MPD (1) 1 Presnail's Taree Useless Loop. Masculine head
of good balance, well developed body with good front angulation and keel.
Would like a tad more bone to legs and feet. Strong topline, moved with good
width, well muscled hindquarters.
PB (4, 1) 1 Howell's Fallowmill Sydney. Typy head with good strength of jaw.
Nicely shaped and balanced, good front construction. Strong mover with good
width to front. 2 Thorn-Andrews' Drakesleat JP Once In A Blue Moon. Typy
head with good reach of neck. Strong topline and well boned down. Not as
positive in front as first, but at a very raw stage. 3 Hayward & Howell's
Fallowmill Cambera.
JD (5, 2) 1 Jones' Bimini Starstruck. Won on overall type and shape, would
like a tad more ground clearance, well developed body, good jacket texture.
Soundest mover. 2 Spence's Helydon Goharley At Cicada. Appealed very much in
style. Stronger in back skull than I would like. Lacked width to front but
overall had good body and topline. Good jacket. 3 Lewis' Bastlefords Toffee
Crisp For Trixhund.
LD (3, 1) 1 Grant's Barratini Ted Astaire At Granhoward. Masculine head with
good reach of neck. Liked his body shape and porportions, would like better
feet, sufficient hind angulation, moved ok. 2 Withheld.
OD (5) 1 Thorn-Andrews' Drakesleat Hostile Takeova and 2, Barney's Verrami
En Trac. Very hard decision, as there is much to like about both. I felt 1
had more layback of shoulder and better legs and feet and overall had a more
appealing type. Not as strong in topline but whilst second had a more rustic
look and excelled in body shape, he looked shorter in neck and didn't move
as well in front as first. However, these two males for me stood away in
this entry and won CC & Res CC respectively. 3 Rose's Ch Ridanflight
Ricardo.
MPB (9, 2) 1 Marston-Teal's Lordscainie Life Of Love. Loved her type of head
and overall shape. Balanced head with good expression. Good reach of neck
well set into strong front. Level topline nicely curved to well set
hindquarters, soundest mover. BP. 2 Billinghurst's Drakesleat Mrs Shilling
For JilJac. Pushed first very hard, but for me, doesn't have the headpiece
nor at present the width to front. Other than that, I liked her very much,
shapely body and good legs and thick padded feet. 3 Mallinson's Drakesleat
Have A Yen For You.
PB (8, 2) 1 Billinghurst's Drakesleat Mrs.Shilling For Jiljac. 2 Morris'
Pennywave Uptown Girl. Appealed very much in type and pushed hard. Well
constructed with good front and width. Not standing over the ground as first
and not as positive on the move. 3 Howell's Fallowmill Wagga Wagga.
JB (4, 1) 1 Thorn-Andrews' Drakesleat Win Da Mere. Beautifully compact and
well proportioned, this little girl appealed very much in type. Well
constructed and a very mature body, good ribbing. Good legs and feet. Moved
soundest in the class and in the challenge had that lovely expression and a
developed oval rib looking down the line. Res CC. 2 Fulton's Bothlyn Dancing
Queen. Another that appealed very much in type and construction. I liked her
overall quality and shape with good bone substance and feet. Pin coat. A
little unsure and this affected her movement but she looked sound. 3
Selley's Ubu Isabella Bird For Heleanne.
PGB (7, 2) 1 Price's Samlane Belleza. Preferred her head type and carries a
good outline.Well angulated front with good depth of keel, decent ribbing.
Good strength into hindquarters, well muscled, moved ok with good width
front and back. 2 Thackwray's Dathack's Perfect Diamond. Another with good
body shape and topline. Would like more reach of neck but one of the better
angulated fronts. Well shaped rib, well shaped into croup but shorter in
second thigh which spoilt the balance. 3 Morris'Pennywave Top Totti.
LB (6, 2) 1 Marston-Teal's Lordscairnie Rhythm Of Love. Stood out in this
class for type and body maturity. Good development of thorax, would have
like more upper arm return. Well propsrtioned body, would have liked
stronger hindquarters. 2 Jones' Bimini Out Of The Blue. Heavier type and
lower set to ground but there was a lot to like about her. Well shaped body
and level topline with good rounded rump. Moved well. 3 Morris' Stargang
Quintina At Pennywave.
OB (7, 3) 1 Thorn-Andrews' Ch Drakesleat Scent Sybil. Today I found many
exhibits lacked the balanced, conical heads and strength of underjaw, the
required reach of neck, the scopiness combined with strength in bone and
body structure. Hindquarters lacked balance and drive. Today, I found one
exhibit that had it all, she stood out for her Dachshund qualities, no
hesitation whatsoever, CC & BOB. 2 Morris' Banburg Black Opal At Stargang. I
liked her type very much, of more compact build. Not as clean in shoulder
but well developed front. Moved well. 3 Blackburn-Bennett's Stargang Walkin
On Sunshine.
