2nd; well-laid shoulders and keeping a good outline at all times; Best Puppy Bitch and BEST PUPPY IN BREED. 2 Howells' Fallowmill Wagga Wagga - splitting hairs here and similar remarks apply as to the 1st; just not quite as good in front as the winner. JB (5) High quality class boding well for the future of the breed. 1 Thorn Andrews' Drakesleat Win Da Mere - the best balanced in the class just needing maturity to complete the picture; not over-exaggerated in any way; lovely angulation at both ends and the steadiest mover in the class; pleased to award her the Reserve Bitch C.C. 2 Russell's Russteck So Far A Dream, again lovely balance all through and the best shoulder construction of the day; seemed rather put off by the noise in the hall and this caused a rather hesistant and restrictive hind movement; I'm sure a future champion in the making.

NB (1) 1 Thackwray's Dathack's Perfect Diamond, a smart bitch just needing maturity to complete the picture; rather lacking in forechest but a good length of ribbing; a little fidgetty today when standing but moving truly and steadily fore and aft. PGB (6) Splitting hairs between these two lovely bitches. 1 Morris' Pennywave Top Totti, small, neat, compact, well-balanced girl; lengthy neck on well-laid shoulders and the best movement in the class; pressed hard in the challenge. 2 Price's Samlane Belleza, the type I like with lovely length of ribbing and good hind musculature; striding out well and truly both fore and aft; just not as mature in body as the 1st. 3 Walker's Roselle Irenee. LB (4) 1 Hayward's Foxearth Fatma Salkan, a confident red girl, litter sisterto the Dog C.C. winner; feminine head set on a reachy neck; excellent spring and depth of ribbing; striding out well and holding a good outline at all times. 2 Howell's Fallowmill Carolina, a lovely 'tidy' type of bitch with coat just coming in; good shoulder placement and hind angulation; well muscled throughout but not quite the prosternum of the winner. 3 Ros's Ridanflight Reflection. OB (6) A lovely quality class right down the line headed by one that really cannot be overlooked. 1 Thorn Andews' Champion Drakesleat Scent Sybil, a bitch with super ring presence, excellent outline and overall construction; great balance throughout and moved truly; pleased to award her the Bitch C.C. 2 Blackburn-Bennett's Stargang Walking On Sunshine, a super-smart bitch presented and handled beautifully; excellent fore construction and moving like a train; would prefer a longer sweep of keel and shorter loin; must make up. 3 Morris' Bamburg Black Opal At Stargang.
