Thank you for accepting me as a replacement judge at the very last minute. It has been a while since I last judged them and I was pleasantly surprised. Coats were generally good and it was nice to see so many happy exhibits. Hind movement let many exhibits down and several of the dogs were too long in loin, this wasn’t so much of a problem in the bitches. There were several overweight youngsters but I was more forgiving today with the hotter weather they were needing to drink more .My BOB today had everything that I require in a mini wire dachshund and would have taken him home without question.

1st: FULTON Bothlyn Penny from Heaven This baby stood out in this class. Elegant classic lines. 1st: BLACKBURN Stargang Minnesota This was a tough class as 3 different types and anyone could change places on another day.
