I was pleased to be asked to judge at this prestigious show, my thanks to the committee, and my lady steward for all her help. I did enjoy my day and  I found some lovely hounds, and was very pleased with my winners. However breed type varied enormously, making some decisions most difficult, coats were mostly good, but a few had rather soft coats, as usual temperaments were really good, and, some exhibits could benefit from some ring training

1^st.   Kirkwood-Emery,   Helydon Laird Loki good length and depth of ribbing, typical head and eye, moved out well. Still very much a baby, with time on his side

2^nd Fulton. Bothlyn Super Trouper, same remarks apply, just preferred bone on 1, could easily change places another day

1^st Thorn Andrew, Ch. Aincroft Over the Moon Drakesleat nicely balanced dog, with good head and eye, good ribbing and feet, moved soundly

1^st Clare, Lordscairnie Love God quality dog, nice brindle coat, good shoulder and ribbing moved true coming forward, but a tad close behind. 

LD 2 (1a)

1^st Rose, Ridanflight Rock on Tommy, not easy to go over on the table, as not cooperating with handler today. Super harsh coat, good length and depth of ribbing, good angulations fore and aft.

OD 5 (2a)

1st Jones, CH. Bimini Star Struck, filled my eye completely, lovely to go over on the table, everything in the right place, good front and shoulder, ribbing well back, good underline, correct hind quarters, low and level, but with plenty of space to move, which he certainly did, just flowed round the ring, so pleased to award him CC & BOB (pleased to note sired by my BOB last time of judging min wires

2^nd Thorn-Andrew, CH. Drakesleat on the Nod, lots to like here, typical head and eye, good length and depth of ribbing, moved well

3^rd Kugow & Holt, Waldmeister Aldo JW

VD 2

1^st Fulton, Ch.Bothlyn Brigadoon RCC.

Super little dog, everything in the right place, just into veteran,  still moving true both fore and aft, .liked him lots worthy champion, pleased to award RCC

2^nd Phillips. Ch Curtisey Boogy Woogy super harsh coat, well off for bone and ribbing. Gave his handler a bad time today, just not cooperating on the table

MPB   7 (2a)

1^st Morris, Pennywave Pollyanna nice puppy, with good harsh coat, well of for bone and ribbing, not easy to assess, as wasn’t cooperating with handler, needs time and training which I’m sure will happen given time.

2^nd Kirkwood -Emery. Helydon lexie’s Lilly another raw baby, who also needs time and training, well bodies with good coat and bone.

3^rd West Byabye Brillare with Archidax

1^st Daykin, Barratini Angels Eve lovely youngster.. On the table could hardly fault her, she moved true keeping a good outline at all times. nice head and eye, well laid shoulders  good length and depth of rib, can only improve as she matures, pleased to award BPIB

 2^nd Jones. Bimini Wish upon a Star another promising baby, sired I see by my BOB, lots to like here, well made throughout, nice shoulder, good ribbing, top and underline, good sound movement.

3^rd Grant, Granhoward Ownly                                                                       

JB 6 (1)

1^st Black, Bassodon, Dodecahedron quality bitch, with correct head and eye, good ribbing, top and underline, moved round with drive, topped off with a lovely wire coat

2^nd Thorn-Andrews, Draksleat Karamel Sutra just out of puppy, looking very mature, pleasing head and eye, good front, well let down quarters, moved out well keeping good outline

1^st Jones, Bimini Blue Moon another good quality exhibit from this up and coming kennel, once again just filled my eye, hard to fault, quality all through, correct head and eye, good reach of neck, well laid shoulders, and just flowed round the ring, no hesitation to give CC  

2nd Marston-Teal.  Lordscairnie Moon over Love.  Nicely made little girl, has lots to like, unlucky to meet 1^st  today. Good head, reach of neck, and ribbing, moved out well keeping a good clean outline..

3^rd Pain, Russteck Nicely Nicely for Ravensbeech

1^st Meredith.  Deepdax Perrie a very mixed class of bitches, not easy to sort out wo this class on her movement, correct head, good bone, good length and depth of ribbing kept a nice outline on the move..

2^nd Pain, Russteck Nicely Nicely For Ravensbeech up from 3rd in yearling, nice type, with good head and eye, correct coat, well off for bone.

 3^rd Morris, Pennywave Uptown Girl Sh.CM

LB 7 (4 ) I gave no doubt these three could change places another day.

1^st Marston-Teal, Lordscarnie Life of Love very nice compact little bitch, nicely made, good shoulders, ribbing, and keel. Moved true for and aft, keeping a good outline. 

2^nd Meredith.  Deepdax lets Dance another quality bitch, much the same applies, preferred outline on the move to 1st

3^rd Daykin.   Barratini Chatters

OB 7 (1a)

1^st Thorn-Andrews, Ch. Draksleat Stitch in Time another quality bitch from this famous kennel, has all the assets a champion requires in my opinion, awarded her the RCC today., I thought my CC winner just had the edge when on the move.    

2^nd Price, Samlane Belleza JW classy little bitch, well mad throughout, good wire coat, correct head and eye, ribbing well back, sound mover.  

3^rd Morris, Pennywave Top Totti JW Sh.Cm.

1st-Marston-Teal, Lordscarnie Love Life  and she looked as if she does, nicely made with good bone, correct head and eye., nicely ribbed, good top and underline, moved soundly coming and going

2^nd Dance, Emem all Het Up 10 year young in excellent condition, moved with drive, not showing her years, its always hard to separate the veterans, both a real credit to their owners.
