Having lived with this breed for over 20 years, I felt that the heads have lost their type slightly with too many short in muzzle & not having the lovely expression of a Mini Wire. Movement wasn’t as good as I’d like & lot of that could be help with a bit of exercise. Coats were good with nothing badly presented.

PD (1) 1 Grant’s Granhoward, good body & rib for a youngster, well made rear with good angles. Well made front with correct bone & feet. Good texture correct. Needs to settle in front movement, moved away well. BP. JD (1) 1 Rose’s Ridanflight Rock On Tommy, super cost texture & condition. Well made in front with a keel, well ribbed back & strong loin. Very happy on the move & kept a correct topline on the move. Needs to break in head which should come with a bit more age. PGD (2) 1 Howell’s Fallowmill Sydney, won on front construction & movement. Super harsh coat & texture. Pleasing head & expression. Well ribbed back into a short loin & well made rear. Moved with some real purpose; 2 Hayward & Howell’s Fallowmill Camberra, longer in the loin than 1. Which resulted in a rise over the loin on the move in profile. Happy on the move, coat was just about to blow. LD (2,1a) 1 Pain’s Ravensbeech Rigoletto, needs some ringcraft to get the best out of this dog. Good straight front. A well balanced head & expression. Good level topline on the move, good storing of rib. Good harsh wiry coat. OD (3) 1 Rose’s Ch Ridanflight Ricardo, stood out in this class. What a super mover who really strides out with purpose. Good flow through neck & shoulder into a correct topline. Super rear construction & this came to the fore on the move. Masculine balanced head with a good eye & expression. Good bone & feet & well sprung rib. Enough front for my liking. CC & BOB; 2 Grant’s Barratini Ted Astaire at Granhoward, a different type but still lots to offer. Good straight front into correct feet. Well ribbed back into a strong loin. Lovely head & expression with a soft eye. RCC; 3 Feetham’s Kimbleholme Jackpot.

PB (0). JB (2) 1 Marston-Teal’s Lordscairnie Life Of Love, better on the table than in the grass. Preferred the balanced of this bitch to 2. Good loin & a well made rear construction. Like a little more to the head but may come with age. Good bone & feet; 2 Howell’s Fallowmill Top Of The Class, rushed into the ring & didn’t settle that well. Good topline & well ribbed & loin. Moved out well behind. Well balanced head & expression. PGB (5,2) 1 Blackburn’s Stargang Liberty Belle, a nice feminine head with a bit of length to it that many lacked. Correct front & feet into a well ribbed body & good loin. Level topline & kept it on the move in profile. Like a little more positive movement away. Super coat & texture; 2 Selley’s Ubu Belarus Nahla to Heleanne, not the head of 1. Good bone & feet, well ribbed back, but just lost her topline in profile on the move. Well made rear construction; 3 Gilke’s Birichino Birdfoot Trefoil. LB (3) 1 Blackburn’s Stargang Compania Faberge, preferred the type of this bitch to 2. Again another with a good length of head & well balanced with a good eye. Super harsh coat. Well made rear construction with correct angles. Well made rib & strong loin. Like a little less front. Moved so well in profile & kept a good topline around the ring. RCC; 2 Jones’ Carlita Bewitched, a real showgirl that moved with some drive & purpose, kept her topline on the move around. Good coat texture, good bone & feet. Well balanced when stood; 3 Gilke’s Malrich Oreo at Birichino. OB (4) 1 Smith & Moon’s Drakesleat Prim N’ Proper for Alncroft, lovely make & shape & the best front construction of the day into a good straight front & nice feet. Well ribbed & good loin. Lovely flow from the head through the neck & shoulders to her rear. Well let down behind. Well presented in a good harsh packed coat. Feminine head & expression. Handler looked the part. CC; 2 Blackburn-Bennett’s Stargang Walkin On Sunshine, a longer type to 1 in the loin. Good straight front, correct spring of rib. Well made rear construction. Real mover around the ring; 3 Kay’s Kaytian Hunnie Ryder
