Taking over Bill Browne-Cole's entry, I thought the quality was much better in general and less of the mean expressions, there were a few with their underline drawing up too sharply.
VD (2, 1) 1. Thorn Andrews' Ch Dralesleat Win Alot, at 10 years this little chap still has all the qualities I was looking for. He has a balanced head with good length and depth of muzzle, long reach of neck set well into shoulders. Good length of upper arm and well boned down to feet. Good ground clearance. Strong topline, well muscled loin. Strong hindquarters. He moved the soundest of all the males. CC. PD (2, 1) 1 Kugow & Holt's Waldemister Jonah, nicely headed dog with good balance to length with lovely eye shape and depth of chin. Strong neck of good width, well laid shoulder still needs to develop in thorax. Level topline into well muscled hindquarters. Good depth to first thigh. Sound mover with plenty of width just needs to settle in front. Good jacket texture.
YD (3, 1) 1. Furneaux's Bassodon Zugzwang, typy chap, not helping himself on the table, has good front construction with return of upper arm and well developed thorax. Shapely body without exaggeration to hindquarters and moved soundly with good tail carriage. Coat needs to develop but later in the challenge he stood up to the job and his quality shone through. Res. CC. 2. Kay's Kaytian Tempest over Hiati, attractive red with houndy head. Well shaped eye and good strength to foreface. Lacked angulation to front and fill in of thorax. Lacked width to ribbing. Moved soundly. Typical jacket for colour.
PGD (4, 2) 1. Cassidy's Rosenez Little Rambler, Balanced with good overall shape, a tad out of coat. Typy head with good eyeshape. Slightly upright in shoulder, oval ribbing but a shade long in loin. Moved soundly. 2. Rigby's Waldmeister George, Stronger in skull and expression not so soft. Would like more reach of neck and length to upper arm and development to front. Slight rise to topline over rump. Moved well in hindquarters but more width to front.
LD (2) 1. Presnail's Taree Useless Loop, typical, shapely male with out being overdone. More compact in body, strong hindquarters and good bone substance. One of the better jacket textures. Moved positively both ways. 2. Clare's Lordscairnie Love God, not as appealing in head type but has good front angulation when stacked. Lacked width to thorax and this affected front movement. Not driving from hocks in profile.
OD (3, 1) 1. Thorn Andrews' Ch. Drakesleat On the Nod, compact male with balanced head. When stacked stood back into himself, not showing of his virtues. Medium length of neck, well ribbed with strong loin and topline. Strong hindquarters, moved with width and freedom. 2. Jones' Ch. Bimini Starstruck, liked his type and shape. Little finer in bone substance. Good reach of neck into good shoulder layback. Would have liked more body development in thorax and depth. Not as strong in hind moving.
SpecBegD (1) 1. Waldmeister George.
PB (11, 3) Best class of the day with so very proising babies. 1. Thorn Andrews' Drakesleat Too Gud To Be True, stood out for me in the whole entry in both type, shape and movement. Classy head with clean skull, lovely expression and punishing jaw. Reachy neck flowing into shoulders. Could stand under herself at times better but has lovely legs and feet. Super body and ribbing. Topline flows into broad hindquarters. Moved soundly. CC, BOB & BP. 2. Ergis & Merry's Drakesleat Trial n'Error for Siouxline, Slightly different in head makeup and a little rounder in eye. Good shaped frame and still needs to mature to fill this, super topline with good curvy rump. Moved soundly with good reach and drive. 3. Howells' Fallowmill Indian Runner.
JB (5) 1. Bimini Wish Upon a Star, very typy with good substance, body maturity and coat texture. Unexaggerated with level topline and moved well, especially away. 2. Mullen's Starhill Flirty Girty, preferred head type of 1 but she has a well angulated front and moved with good width. Just not as good in reach of neck. Good width to loin and topline. Not as well set in hock not driving as I would like. 3. Dance's Emem Gloria Sunshine.
YB (4, 1) 1. Black's Bassodon Dodecahedron JW, stood out for elegance and shape. Typical head with clean skull. Good thorax development, would like slightly cleaner front and more upper arm length. Good substance, muscled hindquarters. Soundest mover with purpose. 2. Mullen's Starhill Flirty Girty. 3. Branton's Tythe Garnet.
PGB (6, 2) 1. Franks' Lordscairne Posh Love, stood out for shape and deportment. Well shaped head with strong muzzle. Long reach of neck into well shaped body. Moved showing a very smart outlook. 2. Gilkes'Ridanflight Rockin Rita, very nice to go over but hasn't the reach of neck and upper arm return of 1. Well shaped body and underline. Strong hindquarters, sound mover. 3. Clements' Springdac Red Siren. LB (5) 1. Jones'Bimini Blue Moon JW, bitch with elegance and lovely lines. Feminine head with strong neck. Good front especially upper arm return. Could have a little more maturity in body but overall shape is good. Moved soundly. 2. Smith & Moon's Dralesleat Prim n Proper for Alncroft, compact type, good shape but not length of upper arm of 1 nor as elegant. Very shapely and unexaggerated, a little reluctant to move but was sound. 3. Franks' Lordscairnie Life of Love.
OB (2) 1. Thorn Andrews' Ch. Drakesleat Stitch in Time, quality bitch with lovely flow to body from nose to tail. Lovely body depth and ribbing, width to loin and full hindquarters. Moved so soundly, for me a more houndy type but I was stolen by the class of the Puppy. Res. CC. 2. Price's Samlane Belleza JW, different type of head, has good strong topline and depth of first thigh but not as positive in fill in of thorax and upper arm angulation.
