What a lovely entry many thanks- unfortunately good shoulders are in the minority – many have forward placed shoulder, and short upper arm seems to becoming the norm, consequently this leads to shortness in the sternum and ribbing. Only a couple well overweight due to size – many had three to four ounces to play with and did not take advantage of this – nobody was thin but plenty would have benefited for a little more covering.
MPD (5) (1abs) 1.Feetham’s KIMBLEHOLME CAZINO B&T pleasing head, good front and shoulder of the correct proportions, good length of sternum so ribbing should come back in time – moved soundly BPD 2. Storton’s DEREHEATH TONY THE LONELY red smart youngster, no so forward in maturity and not as good in shoulder as the winner 3. Earthsea Pinball Wizzard.
PD (1) 1. Feetham’s KIMBLEHOLME JENGA also a minor puppy, needs time, exquisite head, good mouth lovely eye shape good reach of neck, good overall outline, moved o.k.
JD (4) 1.Thorn-Andrews & Billinghurst’s DRAKESLAT KUMQUAT MAY Brindle Very sound to go over pleasing head and sufficient neck, good front & shoulder – good overall balance – all of a piece, moves true, pushed hard in the challenge but would not co-operate with his handler RCC 2. Smiths AINCROFT IVAN INKLING lovely type, pleasing head balanced outline good front and shoulder , little shy but settled and moved out well 3. Hot Sezona Iz Divnogorja
YD (3) Thorn-Andrews CH DRAKESLEAT IVOR NOTION Nice head, good reach of neck, would like a little more fore chest, good ribbing sound topline moves out well 2. Tite’s ONISUKA TIGER VITORAZ AT FIJOBEAU red very eye catching young man – thought he would be my winner when he came into the ring, unfortunately not the front assembly of the winner has good overall balance and moves well, exquisite head, lovely bone and feet well presented 3.Gulliagh Loganberry of Robinswood
PGD (3)1. Salisbury’s PENNYWAVE NOSEY PARKER AT BROCKLEWOOD smart, balanced, well covered for body, good well filled front, well presented moves soundly.2. Black’s LORDSCAIRNIE CAULD BE LOVE taller on the leg than the winner and not as clean in outline 3. Gulliagh Loganberry of Robinswood
LD (2)Feetham’s HANISHAN CHECKERS OF KIMBLEHOLME lovely type, super coat, good head sufficient neck, correct shoulder and front sound movement felt he needed a touch more body to complete the picture then could have pushed hard for top honours 2. Clare’s LORDSCAIRNIE LOVE GOD pleasing overall clean outline, well presented, not the rear movement or drive of the winner
OD (7) (2abs) Kirkwood-Emery CH HELYDON LAIRD LOKI Brindle with an excellent coat – so sound to go over everything fitting together nicely with no exaggeration, pleasing head and length of neck, loved his rear angulation and drives from behind around the ring CC 2.Kay’s KAYIAN TEMPTEST OVER HAITI red very much of the same type as the winner and same coments apply regarding balance and coat, just lacked the hind angulation of the winner 3.Kimbleholme Jackpot
Vet D (3) 1.Hayward’s CH FOXEARTH FIDDLER ON THE ROOF have judge this dog before when he was in his prime – still looking grand and can move, in excellent condition a credit to his owners. 2. Phillips CH CRUTISEY BOOGY WOOGY another grand old chap lovely shape but unfortunately the winner out moved him 3. CH BASSODON WESTWOOD
MPB (10) (2abs) what a lovely class of babies will be interesting to follow their progress 1Kirkwood-Emery’s HELYDON OOR OAKLEY could have taken her home, cheeky little fidget but when she settled what an outline – beautiful shape and all fitting together perfectly, lovely coat already, will be following her with interest . 2.Mullens’s ROZELLE KAMIRA’S YEAR totally different in type to the winner but a lot to like about her , she has all the essentials, and sure she will come into her own with time moved really well for one so young 3. Archidax Dark Phoenix
PB ((6) (1abs) 1. Hayward’s JANTER RIDDLE red won this class with ease – has a lovely outline well put together, sweetest head and expression reachy neck and lovely topline moves soundly with plenty of drive BP 2. Feetham’s KIMBLEHOLME TABOO another quality puppy lovely head and eye, elegant and moves well unfortunate to meet the winner who beat her on maturity 3.Helydon Nifty Nairn
JB (8) (2abs) 1. Smiths AINCROFT PHOEBE GONZALEZ lovely overall balance, pleasing head well assembled front and good shoulder, beautifully presented and shown, moves around the ring keeping a lovely outline 2. Fulton’S BOTHLYN PENNY FROM HEAVEN b&t – what a divine head and excellent eye shape lovely front good topline and outline, little short in rib and well angulated hindquarters – thought she was my winner on the table but needs some road work to complete the picture and tighten up in movement, could not denigh this place 3. Demanwood Pecan at Foxearth
YB (5) 1. Dance’s Ch EMEMCONSTANCE SUNSHINE lovely bitch nothing to dislike about her extremely honest to go over and moves well won this class with ease RCC 2.Marston-Teal’s LORDSCAIRNIE LOVE ISLAND nicely made bitch of quality, would prefer more bone and coat is quite sparce in places – moves nicely 3. Foxearth run for Fun to Kaytian
PGB (12) (2)abs Storton’s DEREHEATH HELEN REDDY red classic outline which she keeps on the move, good to go over lovely head, well presented, moves soundly 2.Fulton’s JOLANDA UPTOWN GIRL AT BOTHLYN excellent head and eye, good front assembly but shoulder set a little too far forward and consequently lacks in reach on the move – lovely overall picture 3.Byabye Brillare with Archidax
LB (6) (1abs) 1.Kennedy’s JANTER BEE FOREVER very elegant bitch, lovely clean outline, moves well put down in tiptop condition, had her in mind for the cc but she was dipping her topline in the challenge but won this class with room to spare 2. Black’s BASSODON DODECHEDRON quality bitch – had the best feet of the day lovely bone and substance for her size, soundly constructed and moves well 3.Helydon Magical Mika
OB (13) (3abs) 1. Thorn Andrews CH DRAKESLEAT TOO GUD TO BE TRUE Super - a pleasure to go over the best shoulders and front assembly of the day, good length to ribbing, strong loin, strong hindquarters – moves without fault – delighted to give her the CC BOB and go on to RBIS 2. Ergis & Merry’s DRAKESLEAT TRIAL N ERROR FOR SIOUXLINE lovely bitch same coments apply to front and shoulders, could easily change places with the winner who I understand is her sister, beautifully presented 3. Deepdax Lets Dance
